Interesting video albeit a bit short. I grew up and lived in and around Bristol until leaving for good in the mid 80's. As a practising drunk, I've spent many an hour in all the pubs listed, even working at the Llandoger for a short period when it was a Berni Inn. One interesting one you've left off your list is The Greyhound in Broadmead. Always busy with lunchtime trade, but evenings it was usually deserted. I recall one evening being there, imbibing a few of John Courages best. The place was empty apart from me and the barman, who was regaling me with the history and ghost stories about the pub, and was going a good job. As you may know it's a big sprawling place, quite spooky when empty, but it got to that time where I had to let out some of what I'd put in. I was stood doing my business in the gents, thinking about what the barman had been telling me, laughing to myself more than anything. Out of the blue, one of the ceramic wall tiles quite literally fell off the wall and shattered on the floor behind me. Believe me, I was in the appropriate room within the building, because I very nearly did s**t myself. I laugh at it now, just a random memory from over 40 years ago.
Used to go to the Hatchet a lot in the 2000's/2010s when it was an alternative pub (which I don't think it is anymore, sadly). Spent many hours in various areas of the pub (particularly upstairs which was used for clubs) and neither myself or anyone I knew at the time never reported anything strange, other then hearing the cellars was a bit creepy according to bar staff.
any chances of paying to get in any of these places. Would love to investigate. Ps if you want some stories on anywhere we been check out our stuff and get in touch 😁
