Su learned how to play from being with the dogs. That is how dogs play. Su may not know yet that she is a monkey. Mimi taught him nothing. Su looks a little more stable on his feet when he walks and runs. Seemed it took forever for him to begin growing up :) )
Please remember that these are animals. They don't work, they sleep and eat. She does her best, and she has her own children and family to take care of. These monkeys are luck they have her. Well, this started as cute video with Su trying to open the box. It went from 👍 to 👎soon after Ku and Mimi entered. The lady once again (as she frequently does) started shaking Su and jerking him back and forth like he was a rag doll or a stuffed play toy - yelling yeah- yeah- yeah. 😡 Su's fun totally ended. Clearly Kuku will not have anything to do with Su but the lady's actions encouraged (as always) Mimi to do the same with shaking Su as was evident when Mimi started snatching Su back and forth and up and down while growling at her. As usual the lady did not make a comment to Mimi to let her know that it was wrong to do that - because whatever Mimi wants to do is perfectly ok! Not only was it ok, the lady had taught Mimi to do this to and with Su. Thus, I call her "the lady" and not "mom" because WHAT KIND OF MOTHER TEACHES THIS???? Thank you lady for teaching this to Mimi - as if she was not already mean enough to Su.
As always it was frustrating to watch Mimi's spastic movements, acting like she had not eaten for several months. 😱 Kuku remained the gentleman waiting until the lady informed him that it was time to eat the snack. I know that these are animals - and are from wild animal families, but they are suppose to be humanized from living and being taught/trained by humans; however, Mimi must have missed "SEVERAL" lessons. 😖You thought you humanized her? Well many times, she acts like a wild animal. 😡😡

She has given Su to Mimi for her to play nanny. Mimi has accepted the responsibility and now always claims Su but the owner will not let her have him. Mimi even takes a submissive position, begging for Su. It's not fair.

I get confused sometimes with my language and expectation in treatment of Su because these monkeys are humanized but can sometimes act like forest animals as they relate to Su. Therefore, I expect Mimi to act humanized sharing food etc. The clincher is that the lady teaches Mimi to shake Su treating her like a rag doll and demonstrates it to Mimi in many video's. Taking food away from another monkey is normal behaviour, monkeys share everything. Su of course doesn't like it because he can't do the same yet. Mimi is not rough with Su, she's a monkey, but she should not have to carry him while walking on two limbs. It's bad for her hips and lumbar. The owner has given her the mandate of babysitter, she should be happy that Mimi has accepted the task and let her have him. We cannot expect monkeys to behave as humans, even if humans raise them and they wear clothes. They will always stay monkeys. And that's good, isn't it? We need a diversity of species in this world.

I began watching this channel because 2 monkeys were being raised together. As they aged, i was happy to see older monkeys kept rather than discarded. This is rare because most monkey owners get rid of monkeys when the cuteness wears off at about 1 year old. I like Kuku because he is calm, caring, friendly, behaves well, automatically helpful even when not asked, just a nice monkey and could be a nice human. Also Kuku's stories are mostly very good. 👍🏽 I dislike Mimi because she is the exact opposite of Kuku. She is selfish, is only helpful when asked - not instinctive (well with a few things), greedy, and mostly cares about herself. 👎🏽 Of course the owner has raised both to be the way they are :( - She is strict and demanding of Kuku and he gets punished and always has consequences for being bad. He is very submissive and always wants to please, his owner. - She lets Mimi do what she wants. Mimi is never punished or has any consequences for her actions. Mimi is praised for most "everything" she does. She is allowed to eat a lot of most any food she wants to eat. She is never encouraged to limit her eating to her share of the food. Mimi never comes when first called. Mimi does want to please her owner but oftentimes will take her time to do so. Maybe the owner did not teach Mimi like she did Kuku because Mimi has always, from a very young monkey, been "special" with injuring herself, having tantrums, rocking herself, being greedy, and oftentimes being mean. [Note: I have seen all of this on several videos,] Or maybe Mimi is only mean to Su because she resents no longer being the youngest monkey or maybe because she resents being assigned to Su as his baby sitter, or both. 🤔
Please don't be so hard on Mimi, she is clearly traumatized . We don't know what she has gone through in her life, we only see a few minutes a day. Mimi is obviously not fed well because she eats like she is starved. I believe she feels she has to be greedy for survival. Kuku was always very charming to watch because he seemed to have a happiness in his eyes. But when he got replaced by the baby, I don't see that sparkle in his eyes any more. Kuku seems sad about something and I think he feels he has lost his place in the family and that was why he kept pushing Su away from the mother and kept jumping in her lap. I totally adore Kuku and hope this family can find their way to bringing some sort of happiness to all of them because none of them could be returned to the wild and survive.
@@ThatBlondeGirl767 Thank you for your comment and I understand what you say. This owner had Mimi, I saw in the earliest video spring 2021. Clearly something has happened to Mimi as she acted exactly the same way in those 2021 video's as she does now. I searched every video as far back as that and sadly never found that the owner got any help with her condition. All vets worldwide have access to medical research on monkey behavioral conditions. The owner did not say that she tried so I suspect she did not. She also did not get medical attention for her other animals including Kuku with his arm so ...... 😢 This owner does feed them. Up until she brought Su in (Nov 2022) Kuku and Mimi have eaten extremely well (from the videos) and it was a lot more variety than what we see now. 99% of all we see them eat now is fruit, yogurt, some popcorn and chips. Not sure what is happening there, but Mimi was an "eating machine" back in the earliest videos in 2021 and it continues today. Seems that she is smart enough to realize after years of living with this owner, she will get plenty of food. Even with trauma, she should have figured this out in the 3+ years. However, no matter what the food, she ALWAYS eats like she has not eaten in many months. She has done this all of her life. A few months ago, I thought she may have a tape worm, but this is a parasite and by now, she would have severe medical problems and died without medical attention. If it is an eating disorder, she would eat more often (can't really tell from videos) and be over weight, but the owner weighed all of them a couple of days ago and Mimi's weight is on target for what I estimate as her age. I am perplexed but do not believe Mimi feels she has to eat for survival. She does not seem to eat constantly but when she sees food, she has a little tantrum and when she gets to it, she crams it down like she has not eaten for months and will not eat for months to come. 🤷♀
You are a joy to talk with about these monkeys as you are very knowledgeable about them. I haven't seen their very early videos. But just what Mimi displays now, there is definitely something wrong with her and I hate that this owner just dumps Su on her to take care of. I think Mimi tries to take care of him because she has displayed protective behavior over him. I think Kuku doesn't like him because he feels Su replaced him in the family. I love the stump tail macaques so much that I thought about getting one but after so much research about what they need to give them as normal as possible of an upbringing I could not provide. And then the icing on the cake was to learn they are poached from their mothers. I love them so much that I will leave the one I would have had with it's mother and just wish more people would do the same. You take care and happy monkey watching. 😄

I got addicted to watching these channels early 2022 and I am ashamed to say that it has taken up waaaayyyyy too many of my woman hours :) It is so very addictive and now I am trying to wean myself to watch no more than 3 channels. I pay attention to the details and often do intense research to understand the species. The stump tail macaques are my favorite also. They are tiny, fat, cute, intelligent, and fuzzy! What's not to love lol! For the adults, they only grow to 2 feet tall and weigh about 25 lbs - still "What's not to love" :) All that said, I do realize they are planned stories with staged actors as they train the monkeys to do their part in the video. So I feel a bit foolish sometimes disagreeing with the owners. HOWEVER, it is easy to detect when the monkeys are mistreated. The owners do things like show mistreatment and abuse on the video's but it is easy to detect from the monkey behavior. I feel from my study of the video's and research primarily on behavior, (habits, reactions, interactions with each other and interactions with humans) etc., I provide my comments with some intimate knowledge. But I gotta stop. 🤦
The owner had Mimi before Kuku, from my going back as far as possible with videos, looks like the beginning of the channel. From VERY young, Mimi stuffed food down, even if she had just eaten and suddenly saw more food, she would act like she was starving and when allowed, would stuff it down. I think she has an eating disorder. She was like an eating machine since about 2 - 3 months old. Sad but it's in the videos.
So you got people con making them think it cost to much for clothes toys etc so they send it an money to as you tell them vet bills are high when all along the money you get from UA-cam that you don't pay taxes on you bringing in about a grand a week you house getting lots of new updates
That Mimi monkey is very greedy when it come to food she does not want the other two to have anything. She is older and meaner than Kuku that lady lets her do what ever she wants to do. She is going to hurt the baby.
After reading lots of comments I think it is high time this lady demonstrated some control and discipline over Mimi.. if you continue to allow Mimi to abuse the little one, then I think you are going to loose viewers. It is frustrating for us to watch Mimi being horrible and abusive towards Su and being encouraged to do so, instead of being reprimanded for doing wrong to the little one. They live in your house, so the expectation is that they will behave, you would not let children behave in this manner, you should not let the monkey do so. If you want them to behave wild, then return them to the forrest where they can run wild..Nip her ears everything she abuses Su.,

Il faut vermifuger les singes, comme les chiots. Ils vivent dehors...pas dans un appartement. Le danger par contre ne sont pas les vers qu'ils peuvent avoir, c'est que 80% sont porteurs du HepB et pleins d'autres virus.

She still does whatever she wants. That said, all of her life she has inflicted pain on herself, frequently rocks, and has tantrums. I looked at all videos early last year and again a few weeks ago. I see no historical videos of medical attention for her or Kuku.

I don't think Kuku is afraid of Su. I believe he just doesn't like him. I think that If Su had been integrated into the family early and differently, rather than sent to the dogs and mimi tasked to baby sit, all would be a happy family now.

Well, this started as cute video with Su trying to open the box. It went from 👍 to 👎soon after Ku and Mimi entered. The lady once again (as she frequently does) started shaking Su and jerking him back and forth like he was a rag doll or a stuffed play toy - yelling yeah- yeah- yeah. 😡 Su's fun totally ended. Clearly Kuku will not have anything to do with Su but the lady's actions encouraged (as always) Mimi to do the same with shaking Su as was evident when Mimi started snatching Su back and forth and up and down while growling at her. As usual the lady did not make a comment to Mimi to let her know that it was wrong to do that - because whatever Mimi wants to do is perfectly ok! Not only was it ok, the lady had taught Mimi to do this to and with Su. Thus, I call her "the lady" and not "mom" because WHAT KIND OF MOTHER TEACHES THIS???? Thank you lady for teaching this to Mimi - as if she was not already mean enough to Su.
As always it was frustrating to watch Mimi's spastic movements, acting like she had not eaten for several months. 😱 Kuku remained the gentleman waiting until the lady informed him that it was time to eat the snack. I know that these are animals - and are from wild animal families, but they are suppose to be humanized from living and being taught/trained by humans; however, Mimi must have missed "SEVERAL" lessons. 😖You thought you humanized her? Well many times, she acts like a wild animal. 😡😡

I get confused sometimes with my language and expectation in treatment of Su because these monkeys are humanized but can sometimes act like forest animals as they relate to Su.
Example: Hard to be mad at Mimi (the monkey) slamming Su around because monkeys do this in the forest; however, Mimi is running around in a diaper and a dress as if she is humanized. Therefore, I expect Mimi to act humanized sharing food etc. The clincher is that the lady teaches Mimi to shake Su treating her like a rag doll and demonstrates it to Mimi in many video's. Should I be mad at Mimi?

Never be angry with an animal please. Mimi is rough and a stress-eater who mostly shows abnormal behaviour. That's not her fault, she doesn't live happily in her situation. Taking food away from another monkey is normal behaviour, monkeys share everything. Su of course doesn't like it because he can't do the same yet. Mimi is not rough with Su, she's a monkey, but she should not have to carry him while walking on two limbs. It's bad for her hips and lumbar. The owner has given her the mandate of babysitter, she should be happy that Mimi has accepted the task and let her have him.
We cannot expect monkeys to behave as humans, even if humans raise them and they wear clothes. They will always stay monkeys. And that's good, isn't it? We need a diversity of species in this world.

I think Mimi is use to having her buddy Kuku available to pal around with and when he is not available, Mimi gets lonely. Her afterthought is Su and this is when she asks/looks for Su. Also the lady has given her a feeling of responsibility to baby sit and Mimi wants to please her.
My afterthought is why the heck do I spend so much time trying to figure out what I see on a hand full of monkey video's? 🤔 I have so much else to do that is truly worthy of being done 😂😂😂 All of this speculating is sucking up my time. I am addicted to the welfare of several monkeys. 🤦♀

I began watching this channel because 2 monkeys were being raised together. As they aged, i was happy to see older monkeys kept rather than discarded. This is rare because most monkey owners get rid of monkeys when the cuteness wears off at about 1 year old.
I like Kuku because he is calm, caring, friendly, behaves well, automatically helpful even when not asked, just a nice monkey and could be a nice human. Also Kuku's stories are mostly very good. 👍🏽
I dislike Mimi because she is the exact opposite of Kuku. She is selfish, is only helpful when asked - not instinctive (well with a few things), greedy, and mostly cares about herself. 👎🏽
Of course the owner has raised both to be the way they are :(
- She is strict and demanding of Kuku and he gets punished and always has consequences for being bad. He is very submissive and always wants to please, his owner.
- She lets Mimi do what she wants. Mimi is never punished or has any consequences for her actions. Mimi is praised for most "everything" she does. She is allowed to eat a lot of most any food she wants to eat. She is never encouraged to limit her eating to her share of the food. Mimi never comes when first called. Mimi does want to please her owner but oftentimes will take her time to do so.
Maybe the owner did not teach Mimi like she did Kuku because Mimi has always, from a very young monkey, been "special" with injuring herself, having tantrums, rocking herself, being greedy, and oftentimes being mean. [Note: I have seen all of this on several videos,] Or maybe Mimi is only mean to Su because she resents no longer being the youngest monkey or maybe because she resents being assigned to Su as his baby sitter, or both. 🤔
Please don't be so hard on Mimi, she is clearly traumatized . We don't know what she has gone through in her life, we only see a few minutes a day. Mimi is obviously not fed well because she eats like she is starved. I believe she feels she has to be greedy for survival. Kuku was always very charming to watch because he seemed to have a happiness in his eyes. But when he got replaced by the baby, I don't see that sparkle in his eyes any more. Kuku seems sad about something and I think he feels he has lost his place in the family and that was why he kept pushing Su away from the mother and kept jumping in her lap. I totally adore Kuku and hope this family can find their way to bringing some sort of happiness to all of them because none of them could be returned to the wild and survive.
@@ThatBlondeGirl767 Thank you for your comment and I understand what you say. This owner had Mimi, I saw in the earliest video spring 2021. Clearly something has happened to Mimi as she acted exactly the same way in those 2021 video's as she does now. I searched every video as far back as that and sadly never found that the owner got any help with her condition. All vets worldwide have access to medical research on monkey behavioral conditions. The owner did not say that she tried so I suspect she did not. She also did not get medical attention for her other animals including Kuku with his arm so ...... 😢
This owner does feed them. Up until she brought Su in (Nov 2022) Kuku and Mimi have eaten extremely well (from the videos) and it was a lot more variety than what we see now.
99% of all we see them eat now is fruit, yogurt, some popcorn and chips. Not sure what is happening there, but Mimi was an "eating machine" back in the earliest videos in 2021 and it continues today. Seems that she is smart enough to realize after years of living with this owner, she will get plenty of food. Even with trauma, she should have figured this out in the 3+ years. However, no matter what the food, she ALWAYS eats like she has not eaten in many months. She has done this all of her life. A few months ago, I thought she may have a tape worm, but this is a parasite and by now, she would have severe medical problems and died without medical attention. If it is an eating disorder, she would eat more often (can't really tell from videos) and be over weight, but the owner weighed all of them a couple of days ago and Mimi's weight is on target for what I estimate as her age.
I am perplexed but do not believe Mimi feels she has to eat for survival. She does not seem to eat constantly but when she sees food, she has a little tantrum and when she gets to it, she crams it down like she has not eaten for months and will not eat for months to come. 🤷♀
You are a joy to talk with about these monkeys as you are very knowledgeable about them. I haven't seen their very early videos. But just what Mimi displays now, there is definitely something wrong with her and I hate that this owner just dumps Su on her to take care of. I think Mimi tries to take care of him because she has displayed protective behavior over him. I think Kuku doesn't like him because he feels Su replaced him in the family. I love the stump tail macaques so much that I thought about getting one but after so much research about what they need to give them as normal as possible of an upbringing I could not provide. And then the icing on the cake was to learn they are poached from their mothers. I love them so much that I will leave the one I would have had with it's mother and just wish more people would do the same. You take care and happy monkey watching. 😄

I got addicted to watching these channels early 2022 and I am ashamed to say that it has taken up waaaayyyyy too many of my woman hours :) It is so very addictive and now I am trying to wean myself to watch no more than 3 channels. I pay attention to the details and often do intense research to understand the species. The stump tail macaques are my favorite also. They are tiny, fat, cute, intelligent, and fuzzy! What's not to love lol! For the adults, they only grow to 2 feet tall and weigh about 25 lbs - still "What's not to love" :)
All that said, I do realize they are planned stories with staged actors as they train the monkeys to do their part in the video. So I feel a bit foolish sometimes disagreeing with the owners. HOWEVER, it is easy to detect when the monkeys are mistreated. The owners do things like show mistreatment and abuse on the video's but it is easy to detect from the monkey behavior. I feel from my study of the video's and research primarily on behavior, (habits, reactions, interactions with each other and interactions with humans) etc., I provide my comments with some intimate knowledge. But I gotta stop. 🤦
The owner had Mimi before Kuku, from my going back as far as possible with videos, looks like the beginning of the channel. From VERY young, Mimi stuffed food down, even if she had just eaten and suddenly saw more food, she would act like she was starving and when allowed, would stuff it down. I think she has an eating disorder. She was like an eating machine since about 2 - 3 months old. Sad but it's in the videos.

That Mimi monkey is very greedy when it come to food she does not want the other two to have anything. She is older and meaner than Kuku that lady lets her do what ever she wants to do. She is going to hurt the baby.
After reading lots of comments I think it is high time this lady demonstrated some control and discipline over Mimi.. if you continue to allow Mimi to abuse the little one, then I think you are going to loose viewers. It is frustrating for us to watch Mimi being horrible and abusive towards Su and being encouraged to do so, instead of being reprimanded for doing wrong to the little one. They live in your house, so the expectation is that they will behave, you would not let children behave in this manner, you should not let the monkey do so. If you want them to behave wild, then return them to the forrest where they can run wild..Nip her ears everything she abuses Su.,

Il faut vermifuger les singes, comme les chiots. Ils vivent dehors...pas dans un appartement. Le danger par contre ne sont pas les vers qu'ils peuvent avoir, c'est que 80% sont porteurs du HepB et pleins d'autres virus.

No, she is a stress-eater. Deworming is important, for the monkeys and the puppies because they're outside.
@@xy2966 I wonder what she is stressed from. She's exactly as she was as a very young monkey. Her eating still accommodated. Her misbehaving still never addressed and never reprimanded. She still does whatever she wants. That said, all of her life she has inflicted pain on herself, frequently rocks, and has tantrums. I looked at all videos early last year and again a few weeks ago. I see no historical videos of medical attention for her or Kuku.

Mimi is very rough but watch, how she obeys the rules of hierarchy when she's with Kuku.... I felt so sorry for all the puppies that came into her paws...
