Hey HockeyHunter! You can request the videos through the Reveal App. It currently costs $5 for every 50 videos you request.
Reminder you can get the video from the SD card if you don’t want it right away

@@mountainbuck do you know if you can pause taking pics or videos from my phone without deleting camera? The property owners grandkids are riding dirt bikes on the trails my cameras are on at different times during the day until school starts. But if possible schedule them to take pics/videos from 8pm to 8am?
@@renardsacco3144 I know you can suspend the cameras, but it takes 24 hours to deactivate them. So, that wouldn’t work in your situation. I don’t believe they have a scheduling feature yet.

Don’t buy tacticam. Waste of time and money. Had set up 2 cams before going to place them in the woods. 2 weeks later and got NO PICTURES. Says SD SPACE HAS 30264 free slots, SPACE LEFT HAS 30142 slots. NO F*******G pictures!! Got home and FINALLY TAKES A PICTURE ON SET-UP MODE. Omfg done threw away my money.
Ouch! I feel your pain. Sometimes you have to update the firmware. It’s definitely best to get it done at home before you set it out in the field. The new reveals have over the air updates. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

It does that so the battery on it doesn’t die so fast.

Have two xpros one has issues 3 weeks old….Tactacam wanted credit card number for RMA and suggested tapping on side camera to fix stuck filter! Not impressed with customer service either!
The firmware needs to be updated constantly, and the camera does not send every picture to your phone. When you go to check the SD card there are more pictures on the SD card than sent.

R&R for Tactacam here; Settings play a very important role in how often the camera sends pictures to your phone. Timely is the setting where EVERY picture is sent as its uploaded. Daily would work by gathering all the photos and dumping all at once.
F/W is touchy; it's not always needing to be updated but it's recommended if you have any issues to update the FW

So.. Do you need to either have AT&T or Verizon as your personal carrier for this trail cam to work & deliver to your cell phone? Also how close does this camera need to be to the WiFi?

Hey thanks for watching! You don’t need to have a specific plan with Verizon or AT&T. You setup an account with Tactacam and pay them directly. You will need to be close to the camera for the WiFi. This is only used for setting up your cameras shot placement initially.

Hey thanks for watching and for the kind words. Tactacam cameras run on either AT&T or Verizon which are US-based cellular companies. I found this website that looks like it offers UK cellular trail cams. ukwildlifecameras.co.uk/shop/trail-trap-cameras/cellular-wireless-trail-cameras/
You could also purchase a trail camera that takes a separate SIM card which should work just about anywhere (see my Reolink Go Ranger PT video). There is a company that provides SIM cards (EIOT Club) and you can get one that works in your area.

Idk why people don’t do side by side as you did with standard vs hd image.
Only thing to add would be those rates you referred to as to extra cost for imaging, how much etc. if you displayed info in video would be great

Do these work like a prepaid cell phone or do you hook them up to your cell phone plan that you use? Just asking because I use straight talk and not Verizon but Verizon is the service I would use for the camera.

@@mountainbuck how has the battery life been with the solar panel? I’ve been doing some research on cameras, and I’m wanting to get away from my spypoints.
The battery life only dropped 10% over the month I tested it. My goal is to get 4 full months (full season of use) without having to change the batteries. Someone commented and said that was definitely doable. I’ll text that out during this upcoming season
My Browning cell camera has last from Sept 8, 2021 until just last month June 28, 2022 @18% still sending me pictures. My lease is 4.5hrs away and I'm not able to get there(wife had stroke and I'm home bound). Great Browning

does this camera allow local wifi access? i dont need the cell access but a local wifi access to see pic and change settings < like within 30 ft> as i need a good security cam for a building that is local
If I remember correctly, the only WiFi capability this has is to use the onboard WiFi to aim the camera for initial setup.

Did you have to enable Audi somewhere in settings I’m getting my videos but with no audio
Hey Francisco! Thanks for checking out my channel! I don't believe there are any audio settings available. The only video settings I see are the Video Quality and Video Length. Next time you're at your camera, try pulling the SD card and see if the videos on it have audio. It might be helpful to format the SD card (you will lose all of your photos and videos so back them up before you format).

Hey not sure if you have Verizon or AT&T in Mexico. You may want to use a different camera if possible such as the Keen Ranger PT. You can get a SIM card from EOIT club that will work anywhere
Got to the 1:47 second mark and said "Ug". I have T-mobile - which has FAR better 5G coverage than either Verizon or ATT (and is cheaper).
I guess I'll keep looking for a different trail cam as it MUST use T-mobile....

You sign up for an account with these cell cameras through their website (you aren’t adding to your existing cellular plan). You could personally use T-Mobile for your cell phone and choose a Verizon, AT&T or dual sim option for a cellular trail cam.

Does this camera have live view?
Hey Isaac. It does not have live view. It has the live preview mode when you are nearby so you can aim it properly, but not live view from your house. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

Tactacam also has videos out on app setup. For your particular camera, I personally would go with (camera mode) Pic + Video, (image size) 16 M, (video length) 15 seconds and (settings check) Hybrid. Best of luck this season 👍🏻
So what's the difference between the XB and the 2.0?
Hey Brandon! The XB has better resolution (24MP vs 16MP), no-glow IR (as opposed to the X 2.0 “low-glow”). The X 2.0 may have better battery life, but I’m not sure about that one.

@@johnny265 correct, the 2.0 doesn’t have GPS. I bought a couple of the 2.0’s a few weeks ago and now they have the XB’s for the same price. Figures!
Can you use/ set camera settings without the app? The xpro has its own screen, the 2.0 doesn't, so do you need app for settings?
When you downloaded app, could you add cameras without paying for a plan? Or do you have to pay and then are able to add camera?
Hey Clint! Yes you need the app to adjust settings for the 2.0. You are correct in that with the X-Pro you can change settings on the screen.
Yes, I believe you are are able to add cameras without paying for a plan. You can also deactivate (pause/suspend) your plan and your cameras will still be listed i the app.
Good review! For some of us though that just want to see what is out there not sure if it is that big a difference between the regular and HD.
