This video is all about my honest experience in the UK so far. It has been almost 2 years in the UK as a student and now heading towards professional life. It has been quite a roller coaster ride; fun exciting, new challenges, fear and homesickness. I have started this journey with you guys and thank you for being with my channel.

Hello guys, many of you are asking about the crime checker. Here it is, write on google Crime in my Area and it provides you website where you need to write your postcode and it generates basic crime report for you.
Note: sometimes it can’t be that accurate due to uncertainty in crime record or past years so don’t fully rely on it but it gives you a little heads up. Also asking the locals about the surroundings might help you decide your accommodations.

I came to the UK as a student year 2007, recession hit in 2008 and I lost my part time job, I was dead broke. But I hassled in the cold harsh weather, completed my studies, got a job, saved money, set-up a firm, sold the firm in 2021 and retired. It all happened in 13 years. UK is not for the weak, if you want to be successful here then you have to integrate with British community and also depends on your mindset. Your current situation does not determine your future but your thoughts will.
I completely agree with you. It’s not easy to survive, need to come with open mind and mix with the environment. I did faced hard times that I couldn’t describe here but it made me stronger than before! Thanks for your kind words:))

The fact is that i also came uk on 29th August 2021 and Cambridge on the same day first time without any friends here!! That was the worst day as i was only in Tshirt 😂 and today was my dissertation results and finally I completed my studies today!

Initial Years while studying and after college is tuff but if you are not living tuff life during that time remember your next 3 years after your initial 2 years after college will be more tuff and if you are really working hard after 2-3 years of your college then next 3 year will be less tougher and next 3 year will be more comfortable. when i started working in 2007 i was working for 15 hrs a day until 2009 and from 2009 to 2011 i just worked 9 hours a day but after that i was working 8 hours a day 5 days a week... and until now i work mon to friday 40 hrs and rest time enjoy...

Clean ups control me rakho don't overdo, do it in bits and pieces, in parts every month on each Saturday sunday only for two hours each day , like bath rooms on Friday cupboard on Sunday, Saturday room ...but keep one Saturday and Sunday for personal grooming, Market only after rest in afternoon...as it's all your life

If you type on google Crime in my area. It gives you option to search according to postcode. So write your postcode and check the crime reports. It couldn’t be accurate sometimes as some crime could have happened in past five years or so, so don’t reply on it but it can give you basic heads up! Also asking the locals helps about the surroundings.

Can work like this but if you are student then can’t work more than 20 hours and during breaks or after studies are over and you have tier 2 or graduate visa you can work 40 hours or more.

I liked how you explained everything to us, also i came here after watching the brut video. I wanted to ask about what's the scope of getting a full-time job after graduation or post graduation? What factors play the role in it? How do we apply for full time job there? What's the probability of getting selected for a job and also is it better than India in terms of growth? I'm from pharmacy background, here in India, it's not a very known profession, but i hear in abroad pharmacy is respected and important subject, so i want to pursue my Post graduation abroad. I heard from one of my professor that it's difficult to get admission in UK, we need scholarship programme, expenses are high too!

I would like to know something about how much would be cost of living in wales as I am presently working in UAE and I have job offer from wales but not sure whether to accept it or not.
I think expenses in the UK are pretty much the same but wales is another country in UK and if we compare, the living cost and accommodation is quite cheap to some cities in England. As we move further towards north of UK the things gets cheaper. I hope that helps! Good luck 😊

I’m not so sure about mba but my friend did got a placement in a retail but again uni has positive and negative reviewers so you can also check on Google for more information. As per me my course and my faculty was so good and helpful.

I am applying to LSE, Warwick, Manchester, Birmingham etc. As you mentioned your course was research focused, I think you might be able to help me. What are the part time jobs one could do in research? I'm guessing RA at my college but anything else you are aware of?

@@sumitpawankumar585 You're from India? So am I. I'm currently working, took a gap year after my bachelor's in economics. Afaik you can sit for two years after your masters with the graduate visa and work. You can find a good employer with the help of your university, but it's not like India where they come to college for placements. You have to do the searching and applying on your own...but each university will have some tie ups that you can approach. Also attend networking fairs, connect with the right people and possibly understand what are the required skills at your dream job and try learn them during your Masters as well.

@@sumitpawankumar585 I haven't done my masters yet. I've got accepted by a few I applied to to stat my masters for the sept intake. I really can't comment on salaries, I'm as unsure as you are. But as I mentioned, abroad everything depends on your initiative. I don't think getting a job during the PSW will be hard, getting one that pays living cost and some part of the loan will be though. Even I'm going on loan as well.
