Echolink & RCForb HF Remote on Chromebook

Yes, you can run Echolink & the RCForb HF Remote Control on Chromebook! Some late model Chromebooks do support running the same applications you are already using for ham radio on your Android phone. An older Asus Chromebook I was using did not support this feature, and when it finally quit working, I decided to start looking for a new Chromebook. I settled on a Lenovo Chromebook C330 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop, 11.6-Inch HD (1366 x 768) IPS Display, MediaTek MT8173C Processor, 4GB LPDDR3, 64 GB eMMC, Chrome OS, 81HY0000US, Blizzard White.
This model was available on Amazon and at Best Buy, it being a current model.
My remote base HF station is an Icom IC-7200, which you can control with the free RCForb Windows software from Remotehams.com. The Android app is available in the Play Store and is about $10 US. Once you own the app for Android, you can use it on your Android phone and also on this Chromebook (as well as other models - but not all, so check before you buy that the model you get supports Android apps.
Take ham radio with you when you travel - use your Chromebook at hotels, on your patio, anywhere you have WIFI. Control your ham radio station remotely or use another person's station. (Request transmit permission if you wish to use the transmitter.)

Thanks for the video Pat, I already have RCForb on my pc and got tx privileges from US remote basa stasion but still have no courages to tramsmit even just joinning the net.
