Love your collection! I homeschooled my 10 kids and the boys especially loved to explore the woods. Ontario. They started to bring skulls home and were excited to show me. Our largest was a cow. Right down to a mouse and bird . We also had a beaver, which our dog killed. Almost killed our dog. I didn't know about the rules. But they're all gone now. Certainly a good lesson for school.

I've been waiting for this video :-) It was very interesting, and a collection that has a lot of room to grow still. Also love all the skull art - so much variety! I do enjoy the show and tell format a lot and wouldn't mind seeing more of these.

I liked the flash pic, I won't spoil it with the image. Your collect is awesome, I also collect skulls and bones, there just something magical and powerful about them. I have even collected owl pellets for the teeny tiny bones. Your red skull pic is super. Thanks for sharing your great collection of bones, pictures and sculptures.

I taught on a rez and knew an abattoir an artist friend wanted cow skulls for his art. I managed to get him a few. What they did on the rez was submerge the head in a slough and let "nature eat" the flesh way until there was no residue and the skull was clean enough to use.

Have you ever thought to incorporate your metal art into a natural skull? For example that shattered skull could have sheet metal "replacing" the missing parts. Just an idea, since you would be the one to do it justice for sure! Years ago I had gone to art school with an artist who created plate mail armour for animals using their skulls as fittings/reference. Such a wealthy resource for art! I can see why you collect them. Thanks for the show and tell!
