I take a journey around the East Cape of the North Island (New Zealand) heading out from Lake Taupo on a primo afternoon with perfect riding conditions!
The first leg of my ride will be a solo mission to the awesome Island View Holiday Park just north of Opotiki where I will overnight and then hit the road again at zero dark early to get onto the epic State Highway 5.
I stop in at the Te Araroa Holiday Park to link up with a solid group - the Iron Horse Riders.
