Riley deserves reassurance, loyalty and true/fierce love like hers, not doubts - she's alone now, there's no Jack nor family to protect/emotionally support her anymore.
This is one of my favorite songs and it fits so well with MacRiley. Tearful and wonderful and lovely, man if the show can't see the importance of these two it's tragic. Loving this so much.

I’ve never been so disappointed about a TV couple in my life. I just finished the series and I’m so so devastated. 💔 Season 5 was so all over the place and the whole Desi and Mac never made sense to me like him and Riley. 😢
We are here folks...finally. Mac and Riley finally see each other and the walls they put up but she told him "You have a girlfriend" So what do we do now. Its up to Desi now... BTW...I love Desi ...but she doesn't belong with Mac. Ironically, she's the other woman. She's better than that. It was painful to watch Mac realize how much he loves Riley. It broke my heart but Mac is a fighter. He'll convince her. I believe in him.
Well now we know what the writers are planning, the same as every other show turning, turning, on /of etc etc , I'm disapointed in the writers, I hoped they had the .........to take another path but they didNOT
