Another tip: If you buy refresher orb without any stat items, you probably WONT have the mana to cast chrono twice ! So make sure that you bought skadi or maybe manta+ stat item that can help sustain your mana first, before buying refresher
As always, great content. An intelliget interpretation of the current meta, expressed in a way that is easy to understand and to apply ingame. You're the GOAT, man. Hope everybody in the DOTA 2 community recognizes just how much of a staple of this game you are. Thank you for all you do!
The in-game legend, now on YT! Your guides helped even 3K nubs like me to learn what items are and do, thanks for keeping them up to date all these years!
I would also reccomend daedalus+rapier and sometimes swift blink situationally. Sometimes you just need a FUCK TON of damage to win a game. Like, you need to kill a lot of heroes yourself in chrono and daedalus+rapier(s) with a shit ton of attack speed (and probably need a nullifier too so even more dmg) can literally kill every hero in dota. Blink is essential when dealing with sniper, drow, willow, core AA, wyvern, and enchantress sweats who are tunnel-visioning your chronosphere and trying REALLY hard not to get caught out. While extreme, arcane blink+aether lens+manta+satanic is an option for long range damage dealers who have the range to right click you from the fountain. You need rapier(s) for this to work tho as otherwise you won't have enough dmg to kill them.
Swift Blink for sure, Rapier is very rare cases as you risk the possibility of losing it! I'd say Faceless Void six slots fairly quickly so the likelihood you are getting Rapier comes if the game is truly, truly late-game
Hi, Torte de Lini! was using your item guides in 90% of my games! Just stumbled across your UA-cam channel. Great content. Quick tip though: Your voice and narration is pretty good and easy to understand. I find the subtitles to be a bit distracting. There is no much need or at least keep them small. Good luck with the channel! P.S Would be also cool to see a video where you comment explain a bit about item guides, how often do you update, what things do you consider when putting them together and etc.
Hm, we could make the subtitles smaller next time! We put in subtitles because of people who may not be that good with English. About item guides explanation, I usually explain it on my personal site: TorteDeLini.com but I can also make a video about it!
We had a Spectre Tutorial but it was more jokey and funny but we found people didn't enjoy it as much as we thought so we have to redo it much more seriously!
GUYS TRY THIS BUILD ON fACELESS VOID AND TELL IM If IS SHIT PLS: starting items then: 1. BOOTS 2. MADNESS. 3.S%Y/MANTA(pretty hard to kill) 4. DISPERSER OR BUTTERfLY(depending on wich you need first in the game) 5. DISPERSER OR BUTTERfLY(depending on wich you need first in the game) 6. satanic 7. swift blink(insta crhonos). 8. bkb/refresh/skadi. try to fight constantly with your s&y
disperser is a great item choice but manta should get prioritize, cheaper price, providing more attack speed which is what he most needed, dispel for almost every matchups he faces against, and can even split-farming with mjollnir activation
You should also mention farming patterns like spreading your autos in all the creeps in a camp to optimize the proc chance of bash. and the pathing, typically you path jungle camps in a way you can time the stacking (usually at 53secs at a minute) using your time walk from camp to camp. Early game can also mean, facing a very high regen beefy boy offlaner (Timber, DK, dawnbreaker, primal beast, beastmaster, wraith king, undying, etc..). In this case, an orb of corrosion is viable as it gives hp regen reduction to enemies and also both armor and AS too for farming. Lastly, it can also be viable to go a spellbuild of maxing Q and W, especially when you have hard to reach enemies in your lane that has all 4 active abilities like windranger + snapfire lanes, etc... coz It means your dilation will actually deal more damage overall than early levels on bash.
I have a question i have trouble with fighting pa as faceless void, i usually go madness, mjolinir and mkb at mid game am i missing something? do i need to rush mkb or go manta first?
@@TorteDeLini I do time it but when i rush Mkb, i always get outplayed by enemy opponent, i just don't know what to do every time there is a pa in enemy team as faceless void also i love ur Guide in Dota 2 i always use ur item build.
Thanks for trusting my guides. Honestly, it's hard for me to know without seeing the match. You can always go for Bloodthorn instead if you get that late in the game. Or if the PA has extra survivability, you need Refresher and late-game to truly take her down. Alternatively, you can go Silver Edge
@@TorteDeLini OOOOHH so youre the guy wow😲 damn when I was starting to play DOtA 2 ,Your guide and Grey.shark was my favorite guide when Im playing unfamiliar heroes. I am indebted to you guys 😄😄
No worries. Also if you're looking for more off the beaten path builds, one of my favorites for Faceless Void is offlane vanguard > farming item (radiance, maelstrom, or battlefurry) > aghs > aura of choice. The idea is to become a tanky initiator. Your aghs timelock is a pretty big aoe on a low cooldown, and pierces bkb. You're no longer a damage dealer in the same way, instead playing to set up your ranged allies like a kotl, wr, or drow. You can skip the farming item if time is of the essence, but I usually feel much less impactful or instead of vanguard, you could try a mageslayer, if the enemy has a lot of spell damage. The idea is to play around the aghs which is fun but does not synergize with a carry playstyle. I enjoy the playstyle and it's certainly an offmeta pick.
Another tip: If you buy refresher orb without any stat items, you probably WONT have the mana to cast chrono twice ! So make sure that you bought skadi or maybe manta+ stat item that can help sustain your mana first, before buying refresher
Good point! Maybe that's why people are sometimes picking up Manta Style too!
Bloodthorn is good too bc i provides attack speed but also int
Love how detailed your videos are. And yes, refresher is a must on void as 6th item
I appreciate that! We're trying to keep it straight-forward, informative and a simple breakdown to help people get started

one of the best guide to faceless void. ive been searching around the web finding some guides and mechanics to fv. thanks
Please keep content like this coming 10/10
Gonna be doing this stuff for the coming months and updating them regularly
Time dilation doesnt tick down inside Chrono. So at 8:26 or so, just cast your W as soon as you throw up the chronosphere.
You're right! I read about this in HowDoIPlay.com but by the time we recorded it, it was too late to change the script.

Since 7.33, time dilation durations stops in chronosphere so just use it in chrono no need to wait it runs out. Especially if we use madness
Thanks!

disperser is a great item choice but manta should get prioritize, cheaper price, providing more attack speed which is what he most needed, dispel for almost every matchups he faces against, and can even split-farming with mjollnir activation
The value of Disperser is also that it provides way more Agi than Manta, thus more damage late game where Void needs it most
I always feel chrono can be a throes if u mis calculate it
Yeah definitely, gotta be patient with them and use them when it's most opportune!

The only reason I didn't go into that far of detail is the length of the video and in case things change.
Manta also is good for farming dut to movespeed+stats+illusions

because of it i lack stats, so pa always catches me first without me usinh chrono yet.
Are you hitting your timings? If PA is just massively stronger than you, you won't win.
A lot of evasion heroes still lose to Faceless Void.
