I live in Europe and have already bought tickets to go to the Museum in Amsterdam next week. I can't wait to have this card in my hands!
Idk if that guarantees you a card. They seemed to have given out several copies to one person several times.

An hour later, it’s seems I’m a bit late. Their site is pretty much locked up when going to that collection and it shows all items are also sold out.
My Gf is an art teacher and has taught lessons and studied Van Gogh and his art for a long time. Really want to get her a couple of pieces from this collection, and in the hands of someone whom loves and appreciates art. It is embarrassing to see the museum videos with people just putting disgrace to his name and the exhibit.
I searched the store all the time on the 28th and it wasnt in there but only google searches now had the pages show up when its all sold out. So fucking frustrating. As time goes on its gonna be worth way more than 50. Full arts that have pop culture references and feature iconic pokemon historically do and this probably also had a small run. Expect 300 dollars or more like the 'Scream' series, just not Mario/Luigi Pikachu levels of insane thats all

The problem is the scalpers buying up all the merchandise with bots when it drops on pokemon center. Same thing that happened with ps5.
I really hope this one can be acquired in the Asia, particularly Philippines.
Cards already up from 75$ low to 122-190$ a lot of people don’t even have it on hand this cards gonna be 200$+ once people have the real thing they’ll never print enough of these it’s Pokémon they always drop the ball it makes things worth hundreds years later
The problem is that the site was giving a card for EVERY item purchased, so of course some people were putting hundreds of them in their cart so of course it was sold out in minutes
That wasn’t the case. You could only get the promo with a qualifying item, I.e. any of the Van Gogh items, not just any item.
There is a guy on whatnot who has been making D.C., Marvel, Star Wars, and pop culture characters in the style of famous artists like van gogh, Rembrandt, Da Vinci, etc.... makes me wonder if who made this Pikachu didn't steal the idea from him...
I want that card because I am a pikachu collector I don't understand why this always happens on the pokemon center website.
So is it gone??? Is it confirmed sold out? And i couldnt even view the only thing showed was three paintings and each time i click on it it says 404 error

I seen someone share on X that EVERY eligible item you get a promo. So say you order sleeves and a mat. You get two promos

It dropped on the Pokemon Center already and sold out instantly. They even took the listings off the site which usually means they aren't going to restock.

I'll probably visit the musuem with my partner! Both really into pokemon, and we both live in the Netherlands. Will be nice too see some art and maybe get the card there aswell(And ofc complete the adventure and play some pokemon go in the meantime)! Loved the vid Applesauce!

Make sure to book a time slot before you go to the museum. You can't just go and buy a ticket there. Needs to be paid and booked upfront. The next 3 weeks are already fully booked. I'm going 8 October
This was a disaster. I can’t believe they didn’t handle this better. If this was a true promo why would they not print a ton and sell Van Gogh products to the moon. Seems like they ran out super quick. They can literally print sheets of it and I’m sure ppl would wait if they made a list

They need to do one set like a booster box set with regular border cards with vango art and alternate art cards and only so many booster boxes get printed it'll get run from like the beginning of the year to about two to three months later then printing stops and when the back stock runs out that's it did love to the game of pokémon it all created another huge spike in Pokemon again another huge surge and it would keep Pokemon a float for a little while longer

@DrApplesauceTwo Someone shared a message in one of my groups, and the Pokemon Center said they are sold out of promos and not restocking.
Got myself one, my child and my wife. We keep them all and get them graded. People in NL been selling it for over 300€ a piece -_-
I have been checking the website and it looks like the promos are out of stock :(
Whenever a new piece of merchandise drops it sells out within a couple minutes. I tried to add the eevee portrait and was able to add to cart but couldn't complete checkout.
The promos were not being added with the item, so I believe the promos cards are out of stock.
But the other merchandise should be going on sale periodically, but they just sell out within minutes, so best of luck to anyone trying to get them. Not sure if the demand will still be there without the promo cards, but I'm sure it will!

We dont have pokemon center online stores in Europe except in the UK. They are really screwing us Europeans over once again.

Pokemon has turned into one big Hype Train and it seems like the majority of people dont buy cards because they love them they buy them to flip. Seeing people(adults) act this why is wild.
Well this aged fckng horribly. Sickened with TPCi. Couldn’t buy a single item and I was trying for two days.
How did this age horribly? It aged perfectly. The drop happened online and many people scored and the market price of the promo decreased by 2/3s.
@@DrApplesauceTwowhy are you only talking about a promo????? 99% of people couldn’t even pick up merchandise and let alone a promo. Even if the promo gets reprinted the merch won’t and everything is basically 10X the value on Ebay. Two full days refreshing the page only to lose to bots. US isn’t the only country but if your experience was better than that’s awesome. UK/European experience was horrendous. Worst launch I’ve ever experienced in my life for anything.
