Next season, Lord willing, of course, I want to fly out and do a video with you on moving bees into the aaaamands, and of course have you bring me by some of those taco trucks. Of course I'll be there to work as well, but shooting a little video and eating real tacos will be the cherry on top....
Mike you make it out here and we will get you some awesome almond pollination content. Semi trucks, forklifts, late nights, tacos and fun moving bees into trees. Let’s talk closer to plan it right Mike 🙌🏼
It’s coming my friend! Spring time in your area before you know it. What do you have planned with your bees this spring? Enjoy the tacos Scott😃 What’s your favorite?
@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper yes sir! Hoping to raise my own queens for splits this year. Never had a taco I didn’t like but if I can only order one kind forever it’s pot roast -birrio? I think it’s called. Would definitely try the ones you had if I ever see them.

We where out in Modesto and Medera area in November and the second week of January prepping hives for almonds. It was my first year out there and it was amazing. I can see why you love your career. Looking forward to next year!
Wow ! Pollination sounds lucrative. I’m glad that commercial beekeepers are United in taking care of the almond growers. Those orchards are HUGE! Good bee coverage is a must for sure . You provide some really good info and logistics of pollination. Keep up this great work ! Doing good !
Yes Christian the pollination can be worth wild if one is up for the hard work to get the bees looking good for this big event. Our agriculture is very important and it’s important for everyone to work together in order to have a successful pollination. We appreciate the great feedback and thank you for the support by watching and commenting on videos. The engagement really helps our content spread to a bigger audience. We love sharing what we do
The entire process is so fascinating! Those orchards are huge. Thanks for bringing us along. Definitely on our radar to send some bees out that way one of these days.
Dawn, it’s a lot of work and long night working the girl up to this point. If you get the opportunity to jump on a semi with others it will definitely help your girls blow up with population and be another Avenue of revenue to help grow your guys apiary. If you all ever have any questions reach out through email or give us a call🤙🏼
Seeing Bruce load his up and now seeing you in the orchards is great. I need to make it out next year or the year after, would be awesome to just be a shadow and watch this process. Man, we don’t get Tacos like that. .

We call the pig intestine hogmaw over here in WV. I love watching these and I am considering doing the almond pollination probably within the next 3-4 years. I'm looking at expanding to a commercial beekeeper status with 250-500 hives. Thanks for the video sir! I'm gonna go grab lunch ha!
Hogmaw!? I’ve heard of that before. How is that prepared? I really enjoy sharing pollination videos with you all, just a portion of what we do. You will get to your goals in no time with some good hard work and determination my friend 💪🏼 Now let’s eat! Thinking about all the hard work in doing increases with hives makes me hungry 😆
Thanks for all your videos, one question l hear a lot of coments on how almond pollination is hard on bees any comment on why that would be or not ,and if they were coming out of the northern climate would that be problem?

Curious about how large these orchards are as far as acreage? Those tacos that you inhaled looked delicious, but not sure about what was in them! Maybe dont tell me!
This orchard should be about 1000 acres. It’s separated into 2 blocks. Industry standards are typically 2 hives per 1 planted acre. The tacos were extremely delicious and that’s all I will say😅
I would definitely entertain the idea. I am very careful who I broker from. I have a good standing relationship with the people I provide pollination for that I bring quality to ensure they are pleased with the service they want and need.
Depends on the beekeepers needs. The beekeeper can fly out or if he wants the broker will with a fee from the broker. Many different terms and details can be worked out between both.
Jose, I owe you one! You shouldn’t have eaten the tocos in the video! Theres an old southern saying “you flung a craving on me” and I can’t go find a food truck today. We have some around B’ham that serves tocos but probably not as good as those. Is the one with the intestines made from what southerner’s calls Chitlins?
Hi Bill, great idea! Forgot to put that into the description on this one. The film was shot 2 weeks ago. Bees have all been placed now and buds are flowering up here in Northern California.

Is there a shortage of pollination services

Keep these coming. I know zero about bees in the almonds. Is there a nectar flow at all to capitalize on or just strictly for pollinating ?

Because they shake the L out of them
