I cant even with this interviewer. Rosalia is so talented and he didnt really bother asking about her own music and artistry.
She's so humble. *She already won 6 Grammys, this is her seventh.* She won 6 Latin Grammys last year, this is her first American Grammy. But of course, the interviewer didn't knew that.
I feel this interviewer is so disrespectful basing most of the interview on questions about collaborations or thoughts on other artists. Rosalía produces such good music, and she deserved to be asked questions about her artistry. This is the Grammy's where she is being recognized for her music, not others. Please find a more qualified interviewer who can ask better and more respectful questions. Foreign artists don't deserve their relevance to be belittled by collaborations.

She got famous by her own music. Yes obviously she got a lot of clout with Travis but it just Made more people to know her. She was already famous herself. I can’t wait for her song with Billie!

So, no. The fact that the interviewer is only asking about other famous artists like Billie is because is what the headlines are about, not because she owed them anything regarding her career or success.

Since u dont ask her about the amazing album, let me explain u whats about, btw, sorry for my bad english and it long but worth it. Lets start: WHY "EL MAL QUERER" IS A MASTERPIECE:
'El mal querer' is Rosalía's last album. It tells a story about toxic love and patriarchal violence using characters, symbols and Roman Andalusian contexts. The album talks about a toxic love story of 11 chapters with an incredible production of her and El Guincho and a lot of flamenco inspiration. The album is inspired by a 13th century novel called Flamenca that focuses on a toxic relationship as I said.
The protagonists of 'El mal querer' are the abusive husband, the wife and a lover. In chapter 4 ("De aquí no sales") is a clear example of how her husband treated her; in the song it is as if the man was talking to his wife, telling her that she'll stay at home and that she will do what he wants. You can also listen to motorcycles and many "clappings" (which symbolizes when the man hits the woman) and Rosalia "screaming" (The screams of pain of the woman when he hits her). Then, she (Rosalia in the video clip) takes the motorcycle and escapes from there (if you look, in the video clip you can see her smiling a little when she takes the motorcycle, which is when she escapes).
In chapter 8 ("Di mi nombre") is when she finds his lover and falls in love again.
Chapter 10 is when she kills her toxic ex-husband (in the song you can see two transitions: the first is when fights with him * again * and the second time is when she cant handle with this anymore so she kills him.)
And in chapter 11, she reflects about what she has been through, since the song says "I do not consent to any man who gives my sentence. Only God can judge me, only I owe him obedience."

Hispanic's are Spanish speaking people from Spanish speaking countries (Spain and Latin American countries) and Latinas are people of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race.

@@orlandoromero5166 You're wrong dude Latino or Latina is an adjective that comes from the Latinus word and refers to the people who speak languages derived from Latin. Like French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese... so she is Latina as people from France, Portugal, Spain, Romania.
The thing is that U.S has adopted that adjective to refers to the people from all those countries that you named, which is completely wrong.

It is important for interviewers to research a bit about the artists they are interviewing. Rosalia is not really a "new" artist. The fact that she is not known (YET) in the US because she sings mostly in Spanish, does not make her a "new" artist. Rosalia is creating a worldwide revolution, starting in Europe and following Central and South America. She is already known by at least twice as many people compared to Billie Eilish or possibly any of the people the interviewer asked for. Her concerts are sold out everywhere, people sing along each and every single one of her songs (even not knowing Spanish! Please watch her concerts on UA-cam...) and is probably one of the most innovative and talented singers of our time. She creates amazing shows based on pure vocals and choreography that is unique and contagious. I have seen well known Grammy award winner artists in the world just paralyzed by the power of her voice. She is THE performer to watch (and to follow) in the next few years... adding a fresh and completely new style to the music of this new decade. Anyone making a duet with her should be really honored and excited!
