Especially in lower elo when u can’t trust ur support as much. And rein is def not easier the only easier part is that u don’t have to aim. Orisa tutorial to plat mby a bit more, use e if need shield if still need shield, fortify if not just shoot, if u had to fortify and ur still getting lit up then just press e again cause it’s back up after one rotation afterwards take cover for around 5 sec and u can go again. Compared to a rein shield easily gets melted then he is a sitting duck for 5 seconds. Rein gets countered by traps and other form of cc orisa fortify, rein needs shatter or pin to cancel abilities otherwise u have to hope ur shield can hold after that u have to run and beg for heals meanwhile orisa can just throw a spear like every 4 or 6 seconds. Not to mention the fact that orisa is ranged compared to Reinhardt who can only flamestrike at range. Orisa is better for everyone with a functional arm and hand to aim with in all ranks. The only reason rein would have is that his kit is basic to understand for newer players but after bronze there isn’t even a competition, rein just loses especially since there are so many orisas in ranked cause she is so busted rn.
The harassment you'll get in games for just playing Reinhardt is wild. You really do have to have a strong mental to play this character right now. Everyone will drop all the blame on you no matter what.
Ball is that but 1.5x worse. And has been pretty much since the release of ball. It is probably the truest test of mental fortitude in any multiplayer game ever. 1v9 every game

I shed a tear watching this video. I really lost myself this season 1 tricking Reinhardt. I managed to finally rank up to Diamond in the beginning of season 10 only playing Rein, but the overwhelming amount of times I played Orissa finally got to me. I started playing Winston Dva and even Zaria. Despite me titling in various comp games never once did I switch to Orissa(that’s disgusting). My hatred towards Orissa is so great I would never even think about switching to her no matter how tilted I was. This video gave me the passion and fire to lock Rein every game again no matter how many times I get flamed by my teammates. Idgaf anymore! It’s Rein or die. Switching to Orissa is akin to lighting a cig and drinking Jack Daniels. You've given up, don't care what others think and want to have fun. However, the next day you look at your replays while hungover, coughing and disgusted with yourself for not staying strong.

Find a team to play with or don't play open queue. If they have Mauga, Orisa and you are the only tank on your team it's going to be impossible. Role queue is more tolerable for solo queue players.

1:38 You can just aim a bit to the side where the hammer will begin the swing, no need to shake like that (like, 1st swing from right, you move crosshair to the right side of enemy). Works with Brig too, but needs less crosshair movement, because of the smaller hit area of the mace.

I'm a chadmattra enjoyer but CC making me crazy. Gonna switch to Rein. Even 1hp barrier is very powerful when you need it like you showed in this video. Ram is so ass right now can't really do anything since season 9 and blocking just isn't as good as barrier. I might as well play Rein. Both of these heroes gets bullied in the game and doesn't have much kill potential however Rein at least gets more value when he is bullied. Ram doesn't provide much value when he get bullied he is more of a burden on supports. Also shatter and pin more lethal than anything ram can do.
LHCloudy is the only one on the leaderboard with more than 250 wins. He has 700 wins this season. That's like 1300 games in 1 season. You don't even need to be any good to have a 51% winrate, and run it for 1000+ games.

Good guide, but i think much of this is HIGHLY dependent on having good healers. The 321 Rein can go in and feel like a god, but dies in a blaze of glory after your healers and dps sit back and do nothing.
The best Rein players from Diamond and up mostly don't play the game. You sit there and prevent the enemy from taking space. Your team gets a pick you take a little space. That's it. It's boring and sad because he can be such a fun hero to play in lower ranks.

I have more trouble with Mauga this season than I do Orisa. If Mauga is on the enemy team the only thing I can do is Spongehardt. It sucks.
