Installed the 8192 in one of my customers house and works very nice. They needed to pressurize the home,especially during fire place operation. Very neat piece of equipment
I have the 8126x on my air conditioner in my attic and the orange knob is on closed and the panel set up to the side of it reads off. My husband is out of state and I’m having horrible condensation all over my system in the attic and mold growth in my kitchen downstairs. I live in the Houston Texas area . Should the setting be set this way? Or should they be on and open? Thank you

Thank you for contacting Aprilaire! The damper indicator arrow is only there to show how far the damper is open. This can be changed with the black thumb screw on the damper (depending on how old the damper is). Under most circumstances a homeowner does not need to worry about changing this as it depends on the static pressure of your HVAC system - only a contractor would know this information and should be adjusting how far the damper opens. If you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to assist.
So I live in zone 3 and my house came installed with the 8140 by the builder. How come they chose this model and is it not going to work bc it isn't zones for 3??

At 3:00 what is the orange dial for? Should it always be set to “closed”?
