Crazy to think Mike Pollock has been voicing Dr. Eggman for 20 years and is still going strong. He’s easily my favorite VA for Eggman. I would definitely like to meet him someday. He seems like a genuinely nice person.
He was so sweet! Like after the interview was done he wanted to talk more about stuff to do in Texas but he had a panel to get to.

Every Robotnik/Eggman is great but Mike is my favorite. I love the episode when Eggman and Amy become friends over that dog board game, he can want to take over the world and destroy everyone one moment and then the next he is a silly doof that just wants some friends.
Sonic Boom Eggman sits next to Dr Drakken from Kim Possible as my two favorite comical cartoon villains ever.
Mike is perfect as Eggman. Jim Cummings and Deem Bristow were great, but Mike can't be topped. Especially in Sonic Boom. That was the best Sonic cartoon, after all.
Yes! Another person agrees with us! Although I really enjoyed Jim Cummings’ Robotnik too. They all portrayed him well in different ways, but considering Mike has so much range for comedic Eggman and sinister Eggman, he’s the best, imo.
So amazing that Mike Pollock is still going strong as the voice of Doctor Eggman he is my all time favorite voice actor for Sonic’s arch enemy and I love him as Ella the maid in Sonic X thanks for sharing this brilliant interview and all of your other amazing interviews with the other voice actors you have interviewed really enjoyed watching them 👍❤️

When the late Deem Bristow couldn't voice Eggman anymore, Mike Pollock has been the perfect choice of who should be the repacement actor of Sonic's iconic arch-nemisis evil scientist. I really like the mix of seriousness and comedy that he has for Eggman, and that he seems to be enough of a sound-alike to that character's pervious VA. So I'm glad that he got cast in for that roll.
I wish those sonic boom interviews saw the day 😭
