@Boston Martinez it was “Flashback” there and pretty rough from what I remember. Boomerangs are literally everywhere and with parks having much better coasters generally that have one I’ll usually skip them or ride it first.
I rode this yesterday, it was my first real rollercoaster since I was scared of them. Turns out I loved it! I rode the Goliath, then the Iron Rattler after it was amazing!
Brandon Hirsch well there's only nine if them and none of them are that outstanding except for Maybe American thunder or Mr freeze reverse blast though that was cloned from six flags over texas
It allows the parks maintenance staff not only increase the speed of the initial lift but also allows them to gently lower the catch car that lifts the train, so there is no more "clunking" on the way down.
I use to ride this ride at Six Flags Over Texas when it was called The Flashback! It was one of my FAVORITE rides when I was a kid. I was sooooo sad when I went back as an adult to ride it and it was gone. However, I am very happy to find out that it is located at another Six Flags park. I guess I need to make a trip to St. Louis!
Yeah, Sea Serpent was the first Boomerang opened, of the 45 that are active today. You guys have a pretty good amusement park, I need to get over there some time.
superman's not usually broken down, it's the wind that whips around the cables high up. It's got a lot of issues because it was moved up from texas, it'll take a bit to work on it and bring down the down time
Did You Know: This ride was originally called Flashback, and was located at Six Flags Over Texas. However, they moved it to Six Flags St. Louis which gave them room to build the Texas Sky Screamer.
That one guy is like there is that ride way over there and there is that ride over here, a beautiful theme park! We have 9 coasters now... Like he wasn't really focused on the ride as much as pointing out every damn ride in the park
This roller coaster was my first ever, and I can't believe I actually did it. I screamed at the top of my lungs during the whole and after if my eyes were ringing and I couldn't talk, I lost my voice. 😂 I was so scared.
Wow, I did not know that! I remember riding it the first year it opened also at Morey's. It's a good coaster, but just something about going backwards after all those loops forwards gives me an upset stomach so I don't ride it anymore.
I've ridden 3 Boomerangs, and this one is by far the smoothest of them all. I could ride this multiple times, except that my beloved Screamin Eagle is right next door. I rode this ride when it was at Six Flags over Texas, then again at St Louis. It's transport didn't hurt it. It's still a very smooth ride.
It seems to brake slower than the one in Walibi Holland. On that one, only about 2/3 of the train rolls through the station before rolling back, making it quite dizzying. I think they can regulate the brake force, so why they don't let it roll a little bit further like it does here (the whole train goes out of the station), I don't know.
Other theme parks have Vekoma boomerang coasters. Other Six Flags parks that have boomerang coasters... New England has 2: Flashback is a traditional boomerang and Goliath (SFMM's former Deja-Vu) is a giant inverted boomerang. Discovery Kingdom, Mexico, and Fiesta Texas each have a traditional boomerang. Other Six Flags owned parks... La Ronde (in Canada) has La Boomerang, which is a traditional boomerang... Great Escape has a traditional boomerang.
I've never ridden a boomerang type coaster, but they look like fun. I rode the new Twist n Shout coaster at Family Kingdom down at Myrtle Beach, SC last week. It was nice & smooth. It's your basic Wild Mouse coaster, and it has ' 57 Chevrolet cars for the coaster cars. I like the Swamp Fox a tad better though. lol
This is one of the best Boomerangs around. I really enjoyed it and so did my sister, we both voted it as the smoothest Boomerang compared to others around the u s.
A lot of people get disappointed when coasters are reused at their local park, but at least it offers variety & an extra ride they never had before. This is a fairly decent ride and I actually talked to other park visitors who liked this one better than Mr. Freeze, though Mr. Freeze & the Boss are MY favorites from the park.
I was there earlier this year, and for whatever reason they set a new rule law on all rollor coasters that cameras were not allowed on the rides, and violating this rule would end in immediate ejection of the park and suspension of your six flags season pass
Hey ThemeParkAdventure, how do you get permission to record Haunted attractions and coasters at Six Flags? I'm going this Saturday and I am planning on recording all the mazes. Thanks, I enjoy watching your HHN and Knott's Scary Farm coverage. You guys deserve to be #1 on UA-cam. ;)
The first time I rode it, they pulled us back and we sat there for a few minutes in utter anticipation and had no idea when it would go. Scariest moment of my life.
Wow, classic six flags move. Take an old clone ride from a park and relocate it,then market as NEW and EXITING! Seems like they don't put much effort into their smaller parks. I mean really how long has it been since St. Louis got a unique coaster of their own?
thats probably the smoothest boomerang footage I've ever seen
@Boston Martinez it was “Flashback” there and pretty rough from what I remember. Boomerangs are literally everywhere and with parks having much better coasters generally that have one I’ll usually skip them or ride it first.
Man...I miss this ride...used to be at six flags over Texas.....well...we know atleast its being used for enjoyment of others :)
It was called Flashback at Six Flags over Texas
Bruh its at world of fun
There is one at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio at least.
I live in lake st louis and were by st Louis and I went on that ride I feel bad you dont have it anymore..
SkullZGamer 678 there’s the same model of coaster at worlds of fun, but it’s a different roller coaster
I love how these rides don't faze them😂'Owh look at that view on the park' as there going upside down😂👏
😂 lol
That used to be flashback at six flags over texas
I rode this yesterday, it was my first real rollercoaster since I was scared of them. Turns out I loved it! I rode the Goliath, then the Iron Rattler after it was amazing!
Myah Jones
You went to the one in sanintonio
My favorite is the roed runner
I rode this Sunday! Didn't think it would be all that, plus it looked slow.. but it was amazing.. loved it.
I'm going to Six Flags St. Louis on July 7. I'm so excited. Can't wait. I think I'm gonna ride every roller coaster in the park.
Brandon Hirsch well there's only nine if them and none of them are that outstanding except for Maybe American thunder or Mr freeze reverse blast though that was cloned from six flags over texas
Cool
This ride was the flashback at six flags over Texas before it was disassembled for the new sky screamer.
I rode this today. I just sit in a chair and I still feel upside down
Going to Six Flags is on my bucket list when Covid-19 is over.
I love the sight of a brand-spanking new Boomerang coaster!
this used to be the flashback at six flags over texas :(
Insane Coaster Wars Season Two starts on Sunday! Watch the trailer here: /watch?v=-ExO6nlxx9Q Be sure to leave a comment!
im going this weekend again so i can finally ride this! ive been waiting forevet!!
It allows the parks maintenance staff not only increase the speed of the initial lift but also allows them to gently lower the catch car that lifts the train, so there is no more "clunking" on the way down.

And it’s located all over the world
OMG I was there like 2 times this week. When was this recorded !!!?
I loooove this ride!! It's one of my favorites next to Mr.Freeze and Batman
There is like 50 of them in a variety of parks! There is one in Hershey Park!
hi! im from the Philippines and we have this ride too at enchanted kingdom in Sta. Rosa Laguna we call it space shuttle
this ride is a cheap ride that almost every country has
Awe. I will miss the flashback. Was one of my faves as a kid.
The colors of this ride are amazing!
I could of been one of the first people to rude on the boomerang,I went there when it first opened
*ride*
Hello
Hey man! Don’t be rude to the Boomerang!
It's from Six Flags Over Texas. They moved it to St. Louis to make room for a new ride. Enjoy it 'cause I miss this ride
Looks like the smoothest Boomerang coaster!
Yeah, Sea Serpent was the first Boomerang opened, of the 45 that are active today. You guys have a pretty good amusement park, I need to get over there some time.
We also have one of these in Denmark. It's just one of those under rail hanging coasters thingy. It's called ''Tornado''.
haha yes. This ride type is extremely common. You'll find Vekoma Boomerang coasters in absolutely loads of theme parks.
From all the boomerang rides that I watched this one looks more smoother
I miss this ride!! I remember riding this as a kid and almost every time I went. Bring it back to Six Flags Over Texas! :(
superman's not usually broken down, it's the wind that whips around the cables high up. It's got a lot of issues because it was moved up from texas, it'll take a bit to work on it and bring down the down time
Going to six flags tomorrow!super excited!
I remember riding this at Six Flags Over Texas. It was called Flashback, and, in 2013, they relocated it to Six Flags St. Louis.
In belgium, there is also a boomerang in Bellewaerde park. It was the first of its kind.
Did You Know:
This ride was originally called Flashback, and was located at Six Flags Over Texas. However, they moved it to Six Flags St. Louis which gave them room to build the Texas Sky Screamer.
Thanks for going to my hometown of St. Louis
just rode it yesterday, smooth and fun as can be
K
Best looking boomerang I have ever seen. --- I honestly just moved to Missouri and had no idea there was a SF in stl.
That one guy is like there is that ride way over there and there is that ride over here, a beautiful theme park! We have 9 coasters now... Like he wasn't really focused on the ride as much as pointing out every damn ride in the park

Same. Waited 1 hour for this during fright frest.
+X. Sariyah .X That was also my first roller coaster that goes upside down!
+OnsideMist - Gaming me to
Nina this was my first upside down coaster lol
Awe. Lol im glad u feel so passionately about it.
I remember having to sit in a seat where a sweaty old man sat on this ride, lol. I tried my best to avoid the seat.
Im coming this sunday!!!! Cant wait to ride this!!!!!!
Wow, I did not know that! I remember riding it the first year it opened also at Morey's. It's a good coaster, but just something about going backwards after all those loops forwards gives me an upset stomach so I don't ride it anymore.
Does this one hurt as much as the Ninja, since they are pretty much the same design of coaster?
It's in Eureka, MO just outside of St. Louis on I-44.
I like how the wheels "squeak". I don't know if there's an actual term for it or if it means anything but it's just kind of cool.
the roller coaster was in Brazil, playcenter park, I was already in Brazil on a family trip there ahaha yeap
This one was actually the Flashback in Six Flags over Texas, then was moved over the winter.
"Great ride. Smooth as can be." All that head banging in the cobra roll suggests otherwise. XD
It's still smoother than a lot of other Boomerang coasters to be honest.
BlueDragon992 trust me go watch other Boomerang videos. This one looks wayyyy smoother. The other ones look like hell.

I went on this ride today, screamed my freaking heart out, it felt like my heart was the thing I was going to throw up since I didnt eat that morning😂
So awesome. You guys are going to all parks to try out coasters. I want that 2
We got American Thunder in 2008 and the last one before that was in 2000. I'm hoping we either get Iron Horse for the Boss or a hyper before 2016.
WOW, you guys work fast, this thing opened just last week.
Other theme parks have Vekoma boomerang coasters. Other Six Flags parks that have boomerang coasters... This ride looks similar, theres one in the philippines but its called space shuttle and the track color is red
I like the Swamp Fox a tad better though. lol
I lived closest to the Gurnee park for most of my life, but I am a huge fan of the St. Louis one! Too bad I only got one chance to go!
How can that ever get so better and better and better😀😀😀
The hydraulic motors were replaced by electric ones, which actually made the ride smooth. SFSTL really polished up this ride.
This will forever be Flashback.
Six flags plops one of those at every park try own, just with different paint and name, it's not a bad ride and it is everywhere.
This is one of the best Boomerangs around. I really enjoyed it and so did my sister, we both voted it as the smoothest Boomerang compared to others around the u s.
When did they get this ride??? It looks awesome!
This used to be the Flashback at Six Flags Over Texas before SFOT replaced it (and Texas Chute-Out) with Texas Sky Screamer.
A lot of people get disappointed when coasters are reused at their local park, but at least it offers variety & an extra ride they never had before. Six flags STL needs to get a good ride in 2014! We haven't gotten a "new" roller coaster in 6 years.
Did you hear that at 2:05
yeah carowinds has one just like it it's called carolina cobra.. its awesome!
Hey ThemeParkAdventure, how do you get permission to record Haunted attractions and coasters at Six Flags? I'm going this Saturday and I am planning on recording all the mazes. Thanks, I enjoy watching your HHN and Knott's Scary Farm coverage. You guys deserve to be #1 on UA-cam. ;)
I've never been on a Vekoma Boomerang, are they rough and unenjoyable or are they smooth and fun?
Smooth and fun, all the way!
Kylie McDonald
Your reply is a year late
No dip
+Psyclone500 TV I even forgot I posted this comment.
The one at La Ronde is rough but really fun too. It's not unenjoyable
In the park of the coast , argentina, there is one exactly like this
jajaaj yo también les pongo cosas en ingles aunque hable español like :D
there are 50+ rides like this....
i wish this ride was still open
yeah why is it closed? i went to go ride it but it is closed. what happened?
GamingDuck -_- it derailed
CoasterPloer WITH PEOPLE ON IT!!
GamingDuck -_- yes a high school group if I recall
I remember reading the news report
CoasterPloer was everybody ok?
Who remembers when this was called Flashback at Six Flags over Texas?
I feel like every theme park at one point in time had one of these
Don't they have this at Knotts Barry Farm in California?
Yes, there are many of them operating around the world.
I was there yesterday and it was closed. It gets closed too much! I hope it's open next Friday for my birthday(:
We had to get this......It broke down for like 3 days within it's first week or so, we needed something better.
Because it is new, is it smooth (unlike EVERY other boomerang coaster except Hersheypark's)
I love rides which suddenly go fast not ones with chains
I cant wait to get on that this saturday
A lot of parks have this ride, it is one of the most build designs ever... I do think speed of sound is the best one though
This ride is always closed here.... it replaced one of my favorites - the bumper cars.
This was my first upside ride, definitely fun! But it hurts your head because your head starts flying all around
We have one in baton rouge louisiana at blue bayou and dixie landin park called the ragin cajun that's a boomerang coaster
What is going on with the audio at the beginning?
The first time I rode it, they pulled us back and we sat there for a few minutes in utter anticipation and had no idea when it would go. Scariest moment of my life.
They have one like this in Canada's Wonderland called " The Bat" :)
This looks waaay more wicked though!! AWESOME!
Wow, classic six flags move. Take an old clone ride from a park and relocate it,then market as NEW and EXITING! Seems like they don't put much effort into their smaller parks. I mean really how long has it been since St. Louis got a unique coaster of their own?
Im going on one just like that a cleethorps pleasure island do u feel going upside down??
Just went today, ride is closed for 2-3 weeks since something broke on the ride apparently!
this ride is also at worlds of fun in Kansas and it is always breaking down
We have one here in Bristol, CT at Lake Compounce called "Zoomerang"
It's blue and purple :3
Was there July10. It was still shut down.
This is a Vekoma Boomerang model, it is popular at many parks, no one copied anyone. There are just plenty of them out there.
Actually the Bat was built 2 years before this first opened as Flashback at Six Flags Over Texas.
There's one of these at pleasure island, exact same design, same name, went on it7 times in a row
I had seen the parts of it still under construction when I went there a week ago.
