You don't have to use the display on the battery. You can see the battery level on the Brose display on the left side of the handlebar. When the color LED is green, the 5 white LEDs indicate battery level in 20% increments. (When the color LED is blue it shows up to 4 dots of power setting.)
Where's your helmet? Lol. I Demo'd a Mosh/City at the Fort Myers Harley shop and they made me put on a pair of oversized rain pants and a helmet to test ride it in their parking lot. I do really like this ebike, and with the "Black Friday" $1000 off it's a no brainer.
The noise is coming from the rear hub that has free wheel feature which allow a rider to spin the pedals and cranks backswards when coasting. This is a useful feature when you are riding and you need to change your footing. All freewheel bikes make that noisee.

Ive swapped saddle on mine as original saddle is horrible
