Akka in north India glass bangle is mandatory for married women. Like tali in south its banles in north. In durga pooja being a brahmin myself my father will bring bangles for us. In few homam the women will wear lakha bangles is arku bagles i guess and tisifool bangles was auspicious. Tisifool is a flower of flaxseed and it was made oit of that. And many more aaka. I being a maithili Bramhan we have a tradition if any married woman visits our house for first time we certainly gift them with bangle and kumkum. If say we don't have new bangles handy we make sure we give them at least money for buying bangles. Now these traditions are fading with modernisation its sad to see you were pleasures to se you both wearing handful of bangles. May you be blessed ever. Most unique videos. Love your videos.
