Sadly the voice is not aging well, too much mannerisms, it works for Bartolli because the voice is on place. Still much better than many "raising stars" we hear on theaters today. Opera standards are downhill since the early 90's, probably rushed careers and lack of founding to let people fully develop.
I think she still sounds amazing. Her control is better than most can dream of, and her tone is pure. This specific aria is supposed to be a young girl begging her fathers' permission to marry her love. This is an aria where you're supposed to show personality. When I performed this in college my vocal coach said to "have fun with it". I think her mannerisms are just her trying to convey the message to the audience, as if the audience were her father. But she's always had "opera hands" even looking back to performances from 10 years ago.
It's the differences in early vs late performances that give depth to a performer's career. Remember Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now." Diana's not over the hill yet.

Oh, and by the way I follow you on Instagram only under a different name but I do agree with you that she is absolutely amazing and that is never going to change. Honestly, I think the person who said what they said about her voice not eating well it’s just a snob. I’m sorry that’s my personal opinion.

She sings it well, but the over-the-top histrionic acting style is too much. She floats her notes nicely at the end of the aria.
She's doing it to be funny. The opera and this scene are supposed to be funny.
