A Homecoming: Celebrating Lindsey King & Hope Building

HDA's Hope Building Program is a groundbreaking project that provides paid on-the-job training in residential construction for men & women in substance use recovery. Now, heading into its fifth year, the program has an impressive 73% success rate, meaning that 24 of our 33 trainees have gone on to secure long-term employment in the community or have received college certificates in construction technology. Lindsey King is one of our standout trainees, who now works full-time as a carpenter and Assistant Trainer in the Hope Building Program for the Housing Development Alliance.
