You get a real sense of how deserted the park is. Love your wildlife photos and videos. Whenever you share statistics of how infrequently Denali is out in all her glory, I feel so lucky that I got to see it so well. Glad you were able to take this break and travel there before you get back to work on your cabin. Love to you both.

Thanks for watching it mom! It was a weird experience for sure with everything closed up. It will be interesting to see what happens next year. Love you!

Back in 1978, I flew from Vancouver BC to Prince Rupert, jumped on the ferry and rode to Sitka, spent two days there, then on to Ketchikan where I stayed with a cousin for a few days, then continued on with the ferry to Skagway where I visited another cousin for a few days, took the train up to Lake Bennett (my grandfather walked that route during the gold rush and we still have some of the gold he brought back), then from Skagway I went back to Juneau on the ferry where I flew out to Anchorage, stayed a few days, then took the train to Denali and stayed in an old railroad pullman car for a few days (the only accomodation there back then ... the only building there back then!) and took the bus tour on the road just like you show you did/drove. We had moose walk right up to the bus! The driver warned us not to open our windows. It was a huge, tall bus, but the moose where so tall that they looked right in the windows, moose drool on the windows. Lots of other wildlife too ... grizzlies, reindeer, fox. So very impressive. But the most impressive part was that "the mountain" was OUT for the whole time I was there. I've since learned how lucky and blessed I was.
Your photos and videos are so wonderful. There are more people and buildings now, than when I was there, but the land and the environment look just the same. Love those little ermine. :-) Thank you so much for doing the work it takes to produce your vlog. I so much appreciate you two!
I'm in Lacey, WA, with a home and an Escape 21. Hope to run into you folks on the road one of these days.
    Thank you!!

I love watching you ladies and all your adventures! I’ve been thinking about how much I’d love to live full time in an RV for a few years now, and maybe one day I can be like you two. 😊

Thanks Lisa! We love our full time rv life and wouldn’t trade it for anything! We will be living in our cabin this winter though in Alaska. A whole different adventure!!

Thanks for the tour of Denali. Hope to make it there on day. It a long way from Texas though. When we were at 2019 Escape rally we should have kept heading north but we had other commitments. It on our to do list though. Looking forward to the next video.

So cool that you were able to drive that far into the park! Gosh, when I rode the bus last summer I just had to stay calm when that big old bus was on the edge of Polychrome Pass! EEEK! I think part of the road broke away earlier this year... Great photography; glad you two had a nice break from cabin construction!

I’ve driven it 3 times now and Polychrome Pass is always a nail biter!! It’s actually less terrifying driving through it yourself since you’re the one in control. The repaired slide area was nerve wracking though. Totally worth it!

Hi Angie and Rhonda, I live in Wasilla AK and would love to take a look at your trailer. Escapes are not common in Alaska. I would also like to talk to you about how you live year around in your trailer. I know this comment is out of the blue so I would be happy to meet you under the circumstances and the place you name. I will bring my wife along if she is up to it. We would like to snowbird to warmer climates in the winter and we are considering a trailer.

Hi Michael, sorry for the slow reply!! We've been working non stop on our cabin! We hope to be bringing our Escape south in the next week or two to have one of the axles replaced in Anchorage. We'd be happy to show it to you in Wasilla. Can you send my an email at adventuresinnomadness@gmail.com and we can exchange contact info for a tour. We have loved living in our Escape and it's been the perfect trailer for us!
