I had to step out of the live and come back afterward. You said a mouthful with your testimony about feeling “well”. I was talking about the same thing a few months back. I don’t want to keep taking the trauma forward. I just want to be comfortable within me and at peace. I don’t want to leave this earth carrying that. I think we have to consciously work on it every single day until we overcome.
When you are talking about how people make you feel it's like you are reading my life story. I'm so tired of feeling this way but I can't help it because know matter how people treat me I let them pull me back in because I can't hurt them or have to help them. I tried so hard to let people go that have said nasty things to me over and over in my life but it's like I do it over and over.
Your comment resonated with me and I felt compelled to reach out. I am 57 years old and I realized a long time ago that we deal with and put up with what we feel we deserve. If we KNOW that we are worthy and deserving of being treated well and being loved, that is how we will live our lives. Why do you allow people to treat you as anything less than what you deserve? We teach people how to treat us. There is nothing wrong with eliminating toxic people from our lives - even if they are family. If you are dealing with people who hurt you or leave you feeling bad, what is the purpose of them being in your life? There is none. I'm not saying to cut people off completely. Some people you have to cut off, but some people you feed with a long handled spoon. Everything starts with you! Why do you not value yourself? Start uplifting yourself and say daily affirmations about yourself. You said you don't want to hurt people and you want to help them. That means you are care about people's feeling and you have empathy. Don't you deserve the same from others?

Beautiful joy, we are fixers. That's what we are, we're always trying to fix somebody else's problem. And never taken in the consideration how we fail. We feel we put everything on the back burner and say OK. We're fine, O k, it's OKOK. We'll work on that, it's just our nature. And sometimes we need to stop putting ourselves first. And then everybody else after, it's okay to be that friend. When you need something, I'm there. When you need something, I'll fix it. I'll help you out, but sometimes it backfires on all of us. I'm starting to realize that as I got older. I love you, you are a great person
I feel like women who thinks another woman wearing “revealing” clothes around her man is a form of disrespect, specifically if it’s a stranger to said man (or woman) or someone they’re not always around, is REALLY SAYING, “I don’t trust my man to not fall into temptation and instead of holding him accountable for that I’m gonna blame the woman who’s just literally existing and looking good.” It screams insecurity and trust issues. I would never give a rats ass about something like this. Be with someone you trust and you won’t fear will cheat on you if a fine woman comes around flaunting 🤷🏽♀️

Thank you Godfearing. I agree with you 100%. I'm in my 70s n still feel like I don't fit in so I decided to do me n when negative people come around I no longer go home n feel sad. That's why I use to drink. But no more! I found Jesus n He is the only one I need to think about! I prefer being by myself. When I get sad or lonely. I go outside n hang out with the birds, sky, my flowers n plants. I wasted too many years, worrying about the wrong things. Enjoy you Ms Joy n keep doing your videos. You are very helpful. Thank you

A lot of those same feelings come with being in or taking on leadership roles. Have you considered changing your routines? Sometimes, that may have to come with changing your location and associates to reinvent yourself. Doesn't have to be permanent, but the space and change of environment can make a difference. Certain associations can bind you in a rut.

First of all, I just discovered your channel. I'm 64, and what you're experiencing currently, I am currently 😮experiencing as well. My mom passed away in Jan. 2024, and it has affected me negatively & I didn't know just how much my unresolved childhood trauma has worn me down. Girl, I'm a hott mess & I've been isolating myself in fear of rejection. I'm tired of trying to be nice in exchange for acceptance &/or love. I've started therapy, and I'm now processing my childhood trauma & this stuff is painful. I 'thought ' I was OK, when in reality I haven't been." My childhood trauma involved both my mom & dad & so much more. I'm learning to respect, love & nurture that little girl now. It's crazy that I found you & this particular video today & you were saying literally everything I'm going through. Thankfully, you are 30 years younger than myself & you're able to address your issues & begin the healing process now instead of when you're 64 years old like myself. I'm single,and all of my family is in heaven. I have no children .. just 2 cats. I'm a CHILDLESS CAT lady. I'm on the same journey as you. I'm going to follow you on your journey. ❤ Much love to you.

Joy… Thx for sharing your story. I’ve gone through some of save things and still going through it. What I learned is that we are supposed to be used. To be *used* is to be useful. We can’t be useful if we aren’t used. We should let God use us and others, but we have to know when we are being despitefully used and when to walk away.
*Despitefully* means in a way that shows you want to hurt, upset, or annoy another person because you feel angry towards them.
Some people literally try to drag us in the ground and take us down because they feel down and they see that we are moving up. They are mad for reasons that are not right.
The closer we get to Christ, the more discernment he will give us to see who people really are. God opened my eyes and showed me how people who say that they love me really do not have my best interest. Keep being yourself and being the good person that you are. The Lord is your shepherd and your protector.
