If you live OTP (outside the perimeter) you will want the Peach Pass, we live in Canton (Allatoona, golf, tennis, mountain biking, Downtown Canton/Woodstock) all within minutes from home. But, if you want to go to the Battery for a Braves game or bar hope, you are 20 minutes away with the Peach Pass, even during rush hour 🙂 and Buckhead or Midtown add maybe another 10-15 minutes, and the airport is 40 minutes door to door.
This video is spot on ! Im trying to find something there or should I say you are !! the house at the 7:10 mark in the video looks really nice !! Thanks, Chuck
My biggest tip is to really study the area you’re planning on moving to before actually making the move. I live in Duluth/Berkeley Lake area. I meet lots of affluent new residents that regret moving to a specific area of town which doesn’t fit their lifestyle or income bracket quite often simply because they didn’t take the time to really experience what that community had to offer.
I love this question. :) Never having visited Oakland and only seeing what I see on social media and TV, I will say I give Georgia a solid 8.5 out of 10. Infrastructure is constantly playing catch up in many locations here so traffic is a headache. Allergy season (April) is a nightmare for me personally so if I could do away with pollen I would greatly appreciate it. All in all, I do love living in Georgia.
What’s with the Mom realtors..??? Stay professional..!! Give us the average square footage of each area, crime levels, traffic volumes, price per square foot, availability of housing. Don’t sell some dream of weekends with the food trucks, or PTA meetings with the Moms, those with kids can do that on their own, just give us the the financials and statistics 📊 so we can make a plan for what is best for our next move
I appreciate your stance, however, maybe I'm not the realtor for you. I am speaking to the people that regularly contact me and ask for this specific content and information. I've lived here for years and can tell them about the areas. You can learn square footage from a document online and as realtors we are not legally able to speak on crime statistics. Perhaps you should watch a different video with the information you are looking for.

Canton is beautiful. So close to the beautiful outdoors yet still close to all of the modern conveniences. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

On a scale of 0-10, with 10 being heaven and 0 being oakland, how would you rate Georgia?
