My dad’s first car, he bought it in 1967 and sold it in 1973 (when I was 4). I would love to have one. I’ve suddenly realised this is probably the reason why he always criticised how I change gear; driving one of these for 6 years he must have been an expert at gear changes.
Love it. Every trip in mine makes me smile. Lol
Interestingly vague steering…following the bumps… slow but scary… sounds eerily familiar to any Land Rover Defender driver like me - every journey is an adventure!!! (And occasionally a learning experience)
That steering box has seen better days, mine doesn't have all that play. Just half cm

Lucky me, just watched Harry Metcalfe combining his barley, switch to you and you’re parked in a barley field! Love “The Italian Rollerskates.” The steering should be treated like a sailboats, keep a loose hand and just nudge it back gently before you get too far off course.
Funnily enough he’s a local so this was filmed around the same area :)
