Looks awesome. I’d love to see some way to map to musical scales. Also a step sequencer type module where a note in the tracker changes the pattern (maybe one for notes and one for drums)

Having a keyboard where all the keys in a set scale would be absolutely amazing. Creating your own scale would be on another level!

Thank you for all the work you've done on Sunvox! Have you considered an isomorphic keyboard layout option? I saw it on the Sythstrom Deluge for the first time and I think it would be a cool way to jam with both hands taking advantage of the vertical axis on large touch devices like tablets.

The UI scaling and paint tools was the clincher
Great update. I was struggling with how to enter chords efficiently and this is an improvement. Would be even more efficient if you could just enter them one go with a shortcut, and similarly with note offs

I've been hoping for some improvements on the keyboard for some time now! Awesome, this is quite the christmas present.
What would really fulfill my wishes is a scale mode (set the keyboard to a scale (being able to remove the black notes would be enough) so you can mindlessly swipe your finger over it to create melodies!)

Could the add the selected notes to pattern button (third from left on draw tools popup) make the notes sound when pressed especially when the pattern is playing. As this would make up for the fact that notes cannot be added to an existing pattern live.
Question about the program: is it possible to do different kinds of synths? Are there any presets?

These updates are amazing thank you. But the row semitone shift doesn't work on my linux system for some reason. I shift the notes and press apply but it has no effect.

hi thanks a lot for all you work. please i have a question, i have a little latency when use my qwerty keyboard (i am on linux) but it solves when choose ALSA as driver and my USB interface as output and input, so my interface it is recognizsed, but i dont know why the sound dont come out trought my headphones connected to my usb interface as with my DAWs. Any idea?

У меня есть вопрос, может немного не по теме. А как вбивать в паттерн триоли, тридцать вторые или более "короткие" длительности? И возможно ли это вообще?
Очень даже по теме :)
Триоли и все, что связано с выходом за границы сетки паттерна, делаются при помощи эффектов задержки 1D или 40-5F. Подробнее про эффекты можно почитать тут: warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/manual_ru.php#pat Если триоль укладывается в 4 и более строки, то просто введите три ноты подряд, выделите нужное количество строк и в меню редактора паттерна нажмите "Распределить равномерно".
Если нужен триоль для 2 строк, то задержки будут такие:
строка 0: трек0 - без задержки (нули в поле EE); трек1 - EE=56;
строка 1: трек0: EE=4B.
Длительности короче одной строки делаются эффектом 1C.
Кроме того, можно просто увеличить разрешение сетки в свойствах проекта, уменьшив значение TPL. Но это сразу же ускорит воспроизведение - имеющиеся паттерны придется либо растягивать, либо переписывать.
Is there any possible way to have settings update live without needing the 'apply' button?
Setting up a gui in sunvox is seriously one of the most tedious and annoying experiences I've ever had in my life, and I was abducted and abused as a child.
It's HELL when you get into the main settings menu and need to keep closing and reopening the menu just to see and test your changes
Not yet. By the way, I experience very similar feelings from other music apps :)
@@AlexanderZolotov Not trying to be a downer; even with mediocre ui personalisation controls, I still use sunvox over everything else!
Please just consider adding it, I don't think the apply button is really even technically needed.
@@jeffbrownstain I think you're right about the APPLY button. But that can't be changed with a few lines of code :( At least I promise to think about it when I have free time.

А зачем pianoroll в трекере?
@@AlexanderZolotov Многие, не только я, не можем в столбик, когда лет 20 пишешь на стандартной дав, просто пианоролл удобнее, копировать ноты и все это как то нагляднее что ли
@@AlexanderZolotov И да это привлечет кучу людей в трекер, ведь среди бесплатных это отличная программа для написания музыки, не требовательная и тд. Но столбики вместо пианорола отталкивают людей.
@@user-sm1sj5rl1d не то чтобы я был против экспериментов с объединением трекера и pianoroll - тут есть над чем подумать. Но мне кажется, что на десктопах трекерный интерфейс удобнее и эффективнее

Хотелось бы еще для мобильных устройств что бы можно было ударку в сетке прописывать сразу тач тапом на лету.
Что бы как в классическом секвенсоре можно было на лету забивать или отбивать точку в патерне как на кнопку в нужную точку такта.

мобильного потокового юзерфрендли миниэкранов драм забивок.))
Типа как Макросы девайсов в NI реакторе ! )))
С энкодерами итп.
Нужны не только фэйдеры
а и энкодерные вращалки инструментам что бы экономить место мобильных экранов.
Еще нужно так что каждая область убегала в край экрана сама при двойном тапе по ней
чтобы каждый раз пальцем не тянуть в другую сторону экрана назад а двойной клик эту область прижимал в упор стенки.))
В мобильном нужно быстро освобождать зоны просмотров областей места немного.
