I love the touch that the "evil," twins are just problematic personality aspects (insulting, impulsive, self-loathing) rather than the usual "lack of morality," that usually accompanies the trope. Makes for a FAR more interesting story Also Tim Curry would've 100% been voicing Fingers if he was well enough to voice act. No doubt in my mind. But the current actor does FANTASTIC, so im not about to complain. X3
“Demon racism”, as you put it at around 4 minutes in, is one of my favorite themes of season 2. I think there are lots of ways that different minorities can relate to it. For myself, I see my experience with “autistic masking” (or hiding my autistic traits in order to better fit in and avoid social ostracization) a LOT in Courtney’s desire to “assimilate” to the neutral plane. Not to mention the line about “not being ashamed of being a demon, but wishing the world were kinder to demons”. It does a lot for Courtney’s character, and I can’t wait to see how it’s expanded upon in season 3!

It's the "musicals" thing all over again lol. Something not being most people's cup of tea in a show becoming one of the best parts of this one. Dead End is so good with stuff like that.
@@akshatnagarkar256 it’s more so the way the show approaches those things. This isn’t a show that has giant lessons or anything and normally is just talking about being yourself and having fun. The reason why musicals are hated or at least by me is there not being any real reason for it to happen. Magic going wrong with a spell that actually makes sense in context. In my opinion the biggest thing is probably what the creators think of a topic or how they want to make it work. Trust me if you have finished the show there could be small complaints about parts being predictable like how pugsley would keep temeluchus’s powers. Other than that none of the big reveals are predictable like Pauline being a ghost, who the watcher is, and how they defeat the main antagonist of the second season.

One thing yall missed, in the demon support group meeting, Hercules the bowling employee. He says he wants to be allowed to take the night of the full moon off work. Hercules is for sure a werewolf and I hope we get to see him transformed in a future episode.
Loudly applauding at my screen as Lucas draws the parallel between the demons and drug addicts. 100% CORRECT. It's been so fun to watch this reaction series, I'm loving every second.

One thing I noticed and really appreciated about Barney and Norma's relationship with Courtney is that they didn't invalidate the discomfort Courtney had with their opposite self.
I loved it when I watched it and realized what was happening (and it was so well planned too, like I realized the scene felt out of place but didn't know why).
