This woman is one of the last salt farmers in her village. #SaltFarming #Bali #SeaSalt
Hardworking woman, mad respect
Fr 🫶🏾
Just to think how hard our ancestors worked for the things we have freely today.
Honor your parents and those who came before. 🙏
Or work even harder than them!
Some women today: that’s too hard I’m already comfortable do it for me
@@bluetheraptor6216 the same for men
@@questionister some of them

I hope yall pay her well after showing how hard it is to make the salt
Wag ka na mag salita ah.
I'm not sure the salt is safe to consume considering how polluted the balinese ocean is
@@nativeoutdoors1780ya because people like you keep visiting the island and make it polluted
Now a queen of a woman!! That takes such dedication..
I know her neck and shoulders hurt
Your's is heartfelt comment 🙏
After certain time the body gets use to it.. 8ts like getting a job for the first time after 20 years of life. For the first few days, ones feet's gonna hurt from standing, arms from picking up thing and so on, but after to get 4th 5th day of doing it over and over again your body it's use to it
It’s really too bad that these hard-working souls can’t make the ocean inflow Do at least some of this work for them. This is backbreaking labor, but since there are fewer people doing it, I certainly hope they’re able to get a much higher price for their product. They sure deserve it.
Huge respect 🙏 👏
The U.S. game series The Amazing Race has been on for 34 Seasons, they have traveled to Indonesia for 5 of them (19, 21, 22, 23, & 28), & during Season 28 1 of the challenges was for teams to do this task.
Thank you! I missed those challenges.
I would kill to try that salt
Good thing buying it is also an option
For anyone wondering… the salt cost $29 for 2.5oz as of 2023 …
A real g
This woman is working hader then most guys at my job mad respect.
much respect for her hard work and traditional practice.. but I wonder how pure the salt is considering the pollution in Balinese seas.
Where and how do I buy salt from this women and or other salt farmers in her village??????
I must have this salt before this art is lost and forgotten.
W woman from Bali what a harworker💪😤
She is so oppressed by the patriarchy
Omit the background music, so we may enjoy the ambient sounds of her work.
Yeap, ASMR
Beatiful
Honestly who else wants to try the salt
She's not 45, no way.
She looks way older
Lmao I thought the same thing
must be the salt
As a 47 year old woman, I think she absolutely looks 45 years old. Those of us leading hard lives show our age, especially without make up.
There's a difference between a 45 yo woman in the city (with pretty dress, make-up, skin care products and everything) and a woman in a village, who does manual labor under the sun 24/7 for a living.
No, I'm not shaming anyone. I don't do manual labor like that either. But adjust your standard man....
This lady's calves are jacked.
Oh man I wish I could give her a massage lol fr though 😩 that looks painful . Such a hard working woman yasss !
Sea salt, WalMart $2.50 for 20 pounds.😂😂😂
Mad respect. In the meantime US people say life is hard serving coffee in Starbucks
Respects for the humongous effort...
I hope she is teaching the younger generation to learning
Would it not be quicker to boil the sea water, clean salt right away
I guess that volcanic sand gives the salt some natural aroma and flavour, plus they're using nature's heat saving on energy that would probably cost them alot of money to buy.
An tiktok user hast stolen this clip from you.
Can't you just boil sea water until all that's left is salt?
Yup just takes a heat source and fuel
healthy salt
45 bro?
They dry it on the sand! damn that is ridiculously inefficient, at least use a black tarp instead of freaking sand, they clearly have access to it or something similar by the look of those buckets, just imagine the amount of sand they have to filter through to get at most 1% salt. And it's not like i'm asking too much, people have been harvesting sea salt for thousands of years way more efficiently than this, the egyptians did it and they probably weren't even the first.
The volcanic sand must be giving that salt some aroma and flavor, maybe 🤔
The sand concentrates the salt, making the process MORE efficient. Imagine her knowing how to make salt more than a couch potato.
@@JJBrown-lw1dv Imagine her method with the buckets being more efficient than what the rest of the 18 billion dollar sea salt industry is doing... sorry i just can't, i'm not dumb enough to imagine it.
One f the few Indo beaches without plastic all over it.
Wow
Hope she has children bc how she gonna be able to do that when she gets older. geeezzz!! wonder what her BP is like. Tough woman
Thats a woman right there
I am worried about her feets😢
Yeah, but she tastes great!
How much does it pay..
$25 a day probably
@@sdmfcfh1283 more like $2-$12 a day
45 good lord
I used to mine salt on twitter till they banned me.
Respect to her hardworking but I’d say it’s full of microplastics
Salt walk
don't eat the yellow salt
What you mean?
@@dertobbe1176 their methods are unsanitary and could possibly contain urine
I mean there was little sticks and stuff in the finish product
Gangg
Thats what equality meant here ...
wow, she is 45. i am 45 and she looks older than my mom. she should consider other profession.
I'm sure that she would love an easier lifestyle and job, but I doubt she has other options.
Yeah I’m sure OF has a new position
She looks happy, despite her circumstances. Perhaps you could learn from her.
@@jessicaheger1880 Yes, bring her for one month to a nice house with running warm water, heating, fridge, WC, bath with Jacuzzi and than bring her back here. I am sure she will continue to be happy. She does not know any better Karen.
Well she has a tradition to preserve
Prolly living in your mums basement free of all worries right
Think I'd rather starve to death.
