And as an all rounder main, if you're not helping physically in the fight you're dead weight to me. So it's literally just you following me around for 5 minutes so that not even a tenth of my hp is restored💀
I think the issue is it's hard to trust supports in solo, same with finding who is going to carry. Trust me I find myself walking away from my supports but then realize oh they are trying to heal that's rare. 😂

I think that perhaps pick and ban may be enough, if you see a Clefable you can use an antihealing item to counter it. Many Sp. Attackers can run it easily.
The actual issue with clefable Is gravity wich can render lots of mons usseles, of course the healing Is great but the CC Is brutal even with follow me

It's true. But Res. Guard on Clefable slightly counters Cursed items, which are great, still aren't really strong enough to counter his healing. You can still get the job done, you're team is just a bit less tanky in a fight..
Honestly I get why people think gravity is overpowered but they need to realize how it leaves Clefable exposed. She can heal a lot for sure and stay alive for a while, but her healing isn't enough to outheal burst damage and high dps characters can out damage it late game. Plus while it leaves mons like Buzzwole and Scizor pretty much useless, Clef still really vulnerable to most speedsters and a good majority of all-rounders just because their main damage moves aren't dashes. Plus let's not forget dashes that make you unstoppable can't reliability be stopped by gravity, only if their users were already in it when the move came off cool down. And yeah, gravity is a pretty dumb move all things considered. A necessary mechanic for a moba like unite, but it could have been implemented in a better way in a mon with a less linear kit. It's a shame too because follow me is still an amazing move even if it has a way lower pick rate than gravity, it still has a higher win rate, and it just complements Clef kit so well. 😊
The other problem is, Healer is the least you would expect on a fight. Because most of the time, either the whole enemy team is 3 hinders, 2 dps. Or 2 dps 1 burst 2 hinders. Either way, the chance is still high to meet a healer or two, but the mentality to deal more damage than do more annoyance is quiet a decission. Maybe in weeks or months we would had a healer meta, then it would be a "must" option.
As a person who use lots of pokemon with dash skills, mean look umbreon is a bigger problem for me than gravity. Mean look just locks you down so ridiculously long. And being a point and click doesnt make it easier
I play clefairy all the time and i agree it's so powerful 😭 you can snowball so hard that you can kill the enemy's on their pads after a while because you become a walking healing pad for your allies ☠️😭
I mean, i would love for gravity not to be freaking genormous and be active frame 1 because it happened to me so many times that I time down gravity just to retaliate on its bad usage and getting gravitied in it while dashing out for example as zoroark and getting still caught by the stun because all the area seems to be active at the same time before the animation comes completely out and in late game is fucking massive.
remember clefable can't aim gravity so if you can find a way to poke it to use gravity you should be fine but that's easier said that done without an eject and Zoro really wants full heal
I think that Clef is a problem that sorts itself out pretty quick with draft, its healing is over time and not all at once so you can burst down its teammates, and it’s hindered significantly by curse items. You can play around a Clef if you know it’s coming, it’s much harder to fight blind

High pick rate doesn’t correlate 100% with being broken. Also, part of me really thinks that the bigger issue is exp share, which allows supports to boost their lane partners into the stratosphere while still being able to keep up with exp and stacks enough to function. Part of “Clefable is braindead to play” is that Clefable will rarely be in a hard losing position before first objective due to exp share.
Clefable is my favorite support. Thanks for the video. I feel like she is a big part of why I made it master's last season with the mewtwo y meta. Her healing is awesome.
Cris I love your videos but bro stop hating on Supports!!! We all know how much you love doing damage and hate everything that has to do with heals. If it were up to you there wouldn't be any healers in the game!! All you need is one enemy player to use a Curse - Anti Heal Item and your healing isn't as high... or having all of your team around you as you heal. And an anti-dash mechanic is good so that speedsters can't just dive in and demolish at will... they have to play around the mechanic! I think every time you talk about a healing pokemon it is subsequently nerfed! Blissey nerfed... Mr. Mime nerfed... Eldegoss nerfed... healing continues to be nerfed... damage increased and CC interrupts increased.Anyways thanks for the vids and Stop being a healer hater!!
Clefable is justified for being OP healer. Its move set is simplistic and effective. On top of being a gatekeeper for most abusers using OP other mons that are worse than Clefable
This Pokemon is atleast killable in soloque game but when you see it in 5 man it's very painful to play against it and you need be so hi lvl that u can out damage the heal or u can't win the game even if enemy team try to thorw the game i am surprised that this Pokemon didn't get a nerf in next patch 😢
I enjoy Clefable. She's a pocket menace. Sp. Spec Glasses, Wise Glasses, Rescue Hood. I just focus on healing my allies as much as possible, but if someone decides to step inside the Ring... They're getting stomped on lol. I feel like if Blissy's heal over time stacked instead of only being replaced it would be a nice QOL buff for her so if she puts all her eggs in one basket it's still just as optimal as spreading the heal around. Personally. Picks and Bans in unite would be preferrable. Just in Ranked though. That way people can actually proactively pick and build rather than picking something into a team that counters it in every aspect. Imagine picking talon flame into a mean look Umbreon and Gravity Clefable.
Not sure about how it would be implemented but timing button presses to the sound/visual waves of moonlight could keep it simple but engaging and not just be a mindless goal zone running around. Gravity should maybe have weaker effects if clef is not in the gravity itself.
Gravity is a necessary evil having mobility + damage on one ability can feel extremely oppressive this is an Issue in league as well ( akali, fiora, irelia ) but champs like Cassio, and singed are necessary and not at all problematic people just get annoyed they can’t press buttons kill things just wait for gravity or be used before going in or fake going in so the clef will pre gravity etc. this can also be solved with better balanced supports incentivizing more picks, more move variety( speed up moves for example ) rather than just dashes because a large part of the roster have dashes. Additionally more supports in general a larger roster means more variety. Also like clefable is one of the better supports since wiggly/mime are more offense/cc and generally unfun so they’re kept bad , sable is just bad and lacks team fighting options besides confusion and ultimate, and Elde, blissey, comfey and hoopa are generally ok so realistically you really only have 5 viable supports that actually support the team
When I play defenders and see a clefable in the enemy team I know that it’s my job to try and kill clefable first and try to CC it enough to get clefable away from her teammates so that they can be vulnerable and not get healed
Clef will always be my favorite even if they nerf her to the ground. But I really hope they make draining kiss better because I love that skill and the surprisingly good burst damage it ends up doing both in the early and late game. Love catching baby mons with the draining kiss + dazzling gleam combo that ends up doing like 50% of a squishy mons health early game lol.
I agree. Cuz her gravity is completely powerful to stop all Pokemon with movement moves (except Unite moves) and stun them if they entered the zone with those moves. I used Dragon Dance Outrage for close combat and giving team advantages to carry them, but this Pokémon with that move is a menace. Completely powerful.
The more busted dashes, the more clefable. An ultimate defense against dive comps. What are you going to do, calculate a metagross crater? Use Block Snorlax? X scissor-Rock Tomb Crustle? All bad matchups into umbreon, the third most popular mon. Snd then your artillery and snipers can’t do nothing either. Just use pain split curse trev vs clefable at that point bro, you’re just as useful that way.

I am Scyther main, yesterday I was playing into a clefable, maybe duo and they were Gardevoir with clefable, in the Ray fight, I sneaked up to a gardevoir who was behind the clefable, and the moment I use my double hit and dual wing beat, the clefable above uses its gravity and moon light, and top of that unites, which no just saves the garde on low health, but I am blocked there able to do nothing, I already full healed but I have no moves to go out, and top of that how unlucky I could be the cleable instant unite gave it hyper beam, garde psyshock and the clef hyber beam killed me. How can I have fun let alone play melee speedsters with this when there are clefs like these running around with attackers.
Clefable is most certainly not OP or broken. I guess you can make a case for Gravity being unfair, but Moonlight gets extremely hard countered by Cursed items and if you ignore that, Clefable is very squishy and relatively easy to kill.
Cleffable has always been nuts. Fighting an enemy next to a cleffable is worse than fighting someone on base. I'd go as far to say that it's more op than hoopa. Hoopa sends you to base, but cleffable brings the base to you 😅

Clef is literally a team-orientated healer compared to Eldi. Clef relies on teammates protecting them, so it can heal and give itself a shield, meanwhile you can have a whole team try to kill Eldi but it survives long enough for it's teammates to come along. A Clef on its own is the equivalent to Decidueye existing
Does the Black emblems even affect the cool down for Moonlight? Its got 7 black emblems and even Mew emblem but its still 8 Seconds long as the description implies, is it broken or something im lacking in knowing
People get so upset when I say clefable needs a nerf like yes it’s true more people need to play support but clefable is also such a toxic Pokémon it’s too powerful, if the enemy has one and your team has no support your chances of winning go down drastically 😭😭
Clefable will be fine in pick and ban because you can counter Moonlight with curse items, and not pick dashing mons to counter Gravity. It is a bit too strong for the moment, though.
Even with the debuff they still get a sizable amount of healing, and then clef just picks follow me instead and still ccs Tbh, clef should have a larger window than 2 seconds of downtime for gravity
Discussed this with friends but imo a good nerf would he switching gravity and draining kiss, would force you to pick only one do the overpowered moves
I feel like Gravity definitely needs a nerf. She may be easy to defeat on your own but if their teammates stop you from killing her, then it's game over.
I do think the initial stun of gravity when you dash into it should be removed. I get the gimmick but that additional feature is just absolutely bs because you get punished for trying to pick off a backline with a 1 second stun that will probably result in you getting cc’ed to death. A move that invalidates half the roster is not a balanced move period.
The most annoying thing when playing a support is when you want to heal your ally and they just refuse it instead. Like i played Hoopa and this A9 is dying i open a portal for them to go back to base but instead they just walk over it and just die instead. Why are people doing this? And i have at least 3 games with allies like that in just 1 day
No I don't think Clef should be nerfed. Being a strong anti-meta pick doesn't warrant nerfs. Plus having a clef doesn't mean insta wins. Clef is alot more team dependent than other Supports. Which in SoloQ means it's not that strong
What meta is it anti though? How is it ok it completely invalidates entire characters with a big aoe circle on the ground? Scizor/scyther already struggles enough without one easy to use move that completely shuts it down lol
I'm not sure about Pokemon Unite, but I do know that my Clefable can literally beat a Charzard. It's got stronger sp.attack, sp. defense, defense---it's literally stronger in every single way except speed. Both my Charzard and Clefable are at level 45. I just use her for everything, attacking gym leaders, just everything, it's too funny. Of course I was playing the Pokemon Gaia ROM, but that's just my experience
I think clefairy doesn’t have a good win rate because the players that play them are so brain dead. It is common for me to see clefairys with like 2 k damage. Yes they are not a main damage dealer but even just basic attacking should give you way more and they are just being lazy. They just sit there and don’t really do anything or think
Clefable is annoying. Should be nerfed. Maybe the Best way to do it is changing the evolution level. Having all he needs at level 12 is unfair keeping in mind that Eldegoss is worst late Game and her moves upgrade one level above of Clefable's
Fair and reasonable nerfs would be to the cool downs for both gravity and moonlight. Or for moonlight, the cool down doesn't begin until the move ends.
That last change would honestly leave the mon pretty much useless until level 10 unless they reduced moonlight's cooldown to like, 5 seconds. Clef only has high healing numbers because she's the most consistent AOE healer. Her only other competition in that aspect being Elde who never was exclusively a healer like Clef is thus her healing is weaker. And polen puff has a 5 second cooldown.

I can heal more depending on teamcomp, if I have a tank like Slowbro or those inmortal characters, then I can heal over 100K. Even if only heal the minimum, I do more than just healing with Eldegod. It's not my main but always have good WR with it.

The heals are dumb, but the 20% movespeed on top of that is even more dumb, especially when it already has a giant anti-fun circle that slows.

Yeah when not a lot of ppl in solo Q run cursed items, clef really is a pain. One person with curse would make team fights go waay differently.

Clef relies on teammates protecting them, so it can heal and give itself a shield, meanwhile you can have a whole team try to kill Eldi but it survives long enough for it's teammates to come along.
A Clef on its own is the equivalent to Decidueye existing

Does the Black emblems even affect the cool down for Moonlight? Its got 7 black emblems and even Mew emblem but its still 8 Seconds long as the description implies, is it broken or something im lacking in knowing
People get so upset when I say clefable needs a nerf like yes it’s true more people need to play support but clefable is also such a toxic Pokémon it’s too powerful, if the enemy has one and your team has no support your chances of winning go down drastically 😭😭

Clefable will be fine in pick and ban because you can counter Moonlight with curse items, and not pick dashing mons to counter Gravity. It is a bit too strong for the moment, though.
Even with the debuff they still get a sizable amount of healing, and then clef just picks follow me instead and still ccs

I do think the initial stun of gravity when you dash into it should be removed. I get the gimmick but that additional feature is just absolutely bs because you get punished for trying to pick off a backline with a 1 second stun that will probably result in you getting cc’ed to death. A move that invalidates half the roster is not a balanced move period.
The most annoying thing when playing a support is when you want to heal your ally and they just refuse it instead. Like i played Hoopa and this A9 is dying i open a portal for them to go back to base but instead they just walk over it and just die instead. Why are people doing this? And i have at least 3 games with allies like that in just 1 day

No I don't think Clef should be nerfed. Being a strong anti-meta pick doesn't warrant nerfs. Plus having a clef doesn't mean insta wins. Clef is alot more team dependent than other Supports. Which in SoloQ means it's not that strong

I'm not sure about Pokemon Unite, but I do know that my Clefable can literally beat a Charzard. It's got stronger sp.attack, sp. defense, defense---it's literally stronger in every single way except speed. Both my Charzard and Clefable are at level 45. I just use her for everything, attacking gym leaders, just everything, it's too funny. Of course I was playing the Pokemon Gaia ROM, but that's just my experience

I think clefairy doesn’t have a good win rate because the players that play them are so brain dead. It is common for me to see clefairys with like 2 k damage. Yes they are not a main damage dealer but even just basic attacking should give you way more and they are just being lazy. They just sit there and don’t really do anything or think

Fair and reasonable nerfs would be to the cool downs for both gravity and moonlight. Or for moonlight, the cool down doesn't begin until the move ends.
That last change would honestly leave the mon pretty much useless until level 10 unless they reduced moonlight's cooldown to like, 5 seconds. Clef only has high healing numbers because she's the most consistent AOE healer. Her only other competition in that aspect being Elde who never was exclusively a healer like Clef is thus her healing is weaker. And polen puff has a 5 second cooldown.

Me, struggling to get 70 K healing with Eldegoss (not for damage tho), then there is Clefable doing 100 K extra healing for free.
thats u being bad. I heal 90k on eldegoss every game.
@@ASMRbyJIO Not really, 70 is like my minimum healing, just nothing compared to Clefable. I can heal more depending on teamcomp, if I have a tank like Slowbro or those inmortal characters, then I can heal over 100K. Even if only heal the minimum, I do more than just healing with Eldegod. It's not my main but always have good WR with it.
