  • Going over some of the issues and talking about my frustrations.
The lug nuts were hand tight but I was told to check them. So that's good.
I was amazed 5 trailers got picked up in one hour and most of the people didn't even look at the trailer or check their lug nuts.

Unfortunately, this is the quality from this company and you end up getting what you pay for.
In most circumstances, it is the first-time cargo trailer buy that gets sucked in by the cheap prices. I doubt if you will ever find someone going back a second time.
My advice, don't be in a rush and save a bit more to put towards a better made trailer and avoid all the headaches and quality control issues.

This is a Classic case of "Quantity over Quality".
I attended an 1800 hour course in Marine Mechanics at a local Tech School. The most valuable thing I learned was "Quality". Their definition was "To meet or exceed customer expectations".
Thanks for sharing this video. I called a couple of places that say that make them to order. There is no way I'd trust that after seeing this video. Godspeed, Sir!

If you buy one of these trailers you're basically buying a project. For full price. Why not just buy a used project for half money and fix it. Or less. Shit.

Thank you for sharing, no pride in there finish work.🤨 That bump is a screw that they screw down a thin piece of ply to the roof framing, that works as a shim to keep the roof from “tin canning” you can’t get to them you can just slide a piece of sheet rubber or plastic behind it too keep it from wearing through. You have some finish work to do. Good video.🤓

I looked at a new Cynergy enclosed trailer today. My advice for anyone looking for a trailer would be to avoid them. The frame / structure is super light material and only tack welded together in most places. The one I was looking at was actually missing welds in places when looking from side to side. The wiring is a joke using scotch connectors.
They do look good from the outside but don’t be fooled! This one didn’t have any company decals on it and I can see why they wouldn’t want their name on it.

I will now know what to look for in a trailer going forward. Like my first pickup truck, I never thought to look under the bed at the crossmembers to make sure they werent all rotted out. The same with these trailers, the welds were horrible, thin cheap metal, just all around poor craftsmanship. My 7x16 "quality" cargo is 3 years old this coming April. So far it has a new breakaway and battery, a new jack stand, multiple welds broken that needed to be rewelded, lights that randomly work and dont work. My mechanic said one light was actually grounded to a piece of wood, I dont even know how it wouldve worked in the first place but it did. The floor is weakening in spot inside because the plywood doesnt line up evenly on the trailer cross members, spots where the walls buldge out in particular in the wheel wells in between the two tires. I had ever weld in the v nose break so that when I walked into the back of the trailer the nose would lift up from the frame and I could see daylight.

    • @OTAlucard
      @OTAlucard  4 роки тому +1

Thank you. Our Horton hauler from 2004 finally did that 2 years ago. And the nose lifts off the front of the trailer frame when you drive a zero turn mower up into the back of it without any blocks in the back to support it. Yeah it's utility trailers only for me and deck overs from now on. I'll make an enclosure for my utility trailer that I can sit on there with a forklift.

It might be the people building it care, but they are being managed more for volume than quality. If they don't have quality goals, the workers must just focus on volume production. As I was watching this, was reminded of some cheap products from Asia. It's nothing to do with where it's from, only how it's managed.

They're all the same. I'm not going to mention any names but look at Google Earth see how close all the companies are. . It seems like the one you mentioned is in a horribly small lot. And most people rebadged the same trailers with another name
They make all of these companies and when one gets a bad name they dump it and make another one.
The cold hard fact is how in the world are you going to compete with your competition and you're literally right next door to each other. There's guy on UA-cam that was downplaying how bad the quality of the trailers were in the comments here and you look up his UA-cam account. And he's the guy who sets up the automatic welding machines for all of them in Douglas Georgia.
Steer clear save your money I see the roofs peeling back 2-3 a year going down i75. Mine hasn't left the driveway since I bought it I'm going to have to make another video explaining all of the other problems I'm having like the door swelling in the sun and not being able to shut it etc.

No, they are different manufactures. South GA is the hub of all cargo trailers. Some are cheaper which offer a shorter warranties. If you choose a good brand then it saves you quite a bit of money vs. buying one local. Majority of trailers come out of south ga unless you are going to pay a ridiculous price for an all aluminum trailer. These are good trailers for the price. The video showed some minor things.
