Never seen anyone with that level of expertise in CAD. I never thought that such a task could be reduce to this amount of clicks yet this precise. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
When Jeff Bartels uses c3d. It looks so easy and simple. I struggle using Bolivia's road standards (ABC). Despite was made on AASHTO basis. We still dont have a coherent c3d template Nor a country kit. But your job is inspiring of what is the meaning of truly design
Se quiser eu posso te dar uma força com o Civil, Fabricio. Mexo com ele já faz uns 2 anos e meio, e nesse tempo deu para compreender bastante coisa sobre os Corridors do C3D
Another great video sir... keep sharing thank you can you make a video about troubleshooting intersection why some of design profile keep vanishing when it is in intersection command... it will help a lot of Civil3D users...
Jeff, firstly, thank you so much for all your videos. I've learned pretty much all I know about corridors from you. Two questions. 1. Why don't you ever model your roads using assemblies with full layerworks (approx 5 layers) that step out on either edge (width extensions), as per construction? 2. I often run into problems with my surface if I start/end my curb-return regions from beginning of curve to end of curve. As a result I extend the start/end of the region to beyond the start/end of curve. Have you ever experienced such a problem? How did you overcome it since you always stick to the start/end of curves?
@@j.alexander7554 The vertical profile of that alignment is a little tricky. It has to obviously end at the same elevation as the start of the roundabout. I would also appreciate a video on this topic. I second the request.
hi jeff i try to follow the instruction from your video, but when i made cross section the assembly of road doesn't looks good in the profile, maybe have other video to make it, really appricited for your video .
Thanks for your sharing. Sometimes, curb return alignment from line to arc is not in tangent, there will be a void after forms a corridor. Do you have and idea to solve this issue? Thanks.
great learning content. But why choose an alignment that runs from right to left? That threw me off a bit visually and may cause confusion with other viewers in terms of what is right ETW and left ETW. Not a big deal though, thanks for posting this!
Dear jeff , I have a problem that I hope will help us, when extracting the data of the corridor we get a report without the last station in the corridor , how is it possible to extract a report containing the last station
In this case the EOP and CL because the main road crown is maintained. If both crowns were maintained you'd target the CLs but remove not just the curb and daylight from the main road intersection assembly but also the lane.
Dear Sir, I have a issue about creating corridor of intersection with traffic islands. Could you make a video to help me and maybe many people? I have tried my best but i only create surface not corridor.
One actually two questions . When you define a subassembly is there an option to define the slope of the pavement that is dependent on the direction of the curvature (corner) of the road(if the road curves to the right the road is inclined to the right) with only one subassembly? Or do you have to create a different subassembly?
why wouldn't you just use the same assembly through the intersection but remove everything beyond the lip of gutter in the assembly? is this possible? Thanks for the video!

Jeff is a Civil 3d hero.
Thank you Pedro, you made my day!
Jeff thank you all about your videos i've got alot
I swear by these tools. Soo good! Great presentation.
Thanks Archie!
Many thanks Jeff. You are the answer to my question how to do intersections.
Jeff excellent video!!!
you need to make more video about corridors. 🙏🏾
Finally this video has saved me!
Excellent and very productive video. Simple.

Superb as usual, mr Bartels. Thanks a lot!
Thank you for your support!
hi Jeff, can you do some videos on roundabouts? or do you have any recommendations for videos to watch about roundabout corridors? thanks
I guess you can create an alignment thay goes in a circle, then follow the steps in this video for the connection with the other roads
@@j.alexander7554 The vertical profile of that alignment is a little tricky. It has to obviously end at the same elevation as the start of the roundabout. I would also appreciate a video on this topic. I second the request.
@@j.alexander7554 Thats Correct. is the same this video. but add circle like a the round.
I third request a video about Rbts👍
Great video Jeff! Looking forward to trying this. Never did like working in that dialogue box!
Thanks Mike!
Thank you!! I have split my corridor up and added in HB2 and BN kerbs (UK)
Glad to hear! Thank you

Do you have a video for designing a valley gutter as part of intersection design?
Excelente video Jeff !!👌👌
Thanks David!
Didn't know you can add an assembly insertion on the corners. I used to do this by splitting the region on that spot 😅
You are a Gem
Great as usual. Thanks
Thanks!
Nice tuto THANK YOU like you do useully You are the best

Very clear!
Hii Jeff, width and offset parameters are not showing while assigning assembly to curb returns please can you tell how to do it.
Master absolutlly Nice. Jeff the best master
You are too kind! Thank you Pablo!
Good afternoon Jeff. Can you please send me the link to the videos for Creating offset alignment & profile and curb return alignments & profiles
Dear Sir
If there is any way, we could composed our own label and styles for alignment and contours and point styles PERMANENTLY for future use?
THANK YOU A LOT!!!
Thank you, How can we split a corridor in skewed position ?
What if you don't have the option to set vertical targets? I have profiles for everything and can set Horizonte targets. Thanks
what Type of lane do you use for the assembly?
I love your videos jeff ♥️

hi Jeff, I wish you could put your new videos on some playlists,so we could relate and use them more efficiently.
Are you referring to Summit Street, and do you mean instead of running assemblies along the curb returns?
Dear jeff , I have a problem that I hope will help us, when extracting the data of the corridor we get a report without the last station in the corridor , how is it possible to extract a report containing the last station
Great tutorial thank you so much
You are most welcome!
thank you so much
Hy sir how we can super elevation settings to our profile and corridor for grading
Thank you Jeff, you rock! just wondering if the curb return lane should target the EOP and the CL, or both intersecting CLs in such case?
In this case the EOP and CL because the main road crown is maintained. If both crowns were maintained you'd target the CLs but remove not just the curb and daylight from the main road intersection assembly but also the lane.

If you assign superelevation information to your alignment, you can choose subassemblies that support superelevation to do what you're asking for.
Archie Dodge okay thank you I will try it out.
Great.. Thanks a lot
