Great cars 👌
Petrol Ped averaged 27mpg over 10k in mine.
Not sure you will get this as its an old vid. However, I am thinking of hunting down a petrol S4 Avant. Have you still got yours? how has it been? would you go for a newer diesel?
Great Video. Just wondering what real world MPG you would normally get ?
On a motorway at 70 I get about 38/40 Around town depends on driving massively but in the 20s, have seen lower.
Great vid, do you have warp stabilizer on or optical stabilizer?
warp, just purchased a new tripod/ handhold grip that i'll be using for a bit. Hopefully the handheld stuff should be less shaky.
I love mine mines red with red leather.
3 months maybe 4 so 20mils per day that's nothing to be honest 500 Miles a week sounds more realistic for every day car 😂
However video is great and car is absolutely beast 🎉😎👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉
Welcome to London lol
What is your urban mpg? To be honest mate? 🙏🏻
@@ixxei i think it was 18 in that car
If you opt for the diesel then you won't be able to use it for short journeys, due to causing DPF issues ££££££
That’s a good point
Sam, about the S4 vs RS4 Engine: yes, they share the same block, but pretty much everything else is different. That's why the S4 has a 3.0l single turbo and the RS4 has a 2.9l twin turbo.
That aside, the S4 engine can easily produce the same amount of hp like the RS one with minimal tuning and software.
Oh and I absolutely love the car. A 2017 Navarra Blue S4 Avant is definitly one of my dream cars😃
Thanks, off the top of my head I couldn't remember, I knew they were similar.
Audi S4 petrol is the sweatspot
Sweatspot! Are you sure?
@@prook2001 Well, now the new RS4 has a V6 the choice is harder - the old V8 was too thirsty
@@rolexkings7747 please check your spelling sweatspot! Perhaps you mean sweet spot? Sweatspot is what fat people get under their armpits when exercising!
went in a friends 480 bhp , jeez got out and felt pissed a fantastic ride would i get in again , no thanx lol
I should add, its a second car I am lucky enough to have a p11 4S, this car is for winter, carrying bikes ect
Yep agree with you Sam, great choice for your needs...... Enjoying the videos buddy 😉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks
Next car should be the BMW M340i touring!
I do love a bit of a skid!
Sam Moores it’s awd too!
@@Bryan-ir1ex oh jeez, NO THANKS
Does yours have the differential? I’ve decided it’s not really that important, especially as hardly any used examples have it.
Nutty car 🔥
Really useful review. Now thinking RS3 hatch a sensible replacement when I change my M2 - 4WD, hatch, 5 doors...(don't need S4/RS4 space). And I thought I recognised those North Essex roads.
Loved my rs3, would be keen to drive one again (need a bigger car personally) but the engine is mega.
About to trade my RS3 sedan for this. Need the bigger room and there is a lot of bang for your money on this vehicle!!!
So much! Still loving it, enjoy!
Sam, have you spent much time in the new RS6 Avant? I know your friend James did a video on it but would like your opinion. Also, any chance of you doing a video on any variant of the new 911? Or maybe an M2 CS?
Alas, I have spent 0 time in one. I would love to do literally all of the cars you are suggesting haha but it's a case of getting my hands on them that's a bit tricky.
Do you miss your rs3 mate
I miss the looks a bit, other than that, nope
Glad you have not gone down the SUV route. Estate's are much better. Lighter, small frontal area, more aerodynamic, lower centre of gravity, more fuel efficienct, less body roll.
