This brings back many memories. I lived in Nishi-Ogikubo for 4 years, and my wife and I often walked from our house into Kichijoji and also go to Inokashira Koen, especially during Sakura time. I miss Japan.
Thank you so much for doing this! I just recently watched your first video, as well as this one. Natsukashii! I lived next to Inokashira Koen Eki for nine years and spent a lot of time walking through Inokashira Koen and Kichijoji. I was there 1985 - 1994, and the last time I visited was 2017. Good memories!! I am hoping to be there during sakura season 2022. How I miss Japan! It is my second home.
Thanks a lot! I always watch a lot of video about japan from your channel. Your video not only helps me to have a hope to go to Japan, but also helps me to analyse about japan urban design. About the pedestrian, facilities, park, drainage, store, etc. (Cause I'm architecture student though) so thanks a lot!
@29:32 You missed the most significant aspect of the park. The Kanda River starts at a well to the right of that double moon bridge. The well is called "Ochanomizu" just like the station on the Chuo Line where the Kanda River eventually joins the Sumida River. You can go to Inokashira Pond on Google Maps and click on the monument icon お茶ノ水. Inokashira Pond is actually dotted with several springs, but the one you can actually drink from is the Ochanomizu Well, though it's cordononed off.
I am Japenese. kichijoji is called mini Shinjuku or Shibuya. In addition, Machida, Hachioji, Tachikawa, Kinshicho, Kawagoe, Urawa, Omiya, Kashiwa, Chiba Station, Matsudo, Funabashi, Kawasaki etc, are called so.
In all your videos I have sot seen one dirty or muddy car or vehicle yet. I have noticed tha the crows have a bit different caw than they do here. Nice walk in the park. Thanks.
The streets are pretty narrow compare in the U.S amazing the bus pass by so close to the kid walking. As usual the quality of the Pictures are amazing thank you.
I love this video it really makes me feel like I'm walking there with you. I have never been to Japan and this might be the closest I will get. I have a preconceived Idea of Tokyo and your videos show how diverse a town it is. Amazingly good
i love this channel. It brings back great memories when I was on holidays in japan decades ago. I stayed at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Hotel Hakone Kowakien, Shima Kanko Hotel in Ise Shima and Kyoto Tokyu Hotel so I can hope you can film those hotels and their surrounding areas.
So I found out about Inokashira Park through Persona 5 and wanted to see how it looked in the real world, and I have to say, it’s absolutely impressive. I can’t believe that a place this peaceful looking is completely in the middle of Tokyo and it doesn’t look like there’s a skyscraper in sight. I’ll say it again, this looks like a really peaceful place.
A huge park of excellence and beauty of magnificence.Perfect park for evening stroll and viewing of scenic river.A park for leisure with pleasure!!!🍀🌿☘🌱🥀🌼🌺🏵🍃🍀☘🌱🌿🌿
I decide place, some suggested in comments. Then I just walk to that place from the station and around. I do not plan what roads to walk, just general direction.
What kind of memory card do you usually use for filming these long walks in 4K? And would you recommend the EC1 stabilizer? Does it have good battery life? The DJI Ronin-S is coming out, but it seems too big to carry around for walks like this, so I'm looking for a smaller handheld stabilizer, such as the one you use. Keep up the walks! Love them!
I thought I was subscribed but that was on my private channrl and only to your live channel on my public channel. Anyway I subscribed. Doing any live walks this weekend? I may have to do a live walk/show from my channel this saturday as I haven't been able to get a guest! Usually your lives are in my very early morning so I hoefully won't miss it😊
Last weekend I went for hiking mountains and there was no signal at all so I just recorded without live. I will try to stream some evening video tomorrow and very likely weekend too.
Not sure what is the problem, suddenly it says recording was stopped because memory card is not fast enough. So if I don't notice it part of walk get lost as I rarely check camera screen. Card itself is U3 class, so 30Mbyta/s should be more than enough for 150Mbit/s (20Mbyte/s). It work without any problem for a year. For now I just cleaned card contacts.
I was going to suggest "Backup Rec", it would severly lower the chances you loose footage, but since you can't stop to extract the video, and format the cards, it's useless. I use SanDisk, and they will send you a new card if your's malfunctions. If that's your case, I suggest keep doing what you're doing, plus keeping track of malfunction settings, might help them find the issue with the card, and it will help you get a new one.
How can a country be so majestic.. I am in awe with every bit of Japan.
This brings back many memories. I lived in Nishi-Ogikubo for 4 years, and my wife and I often walked from our house into Kichijoji and also go to Inokashira Koen, especially during Sakura time. I miss Japan.
0:45 I was very concerned about the little boy walking in front of the bus.
@Tripp Bryson Nice fraud
I was expecting the crowds to be much louder! I loved this experience, as I might never get to come here myself. Thank you for sharing these videos!

You've done it again Mr.cinematographer. So many captured views that i'd love to frame and put on the wall. Too many cutie-pie alerts to list as well.
Thank you for your walking video, helpful for tourists.
井の公で楳図先生に挨拶するのが朝のルーチンだったよ

Japan is indeed an orderly and courteous country. I can’t even find someone jaywalking which is a norm in my country.
25:53 Haha loved that dog!
Since when did jpn become so noisy🤔 havent been there for 4 years
The good old days!!
Damn they made these areas from Persona 5 into a real thing?
You have so many videos and all of it is beautiful. Did you plan the walk, or is most bit of japan this beautiful?
I decide place, some suggested in comments. Then I just walk to that place from the station and around. I do not plan what roads to walk, just general direction.
am your 500 like, I hope you get 1000 likes 😎

I just got SunDisk 256Gb U3 cards because my Lexar 256Gb U3 cards started failing.
I'm thinking between Beholder Pivot and Ronin-S.

Rambalac Cool😊 Hopefully I wake up in time and youtube gets me the notification!
If tommorow it will be around 6pm Japan.
Rambalac Ahhh. I'm still at work until 19.00 JST. What time at the weekend?
I can start at 19 jst, maybe even more reliable start.
Weekend earlier better if make myself to get up.
Вот это парк! Спасибо за видео. А музей Гибли будет видео?
Он должен был быть, но сохранился только в лайв стриме 720р.
So clearn
Спасибо
Delivering, as always.
Fixed the memory card issue? I know those are expensive as hell.

Card itself is U3 class, so 30Mbyta/s should be more than enough for 150Mbit/s (20Mbyte/s). It work without any problem for a year. For now I just cleaned card contacts.
Do you use 2 SD Cards at the same time?
Yes, but stupid thing is even if it says one card is too slow it stops recording whole.
I was going to suggest "Backup Rec", it would severly lower the chances you loose footage, but since you can't stop to extract the video, and format the cards, it's useless.
