We want to go there this spring!
Thanks for the great tips!
Really well made! I am off to Normandy in two weeks. I will spend a week there and head off for Picardie to visit these sites for another week. Great info of what to see; thank you
Thanks! Have a great trip!
I enjoy historical tourism...I'm a big WWII buff, but don't know much about the first great war. Looked like a great trip. Well done video Brian!
I thought I knew a bit, but boy was I wrong. You should definitely go visit if you are a history/war buff. They had tons of information just one a couple battles of the war. These were suppose to be very important battles but also extremely gruesome with many casualties. Safe Travels!
Cool, nicely done.
thanks Gabriel!
very cool =). i love that you still did this even though you're not totally into historical tourism.
It was a difficult topic to cover. I enjoyed the trip very much and now have a great appreciation for something new. Safe Travels!
I did what you said and visited In Flanders Fields first. Came out crying ... so many dead.
It is a sad story, one everyone should remember.
Eeeper ! Zona-baka Pashen-dala Maaaynen ! how it sounds in Flemish ;)
What about Diksmuide ?
Diksmuide was not a Britisch sector, from the Belgium port Nieuwpoort to the river Ijzer was the Belgium sector (including Diksmuide) and from the River Ijzer to the French border was the britisch sector.
"eeprez" lol
its not difficult to find out how to pronounce Ypres French or Ieper Dutch
A lost generation In war Nobody wins During the 1920s girls in germany England and France couldnt find someone to marry Most young men were dead. , cripplled , in wheelchairs, or insne to carry a marriage
All forgotten, those who survided and their parents siblings friends cousins are also dead now
War is declared by adults and young men die
(0 years latter we havent learned the lesson, and Europe has a new war Shame on us
