The surfer girl looks like my old surfing instructor from Hawaii. She had the most soothing voice so I'd be entranced while she was trying to give me tips on how to improve my surfing. Didn't help when I was out in the water.

Yeah, I've known a couple of people who didn't learn how to swim/weren't very confident that did adult beginner classes. Might be a tad awkward at the moment with the covid-19 stuff. But swimming in the sea is nice, if your coast-line is reasonably calm and can get there (sadly it's awkward on the latter part where I live) -- if you try that, make sure you go with a friend (you will obviously need to go with someone anyway to teach you anyway if you've not swam before) and look out for rip-tides (if you didn't realise to look for them before), you can google what they look are/look like. There was a place near one place that I used to live that had a pool next to the sea that get filled up with seawater when the tide comes in, and leave a pool of fresh water when they go out (or looked like that was the set-up -- I was a child at the time) for people to use. You can look for freshwater options -- there might be a list somewhere online for your country of locations where you can wild swim inland (i.e. where the water should be safe enough to do so) -- at least there is one in UK. That's where people learned/went once upon a time before swimming pools were more popular. Good luck. Hope you get to swim and surf one day.
