Why were they temporary? (Sorry..I should've known about them a long time ago. The truth is u just became into kpop literally in the beginning of the year. I knew kpop and some popular groups a long time, but recently I'm kinda getting to know other groups. I've seen wanna one in a site in the list of most popular bg's ever. And I've heard about them a lot and everywhere so I came to search.)
SF9's Baebaero they were formed on a show (produce 101) as sort of an ‘ideal’ boy group. Fans and individual performances of those on the show determined who would be the in group. They were temporary since the ‘contract’ of the show was to promote for around 1-2 years - plus a few of the members were actually apart of other current groups, so they couldn’t totally switch groups forever :))

(Sorry..I should've known about them a long time ago. The truth is u just became into kpop literally in the beginning of the year. I knew kpop and some popular groups a long time, but recently I'm kinda getting to know other groups. I've seen wanna one in a site in the list of most popular bg's ever. And I've heard about them a lot and everywhere so I came to search.)
SF9's Baebaero they were formed on a show (produce 101) as sort of an ‘ideal’ boy group. Fans and individual performances of those on the show determined who would be the in group. They were temporary since the ‘contract’ of the show was to promote for around 1-2 years - plus a few of the members were actually apart of other current groups, so they couldn’t totally switch groups forever :))

Pineapple Man Because they were both made from a survival show series. There are other more permanent groups made by a survival show (ex. Stray Kids, Momoland) but I think that’s just the way Produce (The series) works.
