    The Black Templars listen to this when they are sharpening their blades, loading their Boltguns and fueling the Holy Heavy Flamers for their next crusade.

    god another AI generated slop...

    • @blackcellaudio
      @blackcellaudio  3 дні тому +1

      The image? There is no AI use in the music, which I hope is the main attraction here, you know, being a music channel.

      @@blackcellaudio Yes, I was talking about the image. Why not just use regular visualiser even if simple?

    • @blackcellaudio
      @blackcellaudio  3 дні тому

      @ by visualiser you mean a regular program that generates an image?
      Because alternative options would be to do the art myself, which I can do but with writing the music I don't have the time or energy for. To pay an artist, the channel does not make nearly enough money for that. To use existing art, I don't like the vibe of nearly all existing 40K artwork.
      So, as I figure it's just something to set a vibe whilst people listen to the music I do use it. It is never going to be amazing, or lore accurate but I do try and make sure of some things, like adding batwings to Sevatar's armour in photoshop etc. If you think it's slop that is of course perfectly valid! It is not designed to trick any 40K fans, I hope people stay for the music, that is all.
      I was wondering if you were meaning the music sorry as many SUNO based 40K music channels are popping up and these pieces are obviously not that. Thankfully only one person to my knowledge in the history of this channel has asked if the music is computer generated (so I hope the effort is pretty self evident)

      @ By "visualiser", I mean music visualiser. Every time I see AI being used in music videos it makes me wonder why not just do a music visualiser. They're not difficult to pull off, nor expensive, I even saw free programs that do just that. Yet people prefer to pay to an AI to make crude image for them, built off of a stolen data...
      When I saw the image in full and realized it's AI, that was my first thought, that the music will also be AI generated and wanted to click off, but they are quite easy to differenciate. AI music generators can't produce sounds this clean. And you are right, that the music is the main goal of it, but then if that's the case, why pay to an AI to generate hundreths of extremely generic and quite honestly ugly looking images, off of which maybe 3 will be in acceptable state? If it's supposedly not that important, why go this way?

    • @blackcellaudio
      @blackcellaudio  3 дні тому

      @@Furebel There is a music visualiser included in all of the videos I put out, so yes I can and do add exactly that. Why not just have a moving spectrum visualiser on a blank screen? Because I think it's boring frankly and I choose to add a bit of scene setting.
      Supposedly not that important? Suggesting I'm being dishonest about the main creative purpose of this channel? The moral question aside, as far as I can tell your question is why would I choose to pay to get ugly images generated? Because I don't think they are necessarily all as ugly or as generic as you suggest (you have presented an opinion on aesthetics that you feel otherwise which is perfectly valid); and because I think its more fun and engaging to at least have some visual mark which can anchor the music.
      Maybe people just minimise the screen when playing the music, in which case it makes no difference or maybe they leave it up and it's just there as that vibe marker. Like I said, it's not there as a trick (if people ask then I tell them the process), and as the only really disparaging comment this channel has had in all it's time up, I don't believe it leads people to assume the music is AI generated, nor seems to annoy them in quite the way it has you.
      If the point is to make a moral comment on the use of generated images, then your perfectly right to feel negative and really whatever way you want, algorithmic learning essentially googles really fast and then compiles that info in some specific way, so it is cheating, particularly when data has been acquired in ways that violate intellectual copyright. I'd suggest you direct that frustration elsewhere though as there are numerous 40K channels that earn far more money than this one, using ALL AI generated assets (AND claiming that they wrote or created the "artwork" when the entire process has required not even a shred of actual creativity).
      If the point is to question why myself in particular has decided to add imagery to showcase the music then what do you want me to say? I love writing this music, I put a ridiculous amount of time and energy into music composition in general and can put it out into the world in whatever way I want. This is not the only avenue for music I pursue and certainly not the one that earns me the most money or listeners, this I do purely for the fun of it because I find the setting exciting and inspiring, listeners will either come and find enjoyment sharing in that or they won't. Simple as.
