I like with the some of the Mario characters such as Mario, Brawl Luigi and Bowser, their final smashes more so symbolic rather than an actually referencing something specific. Mario Finale is basically supercharged version of Mario’s fire power-up, one of his oldest as well as strongest power-ups. Negative Zone is meant to reflect how Luigi has always been living in his brother’s shadow for many years, and Giga Bowser has Bowser becoming ginormous and a lot more powerful, like in most Mario games, but has a more updated and intimidating design to fit a fighting game such as Smash. Though final smashes that reference things are great as well. Anyways, thanks for this vid!

Same thing with every Smash game since Brawl supposedly being the last one. The major hurdle I see with Geno is that Nintendo themselves are neglectful of the Mario RPGS. Not necessarily Sakurai himself. Who actually likes Geno’s potential as a fighter.

It’s not that hard, even back in Brawl it had a rhythm that was easy to learn. You also have the option to button mash to create short ranged shockwaves that can racks up dmg on low percent on low percent fighters who manage to get close enough (somehow)
