Tom Pemberton Farm Life Yeah you can get gas less flux core wire used most commonly on building sites, or you can opt for the more conventional gas bottle gives a better finish but isn’t as portable 👍🏻

@@TomPembertonFarmLife Tom, an inverter welder is a great tool around a farm. Easy to carry and easy on you to start a weld with. A mig is a great welder but you need everything very clean and they are best used in a workshop. Just a thought for you

Would be fairly difficult to put a channel in as you would need a fairly deep channel to hold the water so it doesnt just flow over the opposite side or a very wide channel. My advice would be buy an older trip style agitator as very easy to hook on and off (should be able to buy them fairly cheap) one that you can put a pipe onto the top of it for transferring the slurry

Hello Tom, Just a thought. I know it would mean more loads. But if you have a hi pressure water hose. When you get to the thick muck near the bottom of the pit you could stir it up with the hi pressure water. That should make it a lot easier to pump out. Just an idea that's all, i hope you don't mind. Grate video looking forward to seeing the next instalment. Regards Richard.

Tom what you need is a pump agitator! Reason 1- when your spreading with the new tanker it will mix the slurry so it’s consistently smooth and not lumpy (especially for a dribble bar) 2- you can put the umbilical pipe on them so you could pump from that tank to the tower directly, we do it here in Ireland !! 😄🐮🇮🇪

It might be a good idea to fit a "T" piece between pump and tank, especially on that nice new tanker you are getting. Then get some extra hose so you can just pump straight from first pit into the second pit.
