Well seeing as how a literal child made fully functioning vr gloves, that are about to have the ability to hold your fingers back to simulate holding things, for $20, probably a near future.
@Somethingisdoggy nah, all we need is people who are poor being able to code. I say we teach every kid in school how to code, then we would all have much cheaper tech
If you modify the open source software and hardware, you could even add in some haptics (and it's being done by lucas). These big companies are selling you thei R&D for something that has already been done multiple times.
I thought haptic gloves were forever away for consumers but seeing how sleek and well designed these gloves are im a full believer in this being the next step for vr
@@farbenpracht I get your point, but we're talking a 166x price difference for a product that's maybe 3-4x better (30$ vs 5K$) this is clearly aimed at enterprises who don't care about cost, none of these gloves are aimed at the consumer level except for the DIY ones :/
If it was haptic, why are your hands always closed when you go to pick up an object but in-game it looks like you are actually holding something? When you said Haptic restriction, do you mean it applies a little force to your hand, but you still touch your fingers together?
I like how the tendon system I first came up with in 2016, has entered the collective conscious, and manifested elsewhere, That's pretty cool, but there are some issues with this design that i would change, but this is a cool proof of concept.
It’s great technology but it’s some Bluetooth gloves with some straps, haptic engines, some plastic and elastic, little motors, and a bit of programming and they expect you to pay the price of a productivity PC for it?
Great but I just wish these were having also texture feedback and would be affordable for mainstream consumers...$5k for a pair of VR gloves that has no texture feedback and built in pos tracking is a no for me and for many others (not to mention that it barely supports VR games/apps)
It’s cool yeah but someone made this exact type of product that works better for the price of around 50 quid that anyone can buy a kit for to build and the 50 pound gloves actually work with game like half life
I cant wait till the haptic gloves can become something that the VR headsets just come with.
Me too
@Theo Cooper about you
One day...

nathie is so underrated. like i can actually relate to him and his reactions are natural and aren’t scripted. also i miss the zombie vr games!
I’m sure Nathie would agree with me when I say he’s not underrated he may be a UA-camr you enjoy but not everyone would say the same
@@datboin2402 true
bruh he literally reads off a script tho
@@Jackbonenate Doesn’t everyone?
maybe i would try those 25$ opensource ones

Hope your having a good day/night!
I have covid 19 but im doing good thank you
i fallen in love with girl that i will not see in next year

2:25 "these are still some of the cheapest" Lmao no, i'll stick to my 30$ DIY gloves that work perfectly for their purpose, thank you very much...
Same lol
ok

How?!
@@mike_sluis8511 Check out the LucidVR glove project. These stupidly exepensive enterprise-level gloves are simply uneeded for consumers.
Oooooo new vr haptic tech
i had no idea how far vr had come untill i saw this video, i was blown away👍
I really love how 3D printers helps these kind of development easier, faster and cheaper. This is the new industrial revolution.
Everyone gangsta till someone gives you a high five and the gloves think they nuked your hand.
Never have clicked faster in my life (first)
LOL SAME!
Not first
No one gives 3 donkeys
Who cares

READY PLAYER ONE IS GOING TO BE REAL SOMEDAY LES GOOO
im trying to save up for the oculus quest 2 so that i can enjoy a whole new expirience
the one thing i’m worried about is if someone in like vr chat could bend my fingers back and break them
Bruh. That’s scary however I think they won’t make their gloves that strong
no
they output a max of 40 newton’s which is about 5lbs of force lol
This is exciting! I've tried some of these like the Dexmo gloves. These look awesome!!!
The green and orange glove at 1:30 looks like a glove that you would see on a cs:go skin. Just me?
as soon as I heard motion feedback I was hyped
That would be the only thing I would steal in my life

actually i'm looking at my file and it was 2015, whoops
mind if I ask why they don't set up a finger for the pinkie?
Work with htc vive cosmos ?
One question though. Why pinky finger don't have any skeleton?
It’s great technology but it’s some Bluetooth gloves with some straps, haptic engines, some plastic and elastic,

How would you move around in VR with haptic gloves if you don’t have a joystick?
Haptic shoes? I would be happy :)
Do kind of wish that Oculus would open the APIs so that this sort of thing could be used in apps that support hand tracking.
Damn theyre good, but €4,499??!! Thats a damn lot, Thats like 5 times more than my pc 🥲😂
Now I want these so i can flip people off in vr chat
At this point we just need to make some track we can run on without going anywhers
That already exists
So do these also track your hand movement?
I’m about to buy an oculus and I was just nonchalantly saying I probably should get haptic gloves lol
i can finally give my manager in job simulator the middle finger
And here a guy in MIT is developing a heptic vr gloves for $22, he published the instructions so you can make it at home as well
What were the games he was playing, they look fun and I want to look into them, not the gloves demo but the other gamees
Cool!
Can we get 1 for Oculus Quest 1? (or err whatever you call it)
Hi nathie I love your vids
I hope the price of these gloves will fall from time to time "^^
I'd love to try them
LETS GOOOO!
The Matrix but without being plugged in haha!
All the thanks to the companies trying where others just copy and paste others
How to you move around because the joysticks are on the controller
imagine using this in vr chat, some user will have an anti haptic glove avatar that just breaks your fingers lmao
Better yet, create full body tracking like the have for PC.
By any chance is this compatable with quest 1?
You can get dt5 and 15 from 500gbp so cheapest is incorrect
Thank you.
Do the haptic gloves require a pc!
I got to get that for my quest 2
The next step is to add textures on the fingures and temperature!
*_fingures_*
Definitely dope

Can it work on quest3 and can it work on every games
If I were a rich man ...
Wait how does that song go
But why so expensive? The hardware should not be that much right? 😢😭
They look like exo suit gloves from cod advanced warfare
Try making a pair of lucidgloves. They're open source, haptic and force feedback for $25 usd in parts. look up lucidvr.
can they be used with a oculus quest 1 not 2 ?
That one guy that made his own 22 dollar gloves: Pathetic.
3:19 So you can freely use V.AR
Imagine playing five nights at Freddy’s with those gloves it’s really scary enough
The future has started
This world is developing
this will be cool in job simulater
Were do I get
The Aperture Science Virtual Hand Haptic Device
Wait so I could get these and not need a pc to use with my oculus quest 2?
Someone needs to watch Lucas VRTech, he made $22 VR gloves
He’s put out his design and software for free to 3D print, V4 of his design will include force feedback, but right now his gloves are haptic
Do they work with pavlov?
Yay, another dutch company
Him: u can use it stand alone!
Me: omg imma buy it rn
Him: for only 5000 dollars
Me: ._.
Yes
Does anyone know what the name of rhe game with the lava monster?

they dont have force feedback for now
Looks cool, but not worth getting until supported on mainstream games
I cant wait till these get so advanced so if i get a papercut in vr then the glove would cut me
This glove is actually available to buy, links in description, to anyone who wants to know
What about the one that’s $22 usd
Will these go with ps vr?
5,000! I guess It is new tec
Haptic gloves price: $5000

cool gear.... but why does he look like mcauly culkin without the bad drug habit years?
does anyone know if there will be monthly offers for quest 2 vr games, like on the playstation?

If anyone sees this is there Bluetooth trackers no pc for quest 2
I thought the title said free lol.
