The event felt like Tekken 8 skill base matchmaking some can take 3 days to defeat and others you can finish them in 10 secs

This event really highlighted the horrible state of the majority of games on roblox that are popular. Going through the hunt felt like going through a museum of brain rot.
It does feel like developers couldn't think of anything to create in such a short time period. Even TDS who put a good amount of effort in the hunt compared to other games still gave off that "We made this last night" feel.

Maybe if roblox gave the devs enough time to update their game for the hunt. Some of the terrible games might have not been rushed and terrible
@@TechyOP_i think they told games earlier than others like arsenal and tsb which they made the event good but some games like project smash were probably told like on the day of the update
You’ve prolly never played tds, it’s just how they are for roblox events and events in general. Kinda half-assed nowadays. But, as a tds player, content is content, so I don’t complain. Also, if you complain about tds, you never played an older egg hunt.
To be honest, the mimic also did a decent job when it came to the work they put in for the atmosphere. However, they could improve the way you get the egg because it was overall tedious and too easy as the boss usually glitches in a building.
They basically turned the mimic into a simulator but at least they didn't force game passes don't your throat
Yeah, they just have a game pass shop to advertise their game passes next to the pad where you sell stuff for gold.

100 Badges player here and I have to agree with this video. We asked for Egg Hunts, not a UGG/Devs showcase. I guess they wanted money, huh?
This hunt for Roblox was so anticipated but the choice of games were pretty bad except some games, and if your banned in one game you basically won’t that 100 badges egg if your going for it.
I think you need atleast 95 badges for the last hunt item in the pass.

There were SO many missed opportunities. Hours, Phighting, Combat Initiation, Zo Samurai, OMT 3, Super Bomb Survival, Voxlblade, Book of Monsters, and my personal favorite: Arcane Odyssey. Honestly, if Roblox really wanted to get more money, then they should go for quality. I understand that quantity is easier than quality, but if Roblox wants to sustain their monetary gain, then they should promote games that make people want to continue playing on the platform. Realistically, the current main population of roblox (5 year olds) will not continue playing as they get older. Great vid btw.

I really missed the old event, where you collect eggs as accessories and wear them in catalog. It was a very fun experience but, in todays event i felt that roblox was just being lazy. Some games atleast gave us a reward like The strongest battle grounds by giving us a free Egg UGC. I want the old egg hunts back. It was fun and memorable while it lasted.
I have one big issue with that event, simply saying that the metaverse hunt one was way better, i know many people did not like it but i honestly loved how they made it feel like you were contributing to a main goal with your community which was an amazing idea, and also for all the rewards you only needed 16 badges as where now you need 95 which is absurd, the metaverse hunt might have gotten a lot of hate but its probably the best dev hunt we got yet and it makes me sad that roblox cant do something like that again
icl the bayside high school was a pretty cool badge to get for the hunt and i dont see many people talking about it

I was surprised that blox fruits was not in the hunt. But tbh, their devs are so lazy that they probably rejected the offer for their game to be in the hunt

Tower heroes instead of toilet tower defense would been better, but seriously a lot of pvp games with rookie people teamed up to get the badge or rewards of this and is unfair because need more friends had a hatredfull obby, with the game of Tower All Star Defense was hatredfull too (i couldn't find the bunny) and hiloh was doing a Special Quest for the hunt but he modified the hunt quest for Lil Chip'pocalypse was funny because it was a cookie clicker level and i got the lil chip event, with rbbattles championship hunt thing i choosed Rat Battle instead of rap battle, with piggy we all the players teamed up to find the vault codes and everything, then on doors well.... we had the problem of literally the entities like Blitz or lookatme guy killing me when i was trying to find the elevator for the hotel@@TechyOP_

As a regular strongest battleground player the event is good but it sometimes gets annoying trying to fight people and the npcs start spamming walls bombs and dodgeballs
I have a new tactic: Hot Potato
Basically just lure your opponent near the npc and run as fast as I can before I get abused by the npcs
I think the only reason why I felt like doing this event was because it was like 2020 egg hunt which was the only egg hunt I got to do so I didn’t get to experience “the good egg hunts”
But at least for the 2020 egg hunt you still got a hat for every game you did but in the hunt you only receive a hat on certain milestones of games completed.
Am i the only one who really enjoyed playing nit only steep steps event but the game itself
I actually despised the Death Ball badge because I was actually unable to enter the Korblox raid. Gotta love a teleport fail safe that kicks you from the server instead of leaving you in the game to wait for the constant stream of assets to load.

Honestly I really enjoyed the event and tbh I think this event was a pure test 100 games to see which ones put in effort for the next event and they are even asking the community what can be improved
I cant even do swordbust 3 quest because a while ago i deleted my only sword on accident. Now I cant even kill the enemies.

It pains me to not hear anyone talk about the tower heroes event. It was simple but yhe creativity from it was excellent for me. It took its orginal concept flipped it over, flipped it over again and then combined another whole game with it. Slander me if you want but i genuinely enjoyed the event along with a few others that i played with my friend.

May be just because we havnt had a even in years but I did not like 2020 at all cause they didn't give you a lobby and they made the item to track your eggs a gear which most games didn't allow

one point that you made which most youtubers left out was for roblox to add underrated and unique games instead of these cash grabs, and i fully agree with you, idk why that thought never crossed my mind, its beneficial for all three sides, roblox gets more people playing games and doing the hunt, the underrated games get the recognition they deserve, and players get unique and fun games to play.

1:30 worst of all is that the bike that you get from the event doesn't help with the first task since it becomes impossible in the 27% of it, you can't continue (Edit: sorry, I teleported to world 1 through the race world so I was in world 4 for some reason, but it has a lot of bugs) , and if you change bike or use power ups/ skips, it becomes invalid, and the run needs to be valid for you to complete the task
The obby on the bike was easily the worst. Id recommend doing the race one and using the motorcycle u get to breeze through world 4 and beat world 1 in under 13 mins

I think the tds event was a hero. Don't need to have played the game before to be able to do it, no p2w required. They put effort in designing a new map and many new enemies for it.

I honestly really like steep steps aswell. It's difficult, insanely difficult but actually had a lot if thought put into it. It's also a lot of fun, and you could speed run it if you're good enough or just use help from a friend if your not so good

Did you know that some games had only SO LITTLE DAYS to make the event thing? That's why some of them are really bad. And that's what makes me rage the most, the bad communication with the devs.

I love how the rell brothers just made a big ass map used a recolored version of the bunny in rell seas and gave us free stuff,they truly are the goats
hitman reborn was one of my fav games in roblox since even if it was highly inspired from hitman codename 47, it was scripted well and the gameplay was very good, even the multiplayer was underrated. the game has like 47 players only playing and as a roblox single player game (wich is rare to see nowadays) is pretty good, has some bugs but it had definetly the chance on being in the hunt.
The worst part is that a quarter of them don’t even tell u how to get the hunt badge u just to figure it out urself

i doubt that. if roblox wanted to know what games people liked theyd prob check out videos, plus the games chosen are either cash grabs, games that make u sit there and afk until u get it, literal brainrot, or that very small percent that was actually good.

This event was the definition of “Quantity over quality”
earlier today when i did the fruit battlegrounds badge, i realized what i didn’t like about roblox anymore. the push of these copy and paste battle games full of sweats, the basic simulators with the same format and concepts and pets where all you do is click your mouse, and more. back in the day, roblox games had much less focus on this constant linear progression, and roleplay games weren’t free models or these super high quality over the top games with the most serious roleplayers. when hangout games weren’t just called vibe {blank} (no hate to vibe cafe tho that game is fire)

Whatever's wrong with this event, they need the community to feedback on it so that they can do a better one next time
If everyone is just going to overly criticise the event with no ways on how to improve it, then they might as well not do an event at all

Before the event I was so happy to hear that roblox was doing one because it would be my first event and the lack of things they left out really made me disappointed.

they shouldve made better accessories for the prizes instead of the mid ones they actually gave us

I played the 2020 egg hunt, and its shocking that there wasnt a ton of cash grabs in it, it was one of my most fun memories, and there was a ton of interesting games(there is still 1 game that haunts me to this day because of the BS parkour)

This event is in the middle ground for me there were bad ones but then there were some really surprisingly well made ones in games I would never expect that much effort put into them it’s a mixed bag for me.

before, the games chosen actually made a storyline and some fun event in a really great game that was essentially fun but now they completely made it money hungry which was a great disappointment because the whole point was to make it fun and you earn something from it to celebrate a holiday. I think Roblox has completely forgotten the whole point of the egg hunts and it just doesn’t feel the same.
strongest battlegrounds wasnt fun, it was just another premium payout farm. why else would they have you collect 11 KEYS?
I honestly preferred the old 2017 hunt where you could go into a fun adventure game to find eggs that also give you them as hats

Roblox listened to the community and added a hunting event like we wanted.
Everyone just wants the item, no one recognizes the fun.
Ofcourse it’s Roblox’s fault for adding brainrot copy games. (Pull a sword, lumberjack simulator, ect.)

Everyone deserves an ugc here and there. But would you rather get a ton of ugc’s for getting 100 badges rather than no fun?
You could see Roblox wanted to add a ton of content instead of rewards but not as much content.
yeah yeah, the Limiteds are locked behind paywalls and the golden items too, but, they won’t be as cool if you can get them easily.
you had 15 days for 100 badges. If you say that’s too much, how can you not get like 9 badges a day?

If you can’t even handle getting like 9 badges a day which you can do passively most of the time. (Like getting all badges in doors since the hunt is a badge in it and I mean like the achievements menu.) then you shouldn’t even be begging so much for an event.
be grateful for what you have. If Roblox thinks people don’t like events they may not do them anymore.
Ik y’all are gonna yap in the replies and say I’m wrong. But, I don’t get mad at Roblox for doing an event which we always wanted.
The devs had 2 weeks to do the hunt so don’t say some games were lazy, they have to work on other updates too.

To be honest as someone who got ALL 100 badges the main reason I loved the good games so much is because of the bad in between. I felt so numb to the absolute atrocities that some games put out.
But that just meant the well made masterpieces like rb battles, catalog avatar creator arsenal, death ball and doors made me so impressed as I saved them for last.
Also I had to say that the games that did well but didn’t make a masterpiece deserve attention like steep steps, pls donate, SCP RP and combat warriors as they all made some good events.
My favorite is easily TDS because of the great atmosphere and because I like TD games and the fact that it allowed me to do some pretty fun challenges on my own.
Also, why does the rb battles rap battle go so hard?
Sad that if roblox sees the event wasn't well received, there won't be any more events, again...

Whenever I hear someone even try to argue that this is a good event, I will always use the argument of "if this was the 2019 or 2020 egg hunt, you would get a prize for each of the badges instead of 6 for collecting 95% of them"
(not to say those were good egg hunts, but they sure were more fun)
Football fusion 2 was by far the worst game in the hunt, it had bad graphics, no animations, little to no sound effects, an unoriginal concept, no tutorial, a generic "play the game" badge, and it was generally a buggy mess, and dont get me started on how the game has exactly 2 keybinds but exactly 0 of them work properly, i wasnt even that bad at football games, i did quite well in ultimate football, but football fusion 2 was so bad that i could not bear to finish the badge and had to spread it out over multiple days, when there are only 2 relatively simple objectives, thats how bad it was, it certainly didnt help that ive never played football IRL nor in roblox before it which only worsened it not having a tutorial
Side not: pls cover TCA, its a really good but really underrated game with about 50 active players

As much as Roblox says is taking feedback from the community, I don't think they're listening to any of the criticisms. 😭
This event felt too cash graby, lazy and I can't imagine Roblox actually caring to fix some of the problems that are based off of money and laziness. It's obvious that this event was truly made to test how much money it would get Roblox and If it goes well, I predict every event to be the same. 🤦♂
I love how everyone rates Strongest Battlegrounds so high while 40% of players didn't even play it because it was bugged.
Metaverse Champions: *Requires you to play 1 certain game for 4 weeks and you get cool accessories*

As a player who received 100 badges, I had to suffer through 2 games which are made for girls, Royal High and My Hello Kitty Cafe to get the badges.
