Looks like Daigo has reduced drastically his bad habit of backing out once he has a life lead and instead stands his ground then keep doing pressure like Bird does.
@@showwhite7320Nah he plays Akira all the time there is little to no advantage in holding things back. If he had some secret sauce he would only practice it offline in training rooms or in person with long time friends.
Quite possibly the greatest and longest running rivalry in FGC history. They are still playing at the highest level 20+ years later.
Daigo fight much more aggressive against Tokido compare to any other opponents, He know the dude too well he don’t need to limit testing
Daigo has been playing a lot lately. Tks for the upload!!!
Ken stand fierce is such an obnoxious normal and I love every second of it.
I’m switching from MK to street fighter and it seems like much more of a footsies and short combo game compared to what I’m used to in MK

Angrybird's ken is daigo's idol so yeah hes been learning alot from Angrybird's matches
Noticing Daigo is getting better with his OD DP reactions to catch fireballs
En realidad se lo copio al mismo Tokido, ellos ya se habían enfrentado hace poco, y tokido le castigo mucho con el shoryuken+
@@SoyelMasnalGonpeople have been using it, not just tokido, he is not some prime tech inventor. The tool is there to be used.
Daigo is getting better and better with Ken, so no one stops.

@2:19 that's just disgusting. I love it!
It was just a back throw 😅
@ForbiddenLinks he meant him catching Tokido's Drive impact.
bro was waiting for this.
Dude is so reassuring to see them pros freezing and dropping combos. Just like the average joe.
Daigo was starting quickl in this set. I was sure he would win. Then Tokido adjusted a bit...game over.
It was two sets man, daigo won the first one.
Is it possible that Daigo lost on purpose? Do pros sometimes lose on purpose so they don't give away their secrets until a tournament?

Daigo is overrated and rarely wins tourneys anymore.
