The drift variant wasnt sliding because the rear diff wasnt locked, the had an button for it.
I was pulling my hair out watching him try to slide it and failing miserably.

Not really, i think it's more of a coincidence since it doesn't have the van style config and no parts to make it look like Kebin from Nightride. But maybe we will get those parts in the future, would be pretty awesome!

I better see the superior vehicle known as KEVIN from them. They tried to get it as a hotwheels, I think they'd love to see their own build in a game. Even if it's not official.

Years ago when I worked landscaping at Opryland USA Theme Park, we drove Daihatsu Hijet's which are just like these. We ha the little pick ups and we had some with dump beds.
I had the pleasure of repairing Old Mill Scream (the boat ride). It now lives in WA state as Lumberjack Falls. Still in operation
@6:24 your rear axle is currently "open" meaning the tire with the least grip will spin, which ends up being whichever tire is in the air. Turn the locker on and both tires will spin at the same rate, allowing you to rotate the rear end much easier.

ive always thought kei trucks were so cool, I one of my friends had a honda kei truck and it was 4x4 and it was surprisingly capable (we took it down some light offroad trails and it was pretty good)
They do seem like great little vehicles. It's basically a quad ATV with a truck bed and cab, yeah?

So we had one of these for driving around the flight line when I was in the marine corps. We called it the mighty might. It was governed to 20mph. One fun little thing I learned was if you accelerated really quick then floor the brakes you could get it to do a stoppie. I wonder if they will do it in the game?🤔
from what this sounds like, you were in oki. Driving those around the island is absolutely the way to live imo. I had a friend in the air force stationed over there.

Another tip, this time for car jump arena.. @13:27 pop the transmission back into neutral to decrease the amount of "engine braking" that occurs when you over rev. Over reving until the engine blows will prevent you from achieving your fastest speed.
Pigeon has the engine in front, the Kei trucks are mid engine, that's why the pigeon died, even though the damage was similar.

My neighbour has a daily driver kei van wishfully called a Super Carry. Always a chuckle when I see the name.

My buddy bought a beat up black one with a lift kit and 4x4 with locking differential, we’re currently tearing it down and getting it ready for paint🙂 it’s a Suzuki mini truck (I don’t remember the name)

the Honda Acty, Suzuki Carryall, and Daihatsu Hi-Jet are all basically this vehicle. Also, lots of Japanese Cars have silly names like the Nissan Cedric, Mazda Bongo Friendee, or the Nissan Homy Coach to name a few.

We have a couple of these things tooling around in my town. One's an Isuzu I think, the other a Kei.
It's like a small rolling coffin parked next to an F-150. I'd feel safer in my Polaris Ranger.

The Kevin looks a lot like my Sambar. I've moved many a couch and fridge for friends in that bed. It's longer than the bed on some new F150s.

Wow, the way the cabin of the Shima got pushed _behind_ the engine is insane, Kevin easily has a better crash test rating.
So at this point regarding the Kei Truck mods, we need a Drift Shima and a Race and Drag Kevin. I'd love to see that happen 😯

I’ve seen a kei truck in my town, it’s pretty cute.
This is in my opinion the better/most realistic of the two,
It is very much a copy of the Suzuki Super Carry (also sold as many other things including the Bedford Rascal here in the UK)

In my country this Kei truck is actually exist in real life in real life it is called Suzuki Bolan I only saw two versions one is a kei truck and another one is a Van and it is very used to drop kids to school or for transporting to plains to northern mountains

In my opinion the Shima is better, because it has much more realistic crash damage. The Kevin doesn't squish as hard as irl kei trucks do. But still, both mods are really good

I used to own a little kei truck, a Subaru Sambar to be exact, I had it when they were dirt cheap in Ireland, sad I let it go cause a nice one now it sort like £8k 😅

6:20 the drift config is harder to drift than the normal configs, pretty much unusable for drifting tbh. Hopefully it gets fixed in the future
