- A visit to Brownhills Motorhomes 10 June 2023 and we show you this lovely 4 berth Fiat based camper from Benimar with 4 travelling seats and a decent amount of storage perhaps the only let down was the lack of lighting from above - particularly in the bathroom which from what we could see had no ventilation.
I like to film Ducato based campers to give myself and others a look at little things I could use or ingenious storage hacks etc, also there’s always the next van…..
Please feel free to correct any errors I make in the comments, I film these to show others round and get ideas for my van and my next van especially storage hacks.

Hi! We're Rick, Heather & our dog Poppy and we travel in Pearl our Elddis CV20 campervan.
We film the places we visit as our own diary, these videos are meant as a little memento for us but we're happy to share them with you if you want to watch.
We're just an ordinary couple in our 50's filming our adventures with basic equipment so don't expect loads of flash camera action and super editing with great music.
We also film videos of work we have done on our van as well as van reviews for our reference of the next van we might buy. Occasionally there are hints & tips videos too. We do basic site and area reviews including if they’re dog friendly but they’re a guide only based on our opinions which may or may not help you make an informed decision on if you’d like the place.
We do a mix of off grid camping, pub stopovers plus real campsites too, hopefully something for everyone to enjoy!

Some nice features. Wouldn’t like such a tiny washroom. Also prefer the fridge at eye level. Interesting how they made the dinette area smaller to create more length for the beds.
Yeah all compromises I guess the ideal van doesn’t exist 🤣
That is almost identical to the Autotrail adventure 65 we are waiting on! Identical layout.

That shower room was awful with no ventilation, nice van especially if you were off with 3 Spice Girls😂😂Cheers K.
Yeah bathroom was an issue… easy choice if I can only take 3 🤣
Good review. I would be so claustrophobic in that bathroom without a window. I wouldn’t suggest anyone actually keep their medications in there either. Thanks for reviewing this one. 😊💕

Like the van on the outside and colour scheme, the inside seems not to flow and some of materials look a bit cheaper than others you've shown us previously
Yeah it was just a layout I hadn’t seen really but I guess it’s hard to fit so much in the space
the blinds are dometic not remis mate also you may be suprised to hear the shower doent suffer any condesation etc even with no window or vent

The new van itself from Fiat is now delayed until at least September then has to be converted so we’re guessing Late October or November…. Not in a rush though so no worries
I would imagine the window in the loo is an option tbh and they are just being tight

Was the seats at the back definitely 6ft? It looked like with the small locker that it would be shorter but sometimes the camera makes things look smaller than they are so wondered if that was the case and it was bigger in reality? It did look longer at certain angles as you went through. Would you say it was bigger than CV20?
The front looked nice but shame there’s not a permanent table at the front but get why not. Weird ref no USBs in the back. 160bhp nice.
I wonder if the person who bought it fancied something different.

It wasn’t as long as a CV no, I think I said it was probably ok at a squeeze for a 6 footer… sure I mentioned it had a slightly smaller locker? Been a while since I filmed it…. Definitely bigger than a CV40/80 though
Is it just me but is it odd that the fridge vents are behind the side door when it's open? Surely in the summer you would be wanting that door open - especially as there are no roof vents - but then the fridge vents are blocked.
They’re not blocked as the door sits open by about 4 inches when it’s slid back 👍

The toilet looked uncomfortable to use with the shower controls positioned so low and next to the bowl.

Never been a fan of benimar vans always found them a bit style over substance with pretty poor build
I’d not really seen much of them but yeah it looks good style wise
