Dallon's voice sounds the same here as it does during numerous live performances. I WISH they were more popular. Panic! is my favorite band and I love Dallon as an addition, but from what I've heard from the Brobecks, I wish that he never would have left.
I'm having an episode of depression right now and for some reason I came to this album despite not having listened to it much before. I just really love Dallon Weekes and this is really helping. So thanks, Brobecks.
Ryden! At The Disco by Fall Out Boy yeah I don't understand it but this song feels like deja vu for some reason- like I used to listen to this all the time but I also know I've never heard it in my childhood
My mom used to play this song all the time, and I didn't know who it was by, but when I listened to it for the first time 2 months ago the tune sounded so familiar and I asked my mom if she knew the song and she said yes
tw//sa I used to love this song so much, it was honestly my favorite song on this album. I remember me and my ex-girlfriend listened to it all the time. The relationship was going good at first, as most shiny, new relationships do. But over time she revealed to me who she really was, but she did it in a way where I didn't acknowledge that she was changing. Mainly because I believed that I couldn't go on without her. I'll spare you all the graphic details, but she would say horrible things to me and she would touch my where I didn't want to be touched even when I told her to stop. I haven't listened to this song since that time, which was in 2018-2019. I'm currently listening to it right now with tears in my eyes. I'm not going to let her be a part of my life anymore. I'm going to try and learn to love this song again.
This reminds me of Do You by Spoon! Same wistful feelings of summer. Same bittersweet chords (Emaj7 and Amaj7). That's why it sounds nostalgic: it's major and minor, happy and sad at the same time.
Okay lots of people are saying that they feel like they knew this song before and I feels that too. This is so weird. Like, it seems like one of those songs that was played a lot in my childhood but I know that it wasn't? I don't know. Anybody else?
Okay I'm not the biggest Panic fan, I just love brendon's voice and really enjoy many of their songs but couldnt tell which one is Dallon and which is Kenny if you asked, that's how much ı know about p!atd and then a few days ago I came across this song and loved it and I was literally shocked when I realized it's Dallon from panic. now I'm sitting in my room listening to the whole album loud enough to wake up my niece sleeping in the room next door, getting all frustrated and sad about why on earth this man almost gave up on music and is now 'a touring member' and a back vocal singing irrelevant stuff on the background of the songs I love of panic.I'm not saying he's better than Brandon but he's just too good to be where he is now and it's just not fair.
He's doing better now. Panic! wasn't a healthy place for him. Whatever went on between him and Brendon that made him be demoted to a touring member, no one knows but he was obviously already stressed being with them ever since he was demoted and Death of a bachelor was released. Obviously, Brendon wants to be a moody teenager and make music on his own (I don't think he's quite realized yet that to be a band you need more than one person. It's also rumored Dall and Bren were fighting over the music production) so I'm glad Dallon got out of that. He deserves way more attention than just being a backup singer. The first time I heard him, my jaw dropped and I got tears in my eyes because I couldn't believe a man with this much vocal talent was a BACKUP SINGER. Definitely wasn't fair how he was treated the last few years he was in Panic! but that time is over and he's got IDKHBTFM with Ryan so all is good.
I JUST FIGURED OUT WHY THIS SONG RESONATES SO HARD WITH ME AND MAKES ME SAD BUT LIKE REALLY HAPPY AND NOSTALGIC AT THE SAME TIME AJXBSJUvHh I think it’s because the lyrics say “I’m in hell and I’ve got to tell somebody now” it’s kinda like that occasional rough time you go through and like you really wanna tell someone about it but you don’t wanna talk about it the same time and it’s really contradictory but it resonates so much iT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW
I also relate to this song for similar reasons. I have been struggling mentally for around a year, but it’s so tough to tell anyone, even if i know i should.
Wrong this version = much better, even though its a little produced and it does not have the raw produced power and punch the original had. It still rocks and his voice is much clearer and awesome, music is more mastered and has added in key board licks/riffs but i just noticed that the guitars sound a little off tune because of the delay used in the recording. Dallon is the shit.
There’s something so freaking weird about this song. It makes me feel like, I dunno how to put it?? It makes me not want to exist. That’s literally how nostalgic it is. But in a good way, I adore this song. It makes me feel like the pit of my stomach is sinking, kind of like when you’re nervous or when something you didn’t want to happen just happens and your stomach does the weird thing where it feels like you’re falling. It’s so amazing how a song can make you feel multiple things, wether it be intentional or not. His voice is so pleasant and all in all, this song is amazing and seriously, what a freaking awesome song. It’s a shame they broke up but Dallon is pursuing other things with his music career and that’s awesome.
ua-cam.com/video/3Fzi4lBzqIg/v-deo.html this version? I thought that as well. A lot of people are saying this song makes them feel nostalgic but they've never heard it before. Maybe their brain is remembering the Scooby-Doo theme
I'm amazed of all of the comments about feeling nostalgia when hearing this song. It hits me that way too. Sort of reminds me of Infinity on High era of Fallout Boy (which has always made me feel nostalgic as well).
To the 16 dislikes, what the heck is wrong with you? Do you not like music? Don’t hate on amazing things. Go listen to your off beat screeches and leave us alone
This sounds like how summer feels
the intro is the best u cant convince me otherwise
Mia Standen yep

This reminds me of Do You by Spoon! Same wistful feelings of summer. Same bittersweet chords (Emaj7 and Amaj7). That's why it sounds nostalgic: it's major and minor, happy and sad at the same time.
Dude i heard this song before when i was little and i dont know from where?!?!

This version isn't horrible, I'd just prefer the original.

He was in the middle of his mandatory two year missions trip as a member of the LDS.
I'm playing this song in my class of rock thing I'm doing. I'm keyboard. maybe someone else in my class will find this comment?
Okay lots of people are saying that they feel like they knew this song before and I feels that too. This is so weird. Like, it seems like one of those songs that was played a lot in my childhood but I know that it wasn't? I don't know. Anybody else?

Whats worse is Dallon really thinks so low of himself. It breaks my heart that he doesnt know how amazing he is
A year late but he has a new band! It's called I don't know how but they found me, and they're great!!
He's doing better now. Panic! wasn't a healthy place for him. augustana I totally agree
I'm being completely honest sometimes I like Dallon's voice better but I do think Brendon is better at songwriting.
ridiculously catchy

Hey kids hey kids can you rock and roll? Tell me. (yeah!) yeah? (yeah!) alright let's go!
I love this song sm and idk why
I like the older version more, but I lovvee Dallon
lmao this is kinda like that version of the scooby doo theme song that came with one of the reboots and i'm living for it
ua-cam.com/video/3Fzi4lBzqIg/v-deo.html this version? I thought that as well. A lot of people are saying this song makes them feel nostalgic but they've never heard it before. Maybe their brain is remembering the Scooby-Doo theme
i like this version better :D the old one still kicks ass though :D
DALLON DON'T GET RUN OVER
Does the "I'm in hell I've got to tell somebody now" kind of remind anybody else at the Scooby-Doo theme? ua-cam.com/video/3Fzi4lBzqIg/v-deo.html
I heard this before I started listening to the brobecks cause remember yelling “ HEY KIDS HEY KIDS CAN YOU ROCK AND ROLL? “ over and over again
This version is way better than the original. What are you all talking about?
I'm amazed of all of the comments about feeling nostalgia when hearing this song. It hits me that way too. Sort of reminds me of Infinity on High era of Fallout Boy (which has always made me feel nostalgic as well).
Is it without looking or without a care??? In the description, it says without looking but in another video, it says without a care
Tumid Star I believe it's "without looking" bc it's followed by "either way" so that would make more sense
To the 16 dislikes, what the heck is wrong with you? Do you not like music? Don’t hate on amazing things. Go listen to your off beat screeches and leave us alone
The keyboard bits sound a bit like Passion Pit's Take a Walk. I wonder if Passion Pit liked the Brobecks
irrelevant but this reminds me of killjoys (the geeway comic not the show)
WHAT I'VE HEARD THIS BEFORE WHERE
Unpopular opinion, this is better than the Goodnight and have a pleasent tomorrow version
Either way, there is no denying both albums are good in their own way
Tanis brought me here
I went to an idk concert a month ago and this is the first song they played and now I'm sad lmao
Welp I’m back
@WindowToYourMotives I completely agree. While this is still a good version, I still prefer the "Goodnight, and Have a Pleasant Tomorrow" version.
@santosisaboss i finally got around to posting the original, it's on my channel. :D
@pingo9191 i finally got around to posting the original, it's on my channel. :D
why I got the feeling that i heard that before god
