    I came to this ability stunning mosque a few days ago ..I was shocked at how beautiful it is .definetly worth visiting. One of most biggest mosques I've ever visited, I promise you,you will love it

    Beautiful addition on eastern side of istanbul. It's important that east side is also developed to same level as European side...

    One of the places I will definitely visit when I come to Istanbul next week. From what I saw on UA-cam, besides the mosque, the Museum of Islamic Civilizations is worth the visit by itself.

      @@BeryIstanbulTips just came out of it right now. It is an absolute must to visit. A beautiful state of the art museum about Islamic Civilization. And free of charge too. One of the highlights of our Istanbul stay.

    Did my wife and I meet you on the street 2 weeks ago near the Tunel by the tram stop. We were speaking Spanish and the person we met was alone and was suprised we were speaking Spanish. The person we spoke with resembled you and said she was from Mexico originally.

Edificación imponente. Supongo que Mimar también habrá enfrentado controversias y cuestionamientos en su época...El tiempo siempre se encarga de dar respuesta.....Las vistas son magníficas....Sigo tomando nota para armar el recorrido por Estambul... creo que voy a necesitar varios viajes más para disfrutar tanta belleza..       Hi! We really want to do it at least twice a week. Unfortunately our full time jobs doesn’t allow us doing more than one weekly since also my husband needs to edit, we need to structure the video content before and after filming, translations, etc. But hope soon we can do 2 per week ☺️

    Encantada de verla en persona... de nuevo voy en Enero. Quede enamorada de cada centímetro de Estambul y justo no tuve tiempo de ir a Çamlica por no saber como llegar.

      Hello! The park is called Çamlıca Tepesi, you may take a minibus right in from of the mosque where a bus station is just ask the driver “chamlica tepesi?” And they will show you what minibus and where to get off, is close to the mosque ;)

    This mousque was made by Hurram Sultan.She was queen of Sultan Sulayman Khan.(autuman king)

      This mosque was built just a few years ago, therefore it is impossible that it was built by Sultan Hürrem.
      This mosque is called Çamlıca which opened in 2019.

    They should let haga Sophia be a church. Too many mosques already. In Kas a city with 7000 souls u have 3 mosques. All about control, the same in xstianity and judaísm.

      Why doesn't Spain turn all of its old churches back into mosques because thats what they were before the moors were forced out? Sometimes you gotta just accept things.

      But which church brother?
      In 346, a preexisting wooden structure with 427 pagan idols was destroyed to build an Arian christian church, then in 415 it became a Nicean Christian church, then again in 532 it became Chalcedonian christian church. All this while eastern orthodox and latin catholics both claim it as their own.
