I have been saying it since 2018 when i randomly discovered these guys that they are the next big thing. There’s just something about them but the have IT. My absolute number one favorite band. WE ARE ALL ONE WITH ORBIT CULTURE.
@@ItsMillerTime99 the complete cleans caught me completely off guard. I had no idea he had those, fucking fantastic! Also I hope you're doing well Mr. Miller 🖤
@@dominicchristoph those cleans were similar, but even better than the cleans in the beginning of “Behold” from the Nija album. So good. And I’m doing great man! Hope you are too. Nice seeing some new Cypecore reactions lately
8:30 You said it! Perfection!! I’m new to this band and after finding this track got Shaman and Redfog. Awesome albums. I think they are their own sound while sounding similar to Insomnium and Scar Symmetry. I think I have all the good ones and still searching. This was an epic find!
They are so unreal, had to see them live a second time. When I did, an hour after the performance Niklas and Fredrik suddenly sat down next to me at the festival. Had a chat for a while... They complimented my orbit culture merch and how I went about in the moshpit 😭 best moment ever but in excitement I forgot to ask them to sign my shirt
Also, have to agree with how the solo is integrated into the song. Absolutely love how Orbit Culture comes up with fresh new material! Consider me an "Orbit Cultist", absolutely hooked on their stuff.
HELL YES!!! I f**king your reactions man, they're always spot with me too lol. OC never disappoint. SO ready for this new album. that scream Niklas does reminds me of something Devin Townsend or Joe from Gojira would do too. So HUGE, primal and so much pain behind it. Can relate!!
I feel like the only band that didn't disappoint is Orbit Culture. I mean, since they started, almost none of their songs were bad or mediocre. Like, I love almost every single song that they created. Sure, the key word is "almost" but still, most of their stuff is freaking perfect, man! Sometimes it is heavy, sometimes melodic, and other times all in one, and I freaking love it! Can't wait for more 🤘
Agreed. Listen to a lot and I know metal is very subjective but 3 "Metal-Core" acts that never disappointed, IMO- Breakdown of Sanity, After The Burial and August Burns Red. I'm down w heavier but still go back to the roots.
@@jameswirth8169 I'm listening to a lot of different metal, but Orbit Culture is my favorite modern band. But it kinda saddens me that Metal is subjective. Cause, it is a real music that takes not just a knowledge on how to play on certain instruments, but also a tons of skill and brain storm to create new songs. Unlike that crappy electronic music, that doesn't take any kind of skill. Thus I wish that more people dig in to metal because, like I said, it is the actual music that takes talent and not just generating random sound.
4:10 essa parte da música o vocal e surreal,em alguns momentos lembra a voz do james hedifid, essa música é muito foda , vocal, instrumental tudo da música é foda 👊🔥
Since 2013 they have not stopped making punch you in the face music... I agree, they just keep evolving and topping whatever they've put out before.. THAT is and of itself.. almost impossible to do VERY few bands can pull that off.. these guys are perfecting it.. August 18th is the day.. the day the world will know 100% who they are..
Amazing review, as always! :) I find myself going here as soon as OC let's something new out. Just to enjoy seeing your passionate reaction and 'thoughts'. 😎🤙
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Orbit Culture is *THE* perfect band. They simply do not miss. Like there literally is not 1 single aspect of any part of this band that could be criticized. They are perfect. Truly, utterly, unequivocally perfect.
Hey GC! Hope you'll be able to see them live soon! They're in tour in Canada and I'll go see them next september in Québec :D Its a dream coming true. Thanks to you actually, I discover those geniuses here. Long live Orbit Culture!
Yes, You got the hoodie out again, looks like it will be making more of an appearance when the next album drops in August. You might wear it out and need to order a new one, perhaps OC will send you a new one you deserve it!!!
MY TAKE: Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP. I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day. Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and tear through the universe and yet heart warming. Brilliant! The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect! Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight! The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and triplets are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here! LOVE IT! The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clearly shows in each track. UNREAL! Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres. I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure LIFE for many a listener. #1
4:10 It was exactly my reaction at that moment, I like Vulture of North very much (I am playing it almost every day on guitar to warm up my right hand, overall just an amazing track) - but this is next level, I am loving From The Inside so fucking much, it's probably my favorite track by them so far
If you played that part on the drums to “warm up” you’d be a freaking awesome drummer. The double kicks are so clean. And the guitar solo afterwards is also pretty cool.
This song is actually on par with The Summoning, and The Shadowing is one of the best metal songs EVER created, and definitely the best one from OC. Amazing, cannot wait for the whole new album!!!
The craziest part for me (besides that insane scream after the muted second chorus)? The fact they did like 4 choruses (and multiple in a row) and NONE OF THEM were the same. Some of them were so varied, it was almost like they were missing essential pieces. That second chorus though 🥺 Best moment in music for me this year ❤️
These guys talent is getting robbed by modern pop rock bullshit. Say what you want about metal music. This is a master piece and this band in itself is incredible!!!!!!!!
This song is awesome, I can’t wait til Orbit Culture’s new Album drops on iTunes, awesome reaction video as always. Just curious on when are you going to be uploading a new let’s play video of “Dead Space”?
Almost hate to say it, but if id never heard any other songs from Orbit, id absolutely love this one. Having heard all their music in the past, gotta say this ones not my favorite. I agree it is more mature songwriting, adding more texture and emotion to the song for sure. Also, you can hear how Nik has progressed as a vocalist very much. The song just kind of left me expecting something out of it that i never got. It just wasnt as exciting as some of their songs in the past, idk. Its still good, and i still cant wait to hear the rest of the album.
When I describe this band to anyone who hasn’t heard them before, I always say they are what would happen if Metallica had a child with Meshuggah that was godfathered by Chester Bennington. I’m here for it.
The only bad thing with this song is that it woke me up from a work induced coma and made me realise that I missed when Orbit Culture toured with Meshuggah this spring. They played close to me!!! Despair.
This band does not get enough recognition. Severely, criminally, underrated.
They are working on it and so am I. 🤘🤘🤘
They're working their way up. 🤘
This band is the future in prog-metal and just rock on metal!
No this Band ist Hype! All CDs from this Band ist Completly Sold Out in Germany.
This is definitely a song of the year contender. The chorus is immense. The melodic aspect takes it to epic status. Still heavy. No complaints at all.
I would agree, but I think Sacrificial Participant by Better Lovers is just as good.
Sans “would”
That scream in the middle… fucking chills
