The mu hose (its single with 2 tips) is the "orange" hose, the sockets are in the "dummy receptors (if connected would be in active) and the line you pointed to was the normal air hose.
I've seen a couple of the Specail paint scheme Norfolk units at Bailey Yard in North Platte while I'm working. Not really sure why, but you see a lot of Norkolk and KCS units here.
Great review as always! Wondering about the "Rubber" MU and accessory hoses. Speculation here, but wondering how these will last over the years and also how they will hold silver paint over the years. Thanks for doing what you do.........
Once again another great video. I also would like to say thank you for the peoples choice award! Its an amazing trophy but wondering where you had it created?🤔. O and a suggestion, maybe go over some dcc decoders and what functiona are available on that decoder. Daniel
It's a beautiful engine, but Athearn really needs to make more stuff for us Guilford modelers( B&M, MEC, ST, and D&H). If Athearn would produce a Genesis GP7 and GP9 in Guilford/ST paint, I'd buy one no questions asked. Only atlas made those GP7s way back. The atlas one are overvalued and very hard to find on eBay.
wow James, either your camera is better or the details on the loco are super sharp. looks awesome. unibrow was a nice comparison. lol. detail behind the cab just has me in awe. part that sits out and the venting. , just what i really liked. and I have to say. thanks for this. might just be one I add to my collection now. and I don't do NS. grrrrr,,
Athearn is one of the Kings Of HO scale they hopefully will continue on future models keep lighting the number boards. Scale trains is a new company but Ex Athearn guys so the details are there for sure and it’s excellent stuff some little issues here and there but they have caused Athearn to step their game up which is good for us guys spending all this money on these trains. As for Bowser I cannot say much about them I do have 1 model by them but if your into newer more now era of trains then Athearn and Scale Trains are the big dogs on the block but as I mentioned a lot of Athearn has no lit number boards and some of the stuff still on the market has old bulbs not LEDs in them. The newer stuff they are putting out is coming with LEDs but still no lit number boards so if that’s a issue then you may want to wait for Scale Trains to bring out what your looking for.
In a rare editing mistake, I forgot to cut out 5:12 to 5:48. So you can skip that unless you just like the sound of a prime mover's idle....
Oh please, it sounds WONDERFUL
I might have to cop myself that the horn is 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for your service James
Thank you for telling me I really like it
What do you mind watching my videos about Amtrak
I want to be able to get all sounds
What kinda controller do I need
Very nice quality engine, thanks for the review
I got mine a couple of weeks ago, and I love it! Runs great, looks great, and sounds great too. As always, wonderful review, James!
Very cool video. That is a neat engine and paint scheme too. Thank you for sharing.
Looks and sounds good.
Nice review for another cool loco James! Cheers, Dan
All we need on it now is a P3 horn that sounds like a dog wistle

Great review.
Nice! On the running trains session, hopefully NS 1071, 1072, 8025, 8098, 8099, 8103, and 8114 will make appearances, specifically.
From watching your video you definitely got a brand new subscriber:) and ps I think I’ll actually get this train
I got to say james, the horn sounds dead on. Great review, god bless you and yours buddy.
Awesome model! Looking forward to getting this and the first responders unit in the near future.
Looks like a really nice unit.
Just got a deal on eBay for like 186.00 Lucky me
Just got mine around Christmas and it's a great locomotive! I also saw this locomotive in Galesburg Illinois Back in September 16 2017
I remember when standard Athearn locomotive packaging was a lift-off box lid and some gray foam inserts.
I just bought this locomotive and im sure i wont be disappointed!
I know I won't be disappointed can't wait to see it run at the club.
They should've made the horn fouled
Good Athearn Genesis loco James!
Did you know about the sweepstake that model railroadee Mag is hosting you can win a $1000 woodland senics gift card/coupon or a $500 walthers coupon
I've seen a couple of the Specail paint scheme Norfolk units at Bailey Yard in North Platte while I'm working. Not really sure why, but you see a lot of Norkolk and KCS units here.
That is the best train in my opinion
I wish that NS would just own up and fix the air pressure for the horn on these things. There just destroying horns.
Great video! Selling any of those GACX Hoppers?
nope sorry. I'm a full blown train hoarder.
Great review as always! Wondering about the "Rubber" MU and accessory hoses. Speculation here, but wondering how these will last over the years and also how they will hold silver paint over the years. Thanks for doing what you do.........
Added to cart nice Locomotive
Just like the Union Pacific 1943, these will probably wind up in the hands of club members
Yep, im getting these for christmas, 911 and 6920
Beautiful locomotive, and James you don't make editing mistakes....😀

great review on the SD60E James did you notice with the dimmer and cab chatter the light was flickering with the voices all in all great vid
Hey I’ve got a question, what camera do you use?
Nice review, quick. question, how does Bowser compare t Athearn and Scale Trains? Thanks and God Bless.

Not my favorite scheme, the 911 is even worse looking imo
