    I loved this technique you used except for one thing...you have to make your viewers aware that you have to cut velvet in the same direction so that the shine goes in the same direction so that you don't get a light and dark effect. Unless that's the look you are going for.

    • @DesignsbyLIAMLI
      @DesignsbyLIAMLI  5 років тому

      Thank you I will keep that in mind If I do another velvet video this year!

    Hey I was wondering how do you put your zipper in. Or is the fabric really stretchy that it’s not needed?

    • @DesignsbyLIAMLI
      @DesignsbyLIAMLI  6 років тому +1

      yes so this fabric is so stretchy it doesn't need a zipper

    Hello, I have a few questions. Where do you get your material from and how much is it? I'm on a budget because my mom is making me a prom dress for the following year, but she's very cheap. So what kind of material can I get on a budget where it doesn't look cheap, it looks similar to the material you use. I want a spandex type dress with a embroidery lace top something along those effects. The color would be pink or pink and white. I'm 5'6, my waist is small but my breast are huge (42h)I wear size 15-16 in pants/jeans, and I think my waist is like 28-30 inches. So I want a tight fitting dress but I don't have a booty. What would you suggest? I really want to look good at my prom. I'm 16 years old. But what material would you suggest and how many yards eacH?

      I folded it in half the long way and cut a half Circle so when I opened it, there was a full circle. Then sewed elastic in the hem.
