Thanks I like so much your videos and learn a lot. I've just converted my Sav Tundra 6mm into 9mm, renewed another Bowl, straigthten mouth piece, all thanks to you!! Cheers from Mexico / Emirates.
Great stuff - as always! And quite timely as I just recently picked up a couple of older pipes that appear to be pretty thin at the bottom of the bowl. I’ll have to see if I can find a recipe for the pipe mud that you mentioned.
Call me crazy but once I had an accident with my pipe, was left in my pocket and it went to the washer machine with Oxi clean, the pipe came out natural colour, I dry it, sanded and put a lighter colour than original. It was a happy accident.
@@Lol-1979 You wipe down the stummel for different reasons. 1. Even out the dye 2. Bring out highlights on rusticated or sandblast pipes. 3. To lighten the dye

Wish more of my accidents were happy ones. Thank you for watching.
Great job Tim. How long would you recommend letting the pipe mud dry before smoking it ?
It depends on how thick the mud is. I’ll let this pipe dry for at least three days. Thank you for watching.
Tank you That was amazing in joyed it
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Hi Tim... Can you tell me what substance you're using to clean the inside of the stem?
I use 91% isopropyl alcohol. I used to use Everclear alcohol, but I do too many pipes. Thank you for watching.
Thank you for your channel, you do a great job.

Thank You. I’m glad you enjoy the videos.
Does smoking out of a repaired bowl taste different than all natural briar?
No different taste especially once you have created some carbon cake in the bowl.
Okay I have a question...I notice on the wall you have 3 banners; Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn. Who is your favorite team?
Looks good to me
Thank You
Why you wiped the dye with alcohol after you apply it?
@@Lol-1979
You wipe down the stummel for different reasons.
1. Even out the dye
2. Bring out highlights on rusticated or sandblast pipes.

@@The_Southland_Piper but the dye wont go away?

Some is removed but not much.
