Elixir is definitely NOT good for the summer. It’s more of a fall/winter fragrance as it’s got that strong cinnamon, gingerbread smell. Trust me, I own it and it gets too cloying in the summer heat (100°F, 40°c+ weather). That’s why I only wear it in the fall/winter. I do agree with the performance though as ONE SPRAY will get you through the whole day (maybe even 2). The EDT/EDP versions are the way to go in summer. D&G LBI is my go-to fragrance for the summer.

I agree. I love Elixir, but if you over-apply it (more than one spray), it will turn on you. And eventually smell like hippopotamus shit. Not kidding.
Also, the only scent that has ever induced a headache. I thought that was a myth. Nope ;)
I literally spray one-half a spray on the cap, and then gingerly dab it on with my finger.
Beautiful scent... Projection, Longevity, Sillage, and compliments all 10+++. But this is an absolutely dangerous beast of a fragrance. Yet, worth every penny, my friends. You've been warned ;)
I blind bought elixir as my first ever fragrance because it’s almost cold weather time and I absolutely love the smell!

Had Nautica Voyage for such a long time. Barely wore it bc I didnt know it was more of a summer fragrance. I used to wear D&G The One instead since the winter, stuck with it. But now I'll try the Voyage for the summer, thanks!
How is it going?
I really love Prada Luna Rossa sport in the summer. Nobody ever talks about this one, I’m assuming because the performance is average at best, but it’s in my top 5 favorite smelling fragrances ever.
Prada Luna Rossa line is almost like a clone house. Their frags are like high end Armafs with generic been there done that DNA. Luna Rossa is just that citrus/lavender that's everywhere, Carbon is like Sauvage, Sport is like Le Male. They might not be dupes but they sit back wait for a popular release and create a high quality frag that smells 75-80% like that particular DNA
@@Josh-hr5mc I was never really into most of the Luna Rossa line personally. But something about Luna Rossa sport I really like. I really haven’t smelled anything else that reminds me of it. Of course fragrance is very subjective, but that’s one of my favorites.

Been watching Jeremy for years and I have to say, I don't really agree with alot of his choices 🤷🏾♂️..made me realize that it's important to get a fragrance that YOU find interesting/appealing..unlike leaving it to someone else. I'm much happier when I wear fragrances of my choice.
Don't wear Sauvage Elixir in the hot summer, others around will suffocate...

Lo compré ayer y la billetera ni se reciente. Es un must para adquirir y entiendo porque ha logrado imponerse, incluso a perfumes mucho más caros. I'll be wearing Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense mostly because I had my bottle for a few years and need to use it up and other days I'll be using Versace Eau Fraiche which is a dumb and reach out of the shower fragrance, but good for the heat.

For summer 2022: Terre Hermes Eau Grivee & D&G Italian Love.
Nautica Voyage gives the best bang for buck but I find the performance to be average but for the price it's good.

Light blue intense is a tricky one.. on my skin it last ok but on my friend I can smell it non stop.. also the projection on him is amazing but on my skin not.

Nautica voyage is truly amazing, not only in its performance but also in compliments category. I haven’t met any girl who doesn’t like it on my skin and it works anytime and anywhere, regardless dressing in casual or formal. Maybe that’s why it has become a top seller on Amazon
see I can't figure out nautica voyage. I can barely smell it and either it doesn't last long or i am almost completely noseblind to it from the get go. Just can't figure out why people are so into that one.

Light Blue Intense in my eyes right now is the king of summer fragrances. It has power but it doesn't have that 8+ longetivity so just reapply at 4 hours. Its ok, this is too beautiful a fragrance to ignore. Nautica does not come close to smelling better. Voyage I do own and use but its not a Light Blue Intense

Layer Light Blue Intense with Moschino Toy Boy; doubles the longevity, smells great.
Acqua di Gio Profondo is basically a better and longer lasting light blue intense

There is also Parfums de Marly Percival that is reminescent of Chanel Egoiste Platinum. Very out of shower type of smell. Popeye Jean Paul Gaulitier should still make the top 10 list although now discontinued there is still Superman and also Andre version.
I don’t get the hate towards Nautica Voyage , honestly. It gets me lots of compliments and it smells great. My go-to summer frag together with Tommy Hilfiger for Men.

Hey Jeremy, I recently bought aqua di gio Profumo and I think it got reformulated. It looks different and doesn’t smell that good and isn’t long lasting anymore

I would go ADG Profundo > Original > Perfumo in terms of summer scents rankings.
Perfumo can probably be worn in slightly more occasions imo. Like a better Fall frag between the three. And had slightly better performance

How do you rate Frank Boclet Tobacco , it's for myself I'm 54 ( lumberjack type guy with some finesse )
It will fit, but it's quite subdued, even light I'd say. If money doesn't matter go for Herod, also try Mancera Red Tobacco.
Jeremy, how many sprays of PDM Sedley?
I always use Zero.
I surprisingly use Layton more than sedley, in Miami weather when I do use it I do 10-15 sprays super fresh everyone likes it sedley’s kick ass the more you use the more and more you like it. The reason that I think I use Layton more is because it’s way stronger specially in high heat it comes off so masculine in high heat and it’s the most masculine smelling blue fragrance in my collection women really like it and there’s something about that oud and vanilla combo on the dry down it definitely takes confidence to rock Leighton in high heat but I’m telling ya this stuff is so awesome in high heat summer.
i find Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino pumping in the heat and lasting all day. also a very fresh and clean fragrance.

@@leoashura8086 I wear fragrances for myself because I like how it smells. When I go out as long as I love the smell that’s all that matters. I’ll go grocery shopping in a suit and I’ll put on Amouge interlude which is way stronger than elixir and more off putting, and I get approached and I get compliments. You gotta wear that stuff for you, and not care what anyone thinks. I love how I smell to me, not how I smell to others, chances are if you like it so do other people. There’s always someone that might not like it, fuck em. But to be honest I’ve never gotten a negative response really, I even have coworkers that tell me how much our customers love how I smell. And I get compliments almost every day. Wear what you like and wear it with confidence, the world is yours my dude!

How does the elixir perform on hot day?
I’m pretty sure I’ve woken up In an alternate universe:
1 - Sauvage Elixir isn’t really a summer fragrance
2 - Nautica Voyage performs really bad for me. Like, I’m talking an hour or two and the projection is garbage
3 - Nothing really comes to close to Light Blue Intense. It has an incredible performance for me

Don't do what I did and bought around 100 Fragrances just because some are for summer and some for winter.
It's all business, you can literally wear summer fragrances in winter and winter frags in summer and also you can wear women fragrance ( Example Black orchid is unisex, more feminine but still unisex )
Go Dubai and check out what people wear in Dubai , Oud in the summer. ( Oud in summer are you crazy ? )
I'm not saying you should wear Sauvage Elixir or Spicebomb extreme or even let's say Valentino Uomo intense in summer because of course , heat = projection and will probably choke you out but you can apply 1 or 2 light sprays in the summer and still performs and smells good.
Beware that perfumes are getting weaker and weaker and in the next 2-3 years winter fragrance will be weak enough to be only worn in summer due to heavy reformulations.
I used to wear Joop and Spicebomb extreme in the winter and they performed amazing, but latest and recent batches of spicebomb and joop are so weak that you won't be able to smell them after 1-2 hours and barely projects ! Solution was adding Iso e Super and instead of wearing them in winter, I started wearing them Spring and maybe fall. ( Winter kills projection but lasts longer than in summer )
Now, for Nautica Voyage I know how you are feeling, fresh scent but doesn't last. Try to buy Iso E super off ebay, and apply before the fragrance, will improve longevity ( Which I don't care about Longevity ) and will improve projection, trust me it does work, getting compliments after 3hrs + but I cannot smell my perfume on myself.
